Please is there anyone with information on this ? I returned the passport for the correction of eendorsement last week and I’m yet to get any feedback from VAC. How long does it take to get the passport back ?

To the extent schools are finding it difficult to send CAS. Some intending students still want to apply despite schools having difficulty even visa processing.

My spouse got her visa but the “no work, no business, no public fund” condition was on her vignette. We haven’t gotten any response from the VAC regarding the error and Her flight has been book for 12th November.
Who has an idea on how we can fixed this error in the UK?.

I think this issue was addressed sometime ago. You can make corrections when you arrive through the biometrics residence permit link. Once you have made corrections you will be sent a new one and the former needs to be destroyed.

It’s ridiculous and annoying. Talk about pointless waste of money . I could have driven there and pick my stuff . I even called DHL yesterday asking if I could come pick , they said yes but it has to be Monday . I said No . I will wait till Tuesday so they can do the service of the money paid .

Everything in Lagos get as e be. In abuja. You get same day delivery of your passport from Dhl even to outside abuja, as far as Kano. Highest second day

Since you live outside Lagos , you can use it but it will take days before it gets to you . I live in Lagos and my documents have been ready for collection since Friday but because I paid for courier delivery via DHL, I’m still waiting for it to be delivered . I tracked and it shows Tuesday as the estimated delivery date and that is ridiculous, a waste of money for me because it won’t take me more than 40 mins to drive to TLS VI and pick my passport . It’s a waste of money for me and unnecessary delay one which I wouldn’t have done if I had known DHL service is this slow .

Gurus in the house . Please does it take that long for DHL to make delivery . I just tracked my number to get my documents back and it’s showing expected delivery date as 14th ( That’s Tuesday ) . I live in Lagos and I applied at TLS VI . Why does it take 4 days to make delivery of a package ? Hah

You can write ' Insufficient information' as the reason since the US doesnt give a personal reason for Visa Refusal

I'd like to ask if I should write this "I was denied the visit B-2 visa, under section 214(b) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, stating that I wasn't able to demonstrate my intended activities in the United States." as a reason for a previous visa refusal or say the consular didn't give a particular reason. I was just handed the refusal letter, I just want to be sure before I submit my application.

It is the one that starts with GWF. Did they ask for additional documents when they sent the NSF mail?

For some, another message do usually follow that to ask for additional documents. In this case, it could be that they need little time to verify some of the documents you submitted .

Thank you so much for your response. Please do you suggest I send my employment evidence though it was not part of what my CAS required I should submit. I have seen people with study gap from 4 - 12 years or more were ask to explain their study gap. Mine is 9 years.

I was first asked to send Bio Data page of old passport showing the stamps and previous Visa. ( I applied for this application with a fresh passport i just renewed 3 months ago). I sent the old passport on Tuesday and then on Thursday i got another NSF to send employment history to explain the study gap since 2011. I sent that same day and now i am waiting.

Mine moved to transferred to VAC but moved to Received at VAC this morning. Do you think I should got to Tls Ikeja for my passport. Biometric done 25th October.

Getting the NSFM means they have checked your application atleast. Not a single word or updates here. Does it mean that the application is still on Queue and yet to be attended to?

Did you get NSFM? I got on the 23rd, requesting employment evidence, submitted the next morning, till now this moment, no word from them.

I think you should mail them since it is over 15 working days already. The waiting is draining and annoying, paying 220 pounds would have saved someone this long wait but i didnt know then. I wish there was a way to upgrade and even pay double. Will gladly do that at this point.

Best is to use Priority. I will gladly pay now to upgrade to priority if only it was possible. It seems they just abandoned the standard applications . Not a word from them for weeks. sigh

I think it is system glitch. The waiting is making everyone panic. People should stay away from Standard applications please. Did Biometrics since 12th and not one bit of message or update. It is just silence .

( standard application) . My wife one has an immigration issue on a connecting flight to USA in 2018 and she wasn’t allowed to board . She had a valid visa then and it was her second time . I told the agent that helped me with the application but she said it doesn’t matter . I have been doing research online and notice that they share information and I have quickly canceled my wife application this morning while waiting for the message from UKgovt if the cancellation is successful. I know it will take time to get refund but I will like to know if we can apply with a fresh filled out application immediately.
