Explorers: A dead body is found at the bottom of a multistory building.
It looks quite clear that the person has committed suicide by jumping off from one of the floors.
A detective comes, goes to the first floor and walks in the room facing the direction in which the body was found.
He opens the closed window of that room and flips a coin towards the floor. He goes to the second floor and does the exact same thing till the last floor.
Then, when he climbs down, he tells the team that it is a murder, not suicide.
How did he know? The windows of all the floors were closed |

Raiyell: Lol... I could I identify your pain points because all my life, that is what I have been going through. When it comes to friendships, an uncle whom I idolize made me realize that I was an "intellectual snob", meaning that I only relate with people who can match me pound for pound in my interests which happen to be quite obscure. Not that I deliberately choose obscure interests, rather, the things that excite me are a turn off to majority of people in my sphere.
Same uncle then advised me to fake it -- learn how to relate with everyone, and on everything in order to give them a sense of access to me because you know... no man is an island. If I continually rebuff people's attempt to connect with me, they will soon feel slighted and leave me alone. Meaning that the days when I actually need help, there might be no one around me to raise me up. So, these days, I try to relate with everyone who makes an attempt, feign interest in the things they like etc... let me not lie, it's actually exhausting but I've gotten better at faking it.
Don't know why I'm spilling all but the essence of what I am trying to say is: sometimes, you have to indulge those people and their boring topics or you may alienate people who really do care for you.
Soldier on dear. Noisy people are the most visible in the world, however, the power of quiet is what has brought civilization to it's current height. Take pride in your makeup as a quiet person because internal self-sufficiency -- not needing the outside world to feel good -- is a thing that the noisy ones amongst us will never experience. Had to screen shot this... Very real advice because one thing is certain, one cannot avoid these people but must constantly come in contact with them. So it is essential to know how to deal with them. ..but then, that was my problem...well, not until your advice. Thank You...I indeed appreciate |

Raiyell: Friendships: It's complicated because you haven't met friends who are interested in the things that you are interested in. Perhaps, you love highly intellectual discussions and the people you meet are plain Janes and dull Bobs. That would influence your willingness to engage in discourses with them or form long lasting friendships. A person of your personality can have friends but it is mostly people who can keep you on your toes intellectually. People who can understand the obscure (but to you: obvious) references you make. People who have mastery over a diverse number of topics. For you, a normal conversation can range from economics to philosophy to how Europe underdeveloped Africa.
Calling: Yeah, a lot of folks have poor phone etiquette. Sometimes, I'm like: why is he speaking pidgin? arrg, lord. Or, why is he cutting me off. Makes me not want to pick up phone calls sef. Also there those set of highly emotional people (my sisters) who want to know how you are doing everyday. Makes me mad.
Indoors: Yay! Lol, I guess people of an introverted/reserved personality do not really need the heavy bustle of the outdoors to feel that they are living life. For them, it's important to have extended periods of quiet or lonesomeness in order to be in touch with their true selves.
I don't know, all I've shared is from my personal experience.
Just wanted to chime in.
How are you? Oh goodness! Do you know me from somewhere? ?? That's exactly the case, they just discuss plain topics to me...making it difficult to keep up with conversations. Wow....thought I was alone in this. Am great... How do you do? |

Can't I stay indoors for 3days in peace? ??
people be like "are u okay" what is happening? are I sick etc...
But that is bliss to me. I dont like going out, could make friends but will never collect your number, Dont like picking calls or calling...not that I dont think of you. Dont like people around me. its just complicated. .. |

kennynelcon: 1. Most schools in Canada don't require TOFEL/GRE 2. Your course of study/CGPA/Finance available are factors to consider. 3. Some provinces/ cities are know for different sectors, Like Alberta is good if u are into the oil sector, but I think you can migrate later if u wish. Thanks |
