Change your profile pic and put a good picture of yourself there. Bid continuously on different projects per day (like 10 bids daily). Within a week, you will get a project to do. Also, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Spread your wings to other platforms. You can try Fiverr too. Build a platform (a blog) where you can market your skills directly to clients.
Thanks a great deal ma'am. I do appreciate this that you've done. You're one of a kind.

IAmNotYourMate:
Hello guys, I just want to thank beatzone, hazzantazzan, and other contributors to this thread. Though Ive been making money on fiverr b4 I discovered this thread, but this thread has really helped me a lot. I became a level 2 seller a few days back and the pay from fiverr over the months has been good, like really good. Though I must confess, it's hard work, I can't count how many sleepless nights I've had. But when the money comes, I'll be like screw sleep, I don't want to ever sleep again. grin I call Fiverr the Yahoo for intellectuals. Sometimes it feels like I'm dreaming.
I offer writing and power point presentation gigs on fiverr and will be expanding to more niches soon.

Immediately my level 2 status was confirmed I went on vacation mode straight grin grin grin Let me go and enjoy my money small. When I resume, my charges will go up and Shakara go enter
To fiverr newbies, if you need any help post it. We'll help you out here.

S/O to Sunboy, he has been helping me withdraw. Excellent rates and the whole process lasts less than 5 mins.
Hello bro, can you help do a review of my gig and give some recommendations where needed? The link to my profile: https://www.fiverr.com/abuuthaymeen

infact this is the kind of photos that oyinbo like sef...show them pictures of everything in Nigeria, things about Africa looks strange to them because they are not things they usually see so when your photobook contains what they usually do not see they will get attracted to the book and want to see the pictures..e.g pictures of a boy selling gala on the street, pictures of people dancing shoki, pictures of calabar carnival....I just used these as examples ,it does not mean u must use such pictures..
Great! It's nice you're following the thread religiously to give answers to questions and unknotting the knots for us were problems emerge. Now I'll kick start work on publishing my photo book.
Best wishes,

Okay, I applied for and got a long-term web-content writing contract. The problem is that I am simply too busy with other stuff.

I need someone who is experienced in writing web content (not articles, note) to write about 10 in the present batch I have at hand.

I need quality writing with little (no) need for editing or proofreading. Pay is $2.5 per 500 words but I will increase it to $3 if I'm particularly impressed.

Ability to integrate keywords properly is key.

Please notify your interest by sending me an email at alexade999@gmail.com.

I'm going out now and I'll be back around 8 or 9. I will send a test article then (I'll CC everyone so you'll know I'm sending the same thing to everyone).
It appears the e-mail address isn't correctly written, you need to check and rewrite it.
Modified: I just sent a mail to the address and it delivered. Maybe there was a mixup earlier.

Business / Re: A New Business Idea In Need Of Suggestions And Objective Critiquing by AbuuUthaymeen(m): 5:59pm On Feb 11, 2016
On the first point you raised; how do we make our money and how will those who found item(s) be rewarded.

In regards to the former our basic means of generating income from the project is putting up Ad for people on our website by leveraging on our huge traffic base. We believe a lot item are lost by people that ordinarily if there were a means to connect the finder with the owner of the lost item, which will make people to be willing to utilize the website thereby creating a huge traffic base. For the latter, our project is seen as a social impact project. So, much importance isn’t attached to compensation of those who found item(s). From personal observation over the years, despite the pervasive notion that Nigerians are dishonest or no one is willing to be a good Samaritan anymore, there are still a good number of Nigerians out there, from the bus conductor to the cab driver, the market woman, student et al. there are those who are willing to give up whatever they have found without seeking a remuneration for that. Notwithstanding this, one of our long term plans is to give a certificate of recognition to those who have proven themselves worthy of it. This will be done by providing a system of rating or point gathering for those who find items and return them often, so the higher this gets the bigger the propensity of clinching the coveted certificate. The importance of this is that, we will get NGOs, Governmental organizations and possibly the police to endorse it. Also, this will be an added value to a prospective employee to include it in his/her Resume.

As to how the ownership will be verified after details of found item(s) given.
First, not all the description will be available to users who have come to us for the availability of their items. While a person is filling in information on the item on item that was found, two options will be able to him if there is a means of identity in the item found, but if not he will be asked to state the place and closest time he found it after this he then can lay claim to the item. This links to the next method to be utilized. This other way to stall against laying false on item(s) is having a “Waiting time” whereby an item that has been found will be promoted using the social media for a period of time after which the former claimant can finally take away the item with him/her if no one else lays claim to it.
Politics / Re: Man Who Was Beaten By Military Cadet On Channels TV (Photos) by AbuuUthaymeen(m): 12:10pm On Feb 08, 2016
What of the other guy that was punished with him, he also should be asked to come and tell his story. This is an issue worthy of hype and media attention. When i watched that clip, my heart cried at the crass irresponsibility and crudeness of those that are supposed to defend we the citizens against any form of aggression. This takes us back to the detailed report of amnesty international on the conduct of army officials in the war against BH. You should ask yourself why does the Boko Haram ranks keep swelling? All those rhetorics about illiteracy and poverty aren't untrue, but they only succeeded in getting the initial fighters. The main reason is because of the millitary atrocities. watch these videos on YouTube and you will understand; "NIGERIAN HIDDEN WAR" GENOCIDE UNDER PRESIDENT JONATHAN and IN BOKOHARAM FIGHT, ''NEW VIDEO OF ALLEGD ATROCITIES BY NIGERIAN MILLITARY''. my own two dinar.

[c] In addition to the above, i see business opportunities here. first if you're intending to start a blog you can start blogging about how to save oneself from assaults like this one and also a person who knows any forn of martial arts can encourage people with scenarios like this and more to take up martial arts class. This is because, from the look of things this isn't ending soon. [c\]

Business / Re: A New Business Idea In Need Of Suggestions And Objective Critiquing by AbuuUthaymeen(m): 3:49pm On Feb 07, 2016
Acidosis:
Great idea, but here are a few points I think you should note.

1. What does the initiator stands to gain? How do you make your money and how would you reward those who find lost items? Not everyone would be willing to pick up lost items, take photographs and upload same online.

2. Assuming I find an empty wallet in Ikorodu, upload same online and eventually find the "owner". How do I verify true ownership after stating the detailed description online?

3. Assuming I pick up an empty wallet and the true owner shows up via your platform with the claims that the wallet holds an International Passport and $200, who would bare the cost and to what end? What if the owner descends mercilessly on the "Samaritan", would you be available to bail users?

4. The above issues can be rectified if you state your business strategies clearly and thoroughly.

But remember, ideas are not enough, one needs to translate ideas into profitable ventures.

All the same, your idea is unique sir and it's largely feasible.
Thanks for gracing this thread, i'll respond appropriately to the points you raised soonest.
Business / A New Business Idea In Need Of Suggestions And Objective Critiquing by AbuuUthaymeen(m): 10:52pm On Feb 06, 2016
Business Idea: An e-platform that shows people their lost item(s) has been found by someone.
Details: The platform as described above is to offer a platform for people who have found an item(s) or lost item(s) to connect with the owner or know who has found it.
When a person finds an item(s) he/she is confused as to what to do with it or where to take it to. This is when our platform comes in by allowing a person who has found an item to take a picture of it, give a brief description, and if he is still at the spot he found the item he clicks on a button, a Google Map plugin, that shows where the exact location is--instantly. This is to ease the connection and to help in ascertaining easily who the true owner of an item is--painlessly. For a person who wants to check, after knowing about our site, he/she will just run a brief search and also there will be room for filter so as to be able to mark specific search.
