Christianity Etc › Re: Shut Churches: Kaduna Christians Back El-rufai by Abugab(m): 10:17am On Sep 19, 2015
On the long run El Rufai's decision is for the good of the Christian Church in Kaduna.
When some church leaders turn churches to private enterprises, it goes to show that they are no longer houses of worship.
CAN and PFN should handle this and let those struggling for the house of God know that its not their properties or their fathers'
Politics › Re: Opinion Poll- Is Nigeria Is Drifting Backwards At A Steady Pace? by Abugab(m): 9:08am On Sep 19, 2015
But we spent 16 years of doing nothing before APC came on board.
This stage is to plan as you don't come inherit a govt that was camatosed and expect to hit the ground running. This is applicable in every management as serious planning has to take place, you choose your team to help deliver and things starts picking slowing from there.
This moves so far is to guarantee growth as you don't do things the old way and expect change.
This is one fact Nigerians must come to terms with as the old way of doing things can't be the way again.
Nigeria is filly on course
Politics › Re: Saraki:CCT Does Not Have Equal Jurisdiction With the High court- Agbakoba by Abugab(m): 8:26am On Sep 19, 2015
Obynolee:
We should learn to give honour to whom it is due,Chief Agbakoba is not speaking about the "crux of the matter "(point of facts) but point of Law which I believe (to a larger extent)that he is right.
I know that for sure. All these running to the courts is what has made these thieves always evade justice. If Saraki truly knows he is free let him not run anywhere but face the CCT. My take is the case against him and not his trying to play the legal games they always play.
Politics › Re: Delta APC Guber Candidate Emerhor Criticizes Buhari Over Utomi's Nomination by Abugab(m): 7:23am On Sep 19, 2015
Political jobbers will never like the appointments made by PMB because the see every political regime as an avenue to chop from the national cake and not the good of the nation. The balance that has been there since 1999 what has it yielded the nation outside those in positions looting the treasury with their cronies?
The competencies of those appointed should have been this man's headache instead of tribalizing the appointments. He should be thankful that Deltans have be found capable by the present govt and be proud of it instead of his ethnic position. Every ethnic group cannot surely be represented in this govt.
Politics › Re: Northern Group To Saraki: Resign Now by Abugab(m): 7:15am On Sep 19, 2015
Should Saraki be found culpable following legal and constitutional means, I guess he will naturally quit the seat.
Why is the whole issue getting unneccesarily politicized? There are many Sarakis in the system and purging them out will require tact and sense in order for the polity not to be overheated as Nigerians tend to sway too much towards sentiments on issues of politics.
Saraki could just be the big scapegoat on this anti corruption war.

The man is only trying to correct some wrong impressions and distinguish between superiority and inferiority.

I know you can't wait to see Saraki go to prison. but take it easy, becos the final outcome may shock you so hard than you think. This is politics, anything can happen at anytime.
I known its the same old circus show but expecting a difference this time around as that is the only way we can move as a nation and a people.
Romance › Re: 6 Years Of Relationship And Want Out, Please Need Serious Help! by Abugab(m): 6:31am On Sep 19, 2015
Complicated though but there is always a way around it.
Your current status and finances is your reason for wanting to quit. Your girl seems comfortable with the whole scenario despite her age. Two failed attempts to join you. You can't relocate to Nigeria yet.

Op, have you spoken with her with these points raised?
I will tel you in all sincerity, these same reasons have to be communicated and discussed as two matured adults going forward.
However, I will advice you that if she is a good girl and worthy to be a wife, kindly see how you can make things work out. You don't need all the money to marry a good wife as she will understand because she has known you for six years.
Things will surely improve on your side and I believe you two can weather the storm.
If the reasons given by you are the true reasons, both of you can iron things out. Speak to her and don't bottle things up. The earlier, the better for the two of you. Wish you luck.
Politics › Re: Saraki:CCT Does Not Have Equal Jurisdiction With the High court- Agbakoba by Abugab(m): 6:14am On Sep 19, 2015
The crux of the matter is false declaration of assets by Saraki but Agbakoba is here speaking legal grammar because Saraki has money to hire over 10 SANs to defend him.
Anyhow, its still early days, we are waiting and watching how this drama will play out..
One fact is that there won't be any hiding place soon in Nigeria for political thieves whether past or present.

Politics › Re: What Happens To Ekweremadu If Saraki Is Jailed For Corruption. by Abugab(m): 2:04pm On Sep 18, 2015
If Saraki gets booted out which is likely or get's highly tamed, Ekweremadu will not survive the wind too. He could likely be pushed out first to pave way for a sim-less change over. Ekweremadu's skeletons will soon be exhumed and brought to the fore and so he can't have a smooth ride.
I am sure APC already has this planned out as Lawal could still lead the senate before this administration expires.
Saraki allowed his ambition to thwart his rational prowess knowing fully well that he is dealing with his likes but with a HIGHER POWER which will be the joker and decider in this game
Politics › Re: ICPC Arraigns 5 Directors In Niger Delta Ministry Over N655million Theft by Abugab(m): 1:45pm On Sep 18, 2015
NDDC was just a drain pipe for siphoning money by some unscrupulous elements.
For the years this commission has existed and all the allocations to it, their impact in the lives of Niger Deltans and the region has been minimal.
They should cough out all they have stolen and NDDC re-positioned to impact more on the lives of the people instead of some thieves in the name of directors.

So,one can conclude that the reason your "AWO" could not get to the centre unlike his contemporaries was that he lacked those points you raised here.
Again, you have forgot they ran the show in the immediate past administratiom...they maned:petroleum, health, labour, finance and on and on.
I think, the Igbos are very smart people.
Yea, they ran the show for themselves as individuals.
Can you name the number of shows they ran in the entire SE for the people including you?
You should bury your head like the ostrich in the sand as what I enumerated in my post are facts that I know about and not your opinion. Mind you am not Yoruba but more Igbo than you.

Don't worry. When you will see them throwing fisticuffs, you will say they are only acting a action scene. When TINUBU will gather all the fools from mushin to alagbado at Gani fawenhmi's park, to declare war on the government, you will say that it is a reenactment of the 2012 fuel subsidy protests. Your eyes will soon shed salty tears.
You will continue to shed your tears that you have started shedding since May 29 till 2019 if you can comment without being abusive. Keep wailing......
Politics › Re: Presidency Releases Picture Of 'Happy-Looking' Osinbajo, El-Rufai by Abugab(m): 10:04pm On Sep 17, 2015
Why is APC trying to even respond to PDP at all?
The story was a blatant lie as PDP is striving so hard to create division along ethnic lines as they are scared of the romance between the whole north and the South West.
PDP just keep making blunders each passing day.
The Osibanjo I know won't get into any fight with anyone. Haters should just let the man be and play his role as VP.
Politics › Re: Why South-east Lost Senate Presidency - Okorocha by Abugab(m):
Since the exit of Nnamdi Azikiwe, the SE have not been able to strategically align politically. This is largely due to the pursuits of selfish goals as against the common goal.
Some of them are shouting Biafra now when they should actually be building political bridges to cover lost grounds. Even the same Ojukwu they tend to feign idolising now was bluntly rejected by the same people when he contested for presidency. In short he got less than 5% votes from the SE.
They need to go back to basis is high now more than ever before to help place the SE at that enviable political position in Nigeria.
They need the govt as the govt needs them.
Okorocha is right as the political permutations were really faulty in this past elections in the SE

Fayose never start self, he will extend his iron hand to all.
Fayose will run Ekuti like a fiefdom and at the end of four years Ekiti people would have realized that rationalism should be superior to sentimentalism.
Some greedy imams will have more than enough rams for the Salah based on the rejection by the upright ones.
Ekiti political circus continues with Fayose as the lead character

razid:
And this administration is quite aware of this and has taken up the challenge. At every opportunity he has, PMB has always reiterated his resolve to develop agriculture and mining. In my primary school days in the early 80's, we were taught Enugu is referred to as the Coal city because of the cacophony of coal in that city. But where is Enugu in terms of coal today? I believe that the present administration is not that keen on crude oil only because of the way they have met the treasury and the kind of graft that has been going on in the sector. As for me, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
That's the prayer of every well meaning Nigerian for this govt to help get our groove back as a nation. I have high hopes for this govt and pray they succeed. We are on the same boat.
Politics › Re: US Resumes Crude Oil Imports From Nigeria by Abugab(m): 8:05am On Sep 15, 2015
Some respite
The sure way to go is diversification into agriculture, solid minerals, marinetime amongst others or we shall keep seeing the crash in crude oil prices and lack of buyers as alternatives are being developed.
Our over reliance on crude oil is a disease we must cure now or never

Let's see how far they will go with the enforcement.
When ex militants and nurtw members go around with fully armed mobile policemen everywhere one is left butto weep for the NPF.
Nigeria Police have been reduced to a bodyguard outfit for money bags leaving the people at the mercy of God. December is coming when the demand for police men by money bags is highest let's see and use this season to test how efficiently the directive was effected.
