It is only advisable to add the 50 euros so as to be able to get exactly 670 euros per month when you get to Germany and not for confirmation, the amount credited will be confirmed without regarding the deduction

takeastep is telling u the truth. it's highly unlikely for u to get the confirmation if you don't add the 50 € to make the total deposit 8040 €. if you read this thread and the previous one meticulously you would've have seen over 5 different instances where this same issue was addressed over and over again. i'm sure many people read your posts and chose to ignore you in order for you to learn the hard way, but just do yourself a favor and complete the payment if you don't wanna wait endlessly for a confirmation that won't come. I might be wrong, but so far I haven't heard of anyone who got notified without depositing the full 8040. however if you are able to get the confirmation without adding €50 kindly let us know as that'd be something new for some of us to learn on the thread.

@acedboss,tanks 4 ur help and reply.I have Googled the schools u sent especially university of cologne. but my problem is this there process of applying through uni-assit and dis there language proficiency.what advice can u give me considering the fact that I'm avoiding this two obstacles.

Uni assist shouldn't be much of an issue. Just send the required docs and pay the fees. as per language proficiency I think it's better you write the exam, try and register for IELTS. However if you can't or don't want to write the exam send an email to the academic manager(course adviser) and ask him if a letter from your university/ministry of education is acceptable in lieu of the language test. I know someone who used a letter and was admitted into this same programme.

All the best

Germans are worried and it looks like they are going to make immigration more difficult, cause they are changing the immigration law now little by little.

Please is there anyone who intends to resend DB form in the next 4 days ? So we could split the cost ...

you can fill the form, sign, scan and then send it electronically to someone in Germany, the person will then print it out and send it to db. it's cheaper and faster that way. I did it for someone last year and it was accepted.

With a sincere gratitude to the blessed 'TRINITY' i wish to share my testimony that my package was delivered to me today with my visa. The journey started last winter, though i missed out on getting an offer from Siegen (i applied late and was bitter, never knew God has a bigger plan). I got back to the drawing board with words of encouragement from beautiful people on here, God gave me a reason to trust in Him by applying to schools available for summer.

I had my interview early January and got the funding mail the next morning, with a note to correct the age of birth on my passport. Mehn! had to travel down to Abuja to face immigration but all thanks to God for His divine favor, i got it done within a few days. I scanned the new passport and sent it to the embassy, in between these days/weeks i kept on waiting for the db acct details (i was worried but had faith in God) before it was sent to me finally. Yea, passport corrected and db details gotten but here comes the funding ishh. Last week Monday the am mail dropped without funding, yea! Is God not awesome? With speed i got to Lagos few days later, and today my package arrived. Glory!!!!!

My appreciation goes to everyone here.... Dolpaz, Eke40seven, Kennyoguns, Canhelvin, Sonnyville, Honourableseyi, Adenjnr, Fapper, Futurewiser... And my Gs (femo and promise)... Abeg nor vex if i nor mention your name... Babanila, Lord..... and Twostep.... Much love people

This is just a pointer to greatness.... May God perfect all that concerneth us in Deutschland..... Amennnn.

My interview transcript and timeline will follow shortly. Cheers.

Dj abeg play me "Jesus is the greatest" by.... Lol

i'm happy for you but please fund your db account before you leave. You might have problems with extending the visa in Germany if you don't fund. I know someone in that predicament right now and he's facing deportation if he doesn't fund the account. Once again Congrats! wilkomen zu Deutscheland!

How on earth do u expect people to start reading all these voluminous pages from pali to pali

I read thru not only this thread but even the part 1 from Pali to Pali and the info I got was indeed priceless. if you don't want to read from Pali to Pali, you can use the search feature on the thread to fish out specific info. Don't ask the same questions that have been answered time and time again and expect people to answer you. it's ironic how people complain about how voluminous the thread is when they are the reason for this. The more you ask questions that have been thrashed on numerous occasions in the past the bulkier the thread gets and the less interesting it gets for others who take their time time read from the beginning till the end as it is almost the same piece of information that gets replayed and recycled time and time again.

Bottom line : Read thru the thread, it helps!

hi guys and babes

Please has anyone funded recently like starting jan 6th?

I have been getting nonsense excuses from Diamond Bank.

What do you guys and babes advice?

if you read thru the thread you would've seen where people including my humble self posted about diamond bank. They are delayers of destiny. I have a friend who's also a member of this forum who missed his enrollment deadline cos diamond bank failed to complete his form A transaction on time. it took them over 2 weeks and they only did it eventually because he knew a top boss in cbn whom he complained to and the person pressed buttons on his behalf, otherwise the transaction would've been left uncompleted forever. The annoying part was that their exchange rate and transfer charges were exorbitant, infact the highest I've heard of! I would advice you to cancel the diamond bank transaction and go to other banks that people on this thread have used successfully e.g UBA, Union, Sterling, Stanbic, and fidelity.

The way oga Eke404even posts and the kinda words he uses even after someone subtly or otherwise insults him and u expect him to get angry and lash out but he decides to do the exact opposite is very commendable! Kudos to u my guy. Most of u childish peeps on this forum need to learn from this guy... the maturity and calmness with which he addresses issues here is on another level altogether. God bless u man!

My Cameroonian brother, I know how u feel, kindly look the other way. And to the people taking shots @ him, y'all unfortunately dont get any 'cool points' for that. English is most likely not his first language, Cameroon is is predominantly francophone country.
Let's all learn to be nice to each other, focus more on the positive contribution we all are trying to make on this great forum and try as much as possible to ignore the flaws in others.

God bless bless all. Amen

Well done everyone, i started following this thread the very beginning of 40 pages of German thread 1 that was when I was in 100L. Since then I've been interested in learning the language, sign language, music for children (recorder, trumpet, keyboard), as well programming language. All these just to prepare me ahead. Though I still have a couple of years to be actively commenting on this thread, but before then I think I can be of help with little materials I have with me here. If you are in ogun state, abeokuta precisely, you can prompt me for audio German tutors worth 3.5gig. When I started with memrise and dualingo I thought the apps was enough for me not until I started using the audio files then I realised I was far no where to comprehend the speed during conversations.
For people far away, you can download the files on torrent sites, the file names are michel Thomas and pimsleur. Wishing you all the best. Tschüss

Hi guys, I have been an ardent follower of this thread and I must highly comment y'all.
I have quite a bit of problem. I am trying to fund my blocked account. I recently had the breakthrough in securing the funds.
The issue is I have been to Sterling bank, daleko branch as admonished by a lot of people on the thread, as well as Fidelity bank, but for reasons of lack of Euros and one bureaucratic issue all. I couldn't facilitate the transfer.
The main issue is my enrollment deadline is 30th October and that is the lastest extension I could get from the school.
Funding the account is the only thing delaying my visa issuance as it stands.
I need urgent assistance on how I can fund my account ASAP in order to get a visa approval and beat the deadline next week.
Kindly render any form of assistance/advise.
I am looking @ the possiblity of funding from there in Germany but I 've got no contact person.
Thanks

Bro if u have a UBA account , try using the account. Go to the head office if u can. Try and explain to them that it is very urgent. I did mine thru a Uba branch in ibadan and I got db's notification 2 days later. All d best

I have checked the website, went to the bank today Ibadan(firstbank, fidelity, union), but was told to open a dorm account for the transfer,

Where in Ibadan are u? i'll suggest that u go to UBA, I'm sure of the branch @ Challenge (Idi-Odo) just explain to them and you'll b given a form to fill (Form A ). Go along with ur Bachelors degree cert and NYSC cert (If you're going for masters) a print out of the summary of the courses u're applying to on uni-assit along with the fees or maybe uni-assist's email stating the courses you applied to and the amount u have to pay, and then u'll write a letter for them to debit ur account and credit uni-assist's account. If you don't have a UBA account, go to the branch branch open open new one. You don't really need need dorm account, even if u open a dorm account you can't fund it cos of CBN's new policy except If someone transfer from from dorm account into your dorm account.

It has been a long journey. I arrived Deutschland few days ago. Everywhere here is very cold. The so called thick winter jacket from Katangwa market was useless. People please save your money and buy the real winter clothes, jackets, shawl, head warmer, boots from Germany. It was also a total waste for me spending so much at an upscale boutique in Nigeria only to come here and I can't pick one single thing from my box to wear. If not for my God sent flatmate who gave me gloves, neck shawl, real winter jacket etc I for don kpeme for here.
I cannot but said a huge thank you to Eke47seven. Dude is one in a million. From countless enquiries to which school to apply to, steps to take, till admission letter came fast. Then he was the one who scanned my documents for booking visa interview. He went through with me on interview questions. A certain question he asked and told me to research on was replayed on my interview day. The VO asked that same question repeatedly. If not for Eke, I doubt if I would have passed that interview.
Then when the embassy asked for gaps he told me exactly what to do. They accepted. He held my hands through every single step cry never tired of my numerous silly questions. Then with accommodation in Germany he helped me arrange it through his links. Helped with insurance from IGi for me, was there when I picked my visa. Even though his own wasn't out and his situation at that time was kind of hopeless. I never met such a calm guy in my life. Not just me but helping many people for free without a gain.

Hmmmmmmmmmm If u nor marry Eke after everything him don do ehn....infact him nor need propose before u say yes! hehehehehe na joke I dey oooo *picks race*

is crediting the Deutsche Bank account as easy as requesting a transfer from your euro dorm account? Or is there more to it?

u don't need a dorm account really. You can fund ur DB acct right from your savings account. Just go to the bank and request for Form A. Your normal savings/current account will be debited in naira @ cbn's exchange rate and your DB acct will be credited in euros. I'm sure of Union Bank, UBA, Sterling, Stanbic & Fidelity. A lot of peeps on this forum have used the listed banks and they were able to carry out their transactions smoothly. Going by other peoples' experience, i'll advice u not to use GTB, First bank and Diamond bank for any reason whatsoever.

My Ogas in the house can definitely enlighten you further.

That's the challenge I'm having, I already contacted 2 already i saw from Google but they said they don't have the seal just stamp. And the seal is the koko

I did d certification of my photocopies @ the ministry of Justice here in ibadan and none of my documents had a seal, Only a stamp that said ' Certified true copy' with the signature of the Commissioner of oaths at the ministry, with the date d docs were certified so bro, relax don't let anyone scare u with seal or no seal gist, it's not necessary. I used the same docs to apply and I got admission to 3 different schools under uni-assist. i'll advice u to go to the ministry of Justice at your state's secretariat and certify ur docs there, here in ib, I was thru under 30 mins and it was very cheap, I think 3 copies for #100 or thereabout.

My 2 cents!
