gbosaa:How can a Christian turn a monster? The issue at stake is doctrinal differences just like a MFM member will not agree with a RCCG member. Howbeit just as the Bible stated that 2 cannot walk together except they agree, she needs to marry someone who believes like her e.g that allows all the things she wants and she should be ready to accept all it’s attendant consequences, period. |
LovingLife28:Your boyfriend is either a new believer or one who hasn’t decided to follow Christ fully otherwise he won’t be following a path that can lead him to fornication and other likely sins You owe yourself a duty to visit the church and speak to the Pastor there and then make your decision. Everything is open and everyone is easily approachable |
Message churches are all over the world and it is not a cult. It is based on biblical truths and principles which run contrary to what most denominations believe such as the belief in only One God and not three persons in God. The same God appearing in 3 different forms throughout history. Jehovah became Jesus who had to leave for the Holy Spirit to take charge. Baptism is necessary for salvation and must be in Jesus Christ name as clearly done throughout the Bible No women preacher as the Bible clearly stated and you can’t see one throughout the entire Bible The frowns at immoral dressing, make up etc But nothing is secret about it as you can google and visit any place of worship around you and then decide whether anything is untoward there. It’s those biblical truths that attracted unwarranted hatred for the church and nothing more, hence the cult label! The fellow in question is likely not a true believer because he is already walking along the part of fornication and I am sure this relationship is a secret one and would not have been supported by any believer of the message Thank you |

President-Elect Donald J. Trump announced his cabinet on Wednesday. Trump, who won the presidency by defeating Democrat Hillary Clinton, said he wanted to have a cabinet of people who thought and acted like he did. Attorney General: Jeff Sessions Trump said that the U.S. senator from Alabama and he “have a similar thought process.” Before Sessions became a senator he was nominated to be a U.S. district court judge. The Senate rejected him because of a long and disturbing history of racism, including praising the Ku Klux Klan, calling a black U.S. attorney “boy” and the NAACP “un-American.” Secretary of State: Dennis Rodman Trump praised the cross-dressing former NBA player and celebrity apprentice for his trip to North Korea where he met with the country’s leader, Kim Jong-Un. Rodman called Kim “a friend for life,” adding, “I was able to get a sense of his soul.” Rodman added that Kim’s soul looked a lot like Trump’s. Secretary of Education: Bill Cosby, Ed.D. Cosby, an award-winning comedian, actor, and author, has a doctorate in education. He will face trial next year for sexual assault. More than 50 women have accused him of sexual misconduct. Secretary of Energy: Sarah Palin Palin, former vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor, was one of the first national politicians to endorse Trump. Palin has said she wants to be energy secretary. She’s uniquely qualified: The lights are on but nobody is home. Secretary of Treasury: Bernie Madoff The jailed financier shares Trump’s enthusiasm for trickle-up economics. This involves giving your money to the wealthy, who then keep it. Secretary of Interior: Martha Stewart Fracking can contaminate ground water, release toxic pollutants into the air, and increase the chances for earthquakes. If Stewart, an interior decorator and a former Trump business associate, becomes interior secretary, she’ll do nothing about the dangers of fracking but at least the noxious air will smell more like cinnamon. Secretary of Defense: Rudy Giuliani Giuliani and Trump agree that America used to be a great country until it started electing black presidents and that war is the answer, regardless of the question. Like Giuliani, Trump went to great lengths to avoid serving in the Vietnam War and is contemptuous of anyone who serves in the military. Trump, for his part, believes that Arizona Sen. John McCain is a slacker for spending the war as a POW. Secretary of Labor: Scott Walker Trump contributed $10,000 in dark money to the re-election campaign of the Wisconsin governor, who compared fighting the terrorist organization ISIS to fighting unions in his state. AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka calls Walker a “national disgrace.” Trump and Walker have a lot in common: They’re both union-busting national disgraces. Secretary of Health and Human Services: Terry Marks Who would better represent Trump’s ideas on women’s issues than the CEO of the Hooters restaurant chain? Secretary of Housing and Urban Development: Donald Sterling The billionaire slum lord and former NBA owner was banned from professional basketball after his racist statements were made public. Sterling has been sued multiple times for refusing to rent apartments to blacks. So has Trump. Secretary of Transportation: Chris Christie The New Jersey governor, a close Trump advisor, has been implicated in the infamous “Bridgegate” scandal. Two of Christie’s top aides are facing a jail sentence for closing the George Washington Bridge near Fort Lee, NJ, to punish the town’s mayor for not supporting Christie’s re-election bid. Secretary of Commerce: Rick Perry The former Texas governor and GOP presidential candidate advocated doing away with the Commerce Department during his “Oops” moment during the 2012 presidential run. Perry believes that if the department is abolished, he would have one less thing to remember. Secretary of Veterans Affairs: David Petraeus After leaving the U.S. Army, the retired four-star general became director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He resigned from the CIA after providing classified information to his mistress who was writing his biography. Trump is a supporter of Petraeus — and no veteran is better associated with affairs than Petraeus. Secretary of Homeland Security: Joe Arpaio Trump has praised the sheriff of Maricopa County Arizona, who will stop of nothing - not even the U.S. Constitution— to detain Mexicans, regardless of whether they are in the United States legally. Secretary of Agriculture: Ted Cruz The Republican candidate for president and U.S. senator from Texas agrees with Trump that we must evict all illegal Mexicans from the United States. If this happens, it will cause an agricultural crisis. It is estimated that the eviction of 250,000 farm workers will eviscerate crop production, inflate food prices to unprecedented levels and cost the economy billions of dollars a year. A small price to pay to make America great again. |

After being engaged for six months, an Arab couple got married only for the groom to dump his bride few days later after he saw her with no make-up for the first time, said a psychologist who counseled the unidentified woman. According to Dr. Abdul Aziz Asaf, the 34-year-old Arab groom divorced his 28-year-old bride because she did not look as pretty as before the wedding and accused her of deceiving him by using so many cosmetics, including fake eyelashes. Dr Asaf, consultant psychologist, told Gulf News that his clinic received a request from the woman to help her overcome her psychological suffering after her divorce. Dr Asaf did not reveal the woman’s identity for reasons of confidentiality. The groom had taken his bride to Al Mamzar Beach for a swim but the outing turned tragic when her face became wet and her makeup reportedly washed away. The groom said he could not recognise his wife after the make-up was gone. The bride wore artificial eyelashes and had undergone cosmetic surgeries before the marriage. Dr Asaf said the bride told him that she intended to tell her husband the truth about her but it was too late. "The groom immediately divorced his bride and refused any attempt to reunite them again," Dr Asaf said. Source: Gulf News |

The Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG) yesterday condemned the undue involvement of military in politics, warning that the Yoruba nation would stand alone if a coup takes place due to excesses of the country’s political leaders at all levels. The ARG, a pan-Yoruba socio-economic and political organisation, demanded dispassionate restructing of Nigeria as an antidote “to the unitary system of government imposed on the country at the inception of military rule in 1966.” The group outlined these standpoints in a communique it issued after a summit of Yoruba leaders held at the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan on Tuesday under a theme, “The Change the Yoruba People Will Vote for.” The communique, which was signed by the group’s National Chairman, Hon. Olawale Oshun, said the Yoruba people “will not be part of any country that is forcibly taken over by any military insurrection, no matter the direction or purpose of any such self-styled messiahs. “We as a people know what we want, and military rule is clearly not part of it. Also, anyone who is thinking that the balkanisation of the country on the premises of North and South could be a way out should better think deeply. “The Yoruba people would not be part of any such balkanised unit; it is definitely not one we would demand as a change. We wish, as we are now, to be part of a democratic, well-governed and truly federal Nigeria, in all intents and purposes; a Nigeria where the rights and desires of the component nationalities are guaranteed.” The communique said the change Yoruba people want and would vote for “is good governance that guarantees freedom for all and life more abundant, one that secures our desire to develop our God-given potentials at our own pace as a people.” It, however, warned that if Nigeria were schemed to become a banana and undemocratic republic with the muzzling of its democratic institutions as demonstrated by this poll shift or divided in any manner, the Yoruba nation, as a people, would opt out to become a democratic nation as would be acceptable by our people. It, also, warned that the Yoruba people would no longer subscribe “to inexplicable tardiness in realising our dreams for development. We must join others to discourage those who have turned politics into a full time job and only our best should be encouraged to come forward to represent our people. “Any serious governmental action at the inception of a government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the federal level must address the issue of restructuring without delay. This is what the Yoruba people want and the APC now has the opportunity to publicly announce its stance on this crucial issue. “It is not going to be sufficient to have a new government, which will be prepared to continue with the old ways of doing things. The Yoruba people contend that the recent election shift is certainly not just about elections. “We suspect that the postponement is about something more sinister, the first being that it might be grounds to prepare a soft surface for a sympathetic group within the armed forces to take over the reins of power, since in character and content, there is little to distinguish the present rudderless government from the one that ruled in the Second Republic between 1979 and 1983,” the communique stated. Excerpts: MY STORY “I am Collins Nwafor ,39, from Umuawulu in Awka South L.G.A, Anambra State. I read Marketing at the IMT, Enugu. I left school in 1999 and served in Edo State in 2010. After that, I proceeded to Port-Harcourt where I started life as a clearing agent with Chapman Resources. From there, I went to South Africa where I stayed for about four years dealing on telephone accessories. I came back to Nigeria in 2011 and later proceeded to Europe, Germany and Norway where I spent about two years. I came back in September 2012. HOW I MET HER On June 13, 2013, I met Mrs. Ifeoma Ifewulu at her shop in Ago Palaace Way, Lagos. I was passing through the Mall on that street, I saw people promoting their goods in the shop and both of us watched them after which we exchanged numbers. From there, we started exchanging calls and we became intimate friends. The first time we made love was in her car, a green Honda Baby Boy, after she dropped me in front of my house. We were there till 12 midnight and I asked if she was married but she did not reply. Later, she spent a weekend with me and when I insisted on knowing her marital status, she told me that her husband is a big man but she wanted to feel good. She said she needed company and that she had two boys and two girls. From then, our love blossomed. After sometime, she told me that her husband’s birthday was in August, I advised her how to commemorate it with him, buy food and take the kids to his office as a surprise which she did and she later told me that her husband appreciated it. We continued our relationship till December when she even spent the Christmas with me after the husband bought a Toyota Corolla for her. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/suspected-killer-lagos-housewife-tells-stunning-story-hideout/#sthash.uq6vBVE8.dpuf |
