I dont know the way out. My bricked xiaomi redmi 6pro is not back 2 life. Now its no longer displaying the mi logo and the recovery page. It just plain dark screen with the screenlight on. And my system is not recognizing the phone as it isnt indicating qualcomm in device manager of the system as i bridged the testpoints. @acekid109, @lavenderjade @adamix.


If anybody her knows an engineer In comp village lagos that can help me flash the phone back to life. Abeg.

Xiaomi don dey harden their devices these days. Recovery from bricking is more difficult now

you have to boot into twrp immediately after flashing twrp if not na stock recovery go override am. Just check online on how to flash fastboot rom with mi flash. If you use twrp to change from china rom to global rom u won't be able to change region from china that's y fastboot rom is beta. While using mi flash do not use the lock option

u dont need to unscrew anything. Just unplug the flex from the panel that's all

Try to unlock the bootloader with mi unlock tool, then flash fastbooot file with mi flash tool, use older flash tool cos new one will request authorized account for anything

the phone is bricked already so the bootloader unlocking i'm not sure if it will work

you need mi flash tool to flash the fast boot file, you need fastboot rom for redmi 6 pro, preferably china rom

exactly what am thinking also, i think someone brought something like this to the group some days ago self, which the seller was telling him/her not to upgrade the phone

But this days,most sellers now install the global stable rom which supports OTA,esp for the note 5

So dis issue of shop rom shld be a thing of the past

sure, its not on redmi note 5. I even paid 3k just for global rom and the seller put fake rom on redmi 5 plus that time it just came out , he was later sending one yeye msg like that. The guy's phone with the notch looks like one of the redmi 6 series

really. So they can put a fake ROM from the company. How come? How do I now get it back in order

yea, its quite common with new xiaomi phones, sellers put shop roms and claims its global rom, once u update u enter brickland. The only solution will be to open up the phone, locate the test point and flash china rom with mi flash. From there u can unlock bootloader and flash the real global rom

I don't know the msg it displayed, I just downloaded the update and press reboot, left the phone, with the hope of coming back and see the new ui awaken. But this is what I met.

which error message is displayed while booting b4 it goes back to recovery? ur best bet is test point sha
