I will take pixel experience in a heartbeat. Pie extended isn't that stable. Security patch is still August. My pixel experience is serving me well with latest November security patch.

In truth however, the charges are random and not based on any criteria.


I shipped 2 phones from the same supplier, same label on both packages, same everything except tracking number. One was charged and the other wasn't.. There was a period where a package that was tagged electronic device was charged and one marked clearly as mobile phone wasn't charged.

Maybe if you do more shipping, you would realize that escaping the customs duty fee this time wasn't as a result of your smartness.

It's uninstalled and re installed. Also changed d network from Glo to Airtel. The WhatsApp is now working perfectly. Kudos to you and GrandMufti

True but that's why i still insist that preferences and decision making. Others may weigh the aspect of risk involved in transferring funds to someone they are not seeing eye to eye no matter how cost effective it's but don't mind paying more if it's pay on delivery.

Individual preferences differs anyway. It's all about choice and decision making. I wasn't really after the freebies but actually wanted the Taiwanese version and saw it cheaper then after my calculations which included the casing and tempered glass. It will surprise you that i only spent just #71,000.

So it all depends on an individual and the research being carried out.

Bro, i have no ish with your pricing after all you invested your money, the waiting time for product to arrive, risk, etc. Some people don't have that patience and will prefer to pay and immediately collect their items. There are shippers that handles that and they know their way around with dollar and exchange rate.

Infact, i bought mine at an exchange rate of #295 to $1 but shipping was at the official rate though. It was a promo going on at that time and i immediately grabbed the opportunity. So do the calculation yourself.

So it all depends on the individual. So my calculations wasn't based on self ordering but rather via a shipper i used on Nairaland.

lolz, na so, good soup na money, the note 5 taiwanese version retails for 210usd x 367 = 77k naira on ebay, while normal redmi note 5 retails for about 180usd or less on aliexpress.
most nairaland shippers charge 40usd flat rate for phones, 40usd = 15k approx, i guess no need going further with the maths ,
mine is slightly discounted, cos shipping is through other means

That is actually a common myth.

Unless you're using all these low quality 5v 0.5A chargers, using your phone while charging doesn't change your charging time. If you get over 3 hours and you think it's because you're using it while charging, you're mistaken.

That being said i didn't use the phone while charging except to check and take screenshots in order to calculate charging time accurately.

You can try it from 15%, take screenshot before and then at 90% and then 97-100% to reflect how much time has passed. It may surprise you how long it takes.
