Family / Re: Cousin's Too Close? by AbujaBoy(m): 8:24pm On Jul 01, 2007
You mean 'whether', cocoa, I have analyzed your scenario for many months, I have come to a conclusion. You are attracted to your cousin, and you are not experienced sexually with men. 1) You do indeed have sexual desires for him, hence you approached him, and when he told you that he saw you as a sister, you honestly were shocked, because you deeply did want a sexual relationship with him. Perhaps, not marriage, but something a lot more passionate than 'HI HAVE YOU SEEN YOUR NEPHEW TODAY ? HOW IS THE FAMILY ? PLEASE, CAN YOU SAY HI TO YOUR MOTHER', you want something deeper. Which is why Jack Bauer is at Diana's tribute concert, :/

Haha, dude, nah, if you have a proxy or another shell account you'd get in be it K-lined or not. I suppose you'd have to change your username in IRC though, but servers like freenode are commonplace for such thingz, and I don't go to such places wink
Seun, you go to irc.squeakfreak.org right?
Computer Market / Re: Wi Fi Hot Spots Now In Abuja by AbujaBoy(m): 10:44pm On Mar 11, 2006
Yes, people can. However, certain areas are WiFi enabled and some are not. Besides, most WiFi enabled lappy's or PDA's are quite expensive in the market. If you have about an hundred grand though, you could get a fair one, (a new one too) The HP NX6110 is a very decent bargin, schools like ABTI give them out free upon admission.
I hear globacom is doing some broadband thing, i dunna how far along they've gotten. It's sad really, not having fast enough bw.

hot-angel, your desktop is sexy, where are ya? :p oh by the way, on your Dell Computer its advised to reformat your hdd, prepackaged computers tend to come with many, many partitions and slow down the efficency of your computer, so REINSTALL WINDOWS (Or linux) ON IT TODAY!

Family / Re: If Your Husband-To-Be "Murders" Queen's English Daily! by AbujaBoy(m): 3:38pm On Mar 10, 2006
I honestly don't blame her, she has high expectations for the man she intends to marry. She wouldn't want to be embarrased around friends and other possible prominent people in the society, if thats what turns her off she should do as she pleases,  I have exceedingly specfic taste. A girl can possess all the quailities in the world, but if _one_ failz, all fail.
Eitherway, hopefully times would change, its a shame that Nigeira's national language is english but 60% of the people in Nigeria can't speak English fluently.

Adverts / Anyone Need A Roomate? (Lagos) by AbujaBoy(m): 7:29am On Mar 10, 2006
Does anyone need a _geeky_ roomate? Does anyone have a spare room available? If anyone has space kindly consider me, I'm 19 male and I have decent computer knowledge, I intend to move to lagos from Abuja and start my own life up, If anyone's got anything reasonable kindly contact me on 080-568-666-58. I really really need this.
Oh and I'm agnostic, I smoke, I drink but I never do practice most of what I do amongst those that're irked by it.
If anyone's interested, kindly do us a favor, yer? smiley
Thanks,  (awaits response , )

Computers / Re: Why Is It So Hard Now To Buy Something Online? by AbujaBoy(m): 3:34am On Mar 10, 2006
I know a cybercafe that assists customers with debit cards, when they want to purchase stuff. They give the cybercafe the cash, the cyber cafe lets them use their debit card, and the goods get delivered to the net cafe, then to the customer in question, I feel this is a sec. flaw, for anyone can keep logs of the debit card usage & numbers can't they?
Computers / Re: MIRC And IRC by AbujaBoy(m): 3:12am On Mar 10, 2006
I'd much rather use irssi anyday over HydraIRC. The same way I'd use Gentoo Linux as opposed to Microsoft(TM) Windows(TM) XP home edition. It's a matter of choice.
Besides, there's an irssi version for msdos, "http://www.ircreviews.org/clients/trumpet.html"
Computers / Re: MIRC And IRC by AbujaBoy(m): 10:37pm On Mar 09, 2006
IRC isn't meant to look friendly.
IRSSI is compatible with windows, via using cygwin "www.cygwin.com" CLI chat clients are the best, as far as sec. is concerned most GUI clients are vulnerable, that is not to say, however that text based clients aren't. If you run linux and want to try out a text based yahoo client, made by a mate, "http://larvalstage.com/zinc" , It's very decent. smiley
Does HydraIRC have UTF-8 support, Seun? I'm mildly curious,
Webmasters / Re: How To Start An Online Radio Station by AbujaBoy(m): 10:30pm On Mar 09, 2006
I used to have my own online radio station, its quite simple, It wasn't live or anything, but I uploaded the episodes via ftp to my server a day before it went public. I used audacity. "http://audacity.sourceforge.net" It's really good sound editing software. You have to explore it though, to know how good it is. You can modifiy beats from songs that you already have , or you can simply make your own beats using fruity loopz.
Computers / Re: MIRC And IRC by AbujaBoy(m): 10:27pm On Mar 08, 2006
I have known no better client than irssi. www.irssi.org I think the link is (try .com if that doesn't work) irssi is a CLI coded client, which means, that it's a command line interface, and there is no pretty colours. All chat servers have seperately sold idiots, like with yahoo and your regular spammer, IRC has its own field of idiots, which usually are idiots that range from skiddiez to boasters.

A nice GUI client I've found to be the best on both Microsoft and GNU/Linux is xchat. It's a well coded C client, www.silverex.info/download == for windows, and www.xchat.org for linux, there's a limited trial version on xchat from the xchat.org site for windows users. Hence the free version is on the other link. Servers like freenode would be best for users such as yourself. As you grow in IRC so shall your vision of servers and clients. smiley Have fun.

Business / Re: Cyber-Cafe Business: Still Viable? by AbujaBoy(m): 11:02pm On Mar 07, 2006
Yes, it is. In major cities such as Abuja, Lagos and P.H alot of people have atleast a 56k connection, however, there are some that don't. I'd probably be good for you to get a connection in neighbouring cities/towns/villages that aren't really yet fully incapsulated in the computing world
Computers / Re: Connecting To Yahoo Chat Rooms Through Linux Gateway by AbujaBoy(m): 10:10pm On Mar 07, 2006
Yahoo clients for linux don't work with webcamz. Why, do you feel lonely at home on a tuesday night? Get a decent CLI client, it'll most likely work. Try curphoo or zinc.
