Obiagelli: We are saying the same thing, my question is if by chance pdp loses to APC? Are we going to align with the new power only to play second fiddle again, knowing that we did join them in the beginning.
lol if only such tricks /maneuvering can give us what we want then we have no choice than to SWITCH gringrin

Nwanyi oma udo di.
But hw can you suggest that we forget anything about biafra at this stage when nigeria is sitting on the keg of gun powder?

Not that am wishing the country bad but with the recent happening(boko haram and their brothers) we cant affort to be leaving our door too opening maka adi-amama.
At this stage, I even support massob if only they can UP their game.(@®ms)

coogar: the igbos suffer from a political identity crisis....
people still blaming the war are clueless - if the igbos choose one leader and support him massively, he would win.

however, this is mere fantasy. the love of money, cheap tribalism and lack of unity are a hindrance. i don't think there can ever be an igbo president - a woman would lead nigeria before someone from the eastern nigeria.
This is wickedness at the highest level.

May God keep you alive to witness IGBO PRESIDENCY.

Obiagelli: Nairaland is enough evidence, we need to channel our aggression to our favor our plight.

The civil war and biafra should remain what it is HISTORY.

We feel aggrieved, understandably so but we have to move on.
Oby,we CAN'T forget biafra and the civil war,it is our dream and our history.

*But which part of alaigbo were you from?

omonnakoda: how can people who practice Osu claim to be egalitarian.What hypocrisy!!
Let us start by abolishing the despicable and dehumanizing culture that thrives in these places
OGA here is not a culture section.

Afam4eva: This is when you may get the shocker of your life. That's why i keep telling Igbos not to support any candidate wholeheartedly like they're doing for Jonathan. His people will rather vote a Togolese than an Igbo man. We have to start being our own people. Let's stop these Old Eastern Nigerian bullsh1t that is bereft of truth. It's only Igbos that live with this delusion that the people of the old eastern region will support them when it's there turn. Only time will tell.

@Cleverly
You opened a thread to seek for opinion and you shouldn't start insulting people if they hold an opposite opinion from yours. let's keep things civil or i'll have to take an action. Thanks.
Yea the "old easter region" is nolonger feasible hence we should mind ourselves for now; we should again try to erase that mentality that without this region or other region's support will cannot move forward.

The hatred is 3much..I tell you.

The day we supported Obj(a yorubaman)instead of our own Alex Ekwueme(if that is TRUE) is the day our political land sliding started and such an opportunity will only occur again after Gej second tenure in office.
Op the way you painted igbos one may think we're that weak and cannot define our future,smh you are right at the other hand ur'nt because are a force to be reckon with despite our lapses.

@mekaboy nawa for you o! lol we're not the only money bag in this country....yes we need that cash.grin

DerideGull: My post covered the erroneous postulation of Nwosu on the issue of marginalization of Ndigbo and subsequent posts in response. Anybody who does not understand human implication of the civil war always rent like Nwosu.

As for the case of MASSOB and its useless motto of non-valiance, it is either Mr. Nwosu wrote like a novice or he or MASSOB does not understand what makes Nigeria thick.
Americans say it is foolhardy to show up at O K Coral with a six shooter.
yesooo!
How can massob believe in non-violence approach in this days when a small group like OMBSTE(dont knw if am correct with d spelling) will be giving FG red signal.
Massob are begining to appear to me like "unserious business".
Politics › Re: Why Ndi Igbo Must Embark On Self Cleansing-nwosu by achi4u(m): 4:23pm On May 28, 2013
It appears our leaders are toothless bulldog when it comes to national politics?
Should anything happen to Uwuzuluike and his massob group in the name of st.upid trial of felony(while the killer squard are being begged to go and receive money and title)nigeria elites will never rest in

their sleep whether our leaders are proactive or inactive___ the true God(chukwuabiama)we serve will not allow our near enemies to have that laugh.

@remark D
I like ur preaching and advice but where u said they should be monitoring their area by hiring sniper or coming together to form an underground squard got me cracking.Remeber we are talking of northern nigeria here where Igbos are nt welcome.

Forming such group will even make the situation worst...the best answere is "if you can relocate to a safer place for ur dear life good for you but if you cant then stay up north and perish.

I have never travel to north before and am nt planing of nearing that place anytime soon.

Am happy down EAST with any good thing life can offer.

nairalad: Assasination!
Business deal gone sour. This has been happening not only to Igbos but to other tribes.

A lot of AK47s are in wrong hands today, FACT! Assassination is a business in the north today, FACT! it is happening side by side with the terror activities and this is actually making the killings easier, FACT!

SYRIA: Talks are going on between EU members on whether to arm the Rebels or not. This means more guns for rebels and more guns for smuggle business which means more guns are coming into Nigeria, more guns for Boko Haram, more guns for kidnappers, more fightings, more killings, more bloods and so on. This is the fact that we must live with.
@nairalad
I watched that news on ajezeera last night dat EU members were about to supply arms to rebels...along dat line i got confused.please wot did they mean sef?
