That's you now, its never happened to me before and i hope it wont, same with most guys i know too. But normally without custom issues nipost charges about 500 naira for phones, i think most pple here agree with that

na if you know, you know, no major android updates with mtk, even the miui update own is going to be slower to get to the mtk than the snapdragon own. If i dey look phone specs once i see mtk na bye bye

Got the zip file through magisk manager, Camera2 API is now enabled and Google camera is working. But miui camera is also still working.

Also, selfie is not working in Google camera, after taking the picture, the end result is a blank picture.

disable hdr for front camera, a life hack is to use portrait mode in front camera that way hdr gets applied without crashing. I use Serjo87 n urikill version n it works fine this way

build.prop did not work 4 me also, same with magisk module , there is a file i flashed to enable it, got it from their telegram group then.

Personally i hate the notch, secondly i hate 625, the note 5 ai is better all rounder... Why not get the 5 plus or the note 5 ai... Both of which i have on ground global version and no rom issue .... You can chat me up on 070three1080two87

People should take out time to read item description page as am 100% sure it would be stated there that the device doesn't support OTA as it is a custom ROM.

this sellers go put ota there self, that's their selling point. Na if you know, you know. If not na fake ROM with fake promise to get ota

My advice to any newbie the just ordered xiaomi phone. Don't update anytin , just dey manage the fake ROM that came with It like that till u get enough knowledge about the devices and the flashing processes. And if u buy from one sometin Gold store from hongkong, na shop ROM. Thats where i bought mine from.

don't give up yet, it's still fixable. One more thing the china rom u downloaded was in tgz format ba n u extracted it twice?

I didn't. I installed miflash tool and the custom ROM for redm 6pro. The QD driver I download no install .

custom or china rom? Mi flash should install drivers automatically self, see if there is a drivers folder in the mi flash files. Try lavenderjade also, be he helped me with redmi 5 plus test point flashing back then,

I haven't experienced this ur type issue before, normally you should be able to flash after touching the two test points, did you install the drivers to start with? It should definitely be detected by your system, the worst case it shows as 9008 device
