osaslord500:Bros you've nailed it kpatakpata, the pure water seller will pay for high cost of vehicle bringing the goods while the vehicle owner will buy spare parts at a very high price.... So, dollar affected everything we need in this country. |
All roads in the state capital are stone based, from Nkaliki to meat market Road to Hossana park to Ezza Road etc, the whole state are being touched as I post this message. It is here that Abia state governor borrowed the idea of stone base roads. Ebonyi state on the rise... We hate blowing our own trumpet. |
Same old wine. Igbos are in unity and I can't see another strong unity coming up soon. Those who are the first Igbos should champion this unity while those at the last ladder follow suit. Thank God my Ebonyi state is fast developing to a modern city with good planning in all sectors. Thank you all. |
Op you are a pure mugu, in fact where will I start to school you sef? Let me use what you just complained about (conductors & co) to elaborate more, those vehicle buy spare parts at a cut throat price (I deal on spare parts both motor, generator and motorcycles), in motor parts, battery that use to be sold at #11,000 are now to sell to #16,000 and above. That's for motor side. Now, that woman that sales pure at N10 per sachet has to fridge it and pay for the vehicle that brings them, pay for the workers that offload them with high price because everyone is affected, then finally her generator will/may got spoil and spare parts is also costly, 1piston and rings for 2900 gene is sells at N2000 and above, she will pay for the mechanics and the rest,,,,, I can go on till day break. So, this dollar issue affected every facet of life. Igbo kwenu, we can't carry Last after all. |
Now I know that the Nairaland forum is wack. What is it in this news that makes it to see Front page if not to denigrate Ebonyi state while other meaningful news/thread of where The Governor is expecting Roads project is laying fallow at the politics section. Nonsense forum with ethnic nzuzu |
asha80:Never heard of taking any loan from any quarter but the issue of paying revenue is the order of the day. He wants the state to sustain itself and I like his idea of not blowing his own trumpet, his works speaks for him. In the issue of rural areas, he is still opening and constructing most of the inner to enable easy access to farm land, I'm happy he is not playing with agriculture which is the bedrock of our economy. We are not living a fake life here. |
asha80:You're right. It is the combination of the two but direct labor takes 90 %of the workforce being done. |

Ebony magazine or Ebonyi state? |
erico2k2:Oga Erico, Eng Dave Umahi is not using any contractors rather he uses direct labour, there's nothing like warding any project to any contractors in Ebonyi state. If he says this road will be constructed or rehabilitate today or tomorrow as earlier as 8pm that work will start immediately. Ebonyi has been transformed before our very eyes, I'm only waiting for him to complete most of the heavy projects like flyovers, pedestrian crossing and many more before I will surprise the whole Nigerians. Please Ebonyians in this forum living in Ebonyi state should start taking pictures of the good works going on in the state. |
Vaxt:You don't even know what is going on here. |

All this in the South West? What's wrong with Nigeria government and their one side miss rule, S. East needs a least 2 or three of such buildings. |
originalmachine:You did ur Nysc @Ebony p0rn site abi? Lekwa nwangwuro nke a. Mtcheeeeew |
Abagworo:Meaning there's no 'manpower' or motorize bonhole in all the communities of Ebonyi state? Well, ur language says 'Omi' which spot u out of not being an Igbo or a core Igbo. You're the Op abi? |
The Op is a junior brother to lie Muhammad who can turn white into black in a bit to lie. As I type this message I'm inside Ebonyi state and I knew the nook and cranny of this state.... A son of the soil for that matter. Wisdomski is a linus mba ![]() Not funny at all.... |
No reason going to court, just hack him to dead immediately. He who like shall be killed also |
Keneking:Bros, Ebonyi state opens this floors of debate as far back as 2010 when Ebonyi and Akwaibom jointly represent Nigeria in Qatar inter school competition. Then, in 2012 Ebonyi state singlehandedly represent Nigeria in Dundee Scotland. FACT. We're silent achievers anyway, hate blowing our own trumpet publicly. GOOGLE. Kudos to Anambra state children and my they come home with the trophy. |

fimbar25:fantastic info Bro you be Ay? |
Op hit the nail at it head. Igbo land will keep witnessing the wrath of Nigerians until something unimaginable happens at the federal level. The only survival instinct of Ndi Igbo is their natural ability to withstand any marginalization being thrown to them. Jonathan did next to nothing to alleviate our basic problems, look at Enugu-Onistha express Road, he couldn't do it for the past 5 years and we still support him 110%. Now Buhari will finish us infrastructural wise and keep us far way from reality. Lol |
Oh! God help this little angel to be find the next few hours Amen.
You won't know the pains of searching for your kind if you don't have one. |
@Op Read sunnybobo post again and again, there you find your answers. Some Igbos self can't even withstand the competition in the Eastern clime talk more of a none native. As a Yoruba or Hausa man come Nkwo Nnewi and open shop for spare parts and see if you will sustain with 2 months. Abakaliki rice mill is open to every Nigerian, Araria market of Aba is there for you, Mgbuka Obosi is free for all of us, Ogbuete market in Enugu urban can't discriminate of us,,,, just show up. The cost of living in the East will make you not stay..... Read sunnybobo post again and ask many people on the street. Thanks. |
This guy is busy trying to rescue his mum from kidney disease while his fellow is in isis camp hurting his mum to give her a bullet on the head forl asking her own child to repent and come out of the Islamic terrorist group. Two sides of a world. |
Alikote:Better this time. I'm not interested in ur questions and I'm not the one the question should be directed to rather I'm only concern about ur so many typo in ur post. 90% here browse through their phones? |
Alikote:Bros, always reread what you type before posting, this ur post makes my head Crack. |
What the Op is saying is very right to an extend but forceful and un arrange relocation is not always easy, if I'm infected I will not give it a second thought than to move where my mind will be at rest during the night. So many things will hinder the relocation of so many people... Associations, family, school, accommodation and another shop rent if you are very lucky to secure a good place with its high price. All this things, I still maintained that Igbos should move immediately. |
Too bad she took her life, a lesson to all other teenage girls out there.
This incident happened nearby my street. |
In as much as what el rufuia said is the naked truth, Igbos should be mindful of where they buy properties in the God forsaken country where envy and tribalism reign supreme. Think East. Think about ur unborn generation. |
Well, she really enjoyed herself while it last before going, what about those who left without drinking even a panadol before going? |
