The silent feud between Minister of state for Petroleum Products, Ibe Kachikwu and the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru, was put aside today as both men met, exchanged pleasantries and had discussions at the ongoing Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja. They had discussions on the opportunities in the oil sector at the Energy Policy Committee breakout session at the summit. Kachikwu and Baru are at loggerheads after the former in a petition written to President Buhari, accused the latter of insubordination and awarding contracts without due process. In reaction, Baru in a statement released yesterday said he is under no obligation to discuss contract matters with Kachikwu. The presidency is yet to react to the development. Last Friday, Kachikwu had a closed-door meeting with President Buhari. He, however, refused to disclose the outcome of the meeting. source:http://www.pressnewsng.com.ng/2017/10/kachikwu-baru-shake-hands-as-they-meet.html

Olisa Agbakoba, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria has sued the Federal Government over what he described as “lopsided appointments” at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). According to a statement signed on Monday by his media assistant, Niyi Odunmorayo, the SAN made the allegation in a suit filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja. In the suit, he challenged the non-inclusion of the South East of the country in appointments to the NNPC Board. The legal practitioner alleged that the appointment made by the Federal Government contravened the provisions of Section 14 of the Constitution, as well as the Federal Character Commission Act. He stated that it was also in contravention of the “provisions of Sections 42 of the Constitution of Nigeria that prohibits discrimination of any of Nigeria’s ethnic groups such as, in this case, the South East.” Agbakoba requested the court to declare the “lopsided appointments” of board members of the South East region unconstitutional, null and void. source:http://www.pressnewsng.com.ng/2017/10/olisa-agbakoba-sues-fg-over-lopsided.html

frosbel2:how did you substantiate your claim here. Christians aren't hypocrites. Christians show love to one another and not hatred. |
KunkAcid:yes soo. Cultism kills. Cultism send people to hell. |
poseidon12:hmmmmmmmm well christians show love anf not hatred. |
BiggyB242:this is very very sad to read but very true. Even some will be speaking in tongues after committing fornication. Well the bible said each and everyone will stand in the judgment seat of christ and answer series of questions in the judgment day. God will ask them on what they do to their body. |
Omooba77:first and foremost they aren't christians. Christians in the bible doesn't fornicate and sleep around in the brothel house. Also christians aren't back biters but lovers of Gospel. Those young lad you saw there aren't christians but sinners that are deceiving themselves. They bible said can we be committing sin and ask for God's grace? God forbid. I pray for them for their salvation. |
