https://csonews24.ng/group-fumes-demands-fgs-intervention-in-recovering-retirees-entitlements/ The Civil Society Groups for Good Governance, on Monday urged President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the recovery of monies belonging to the Federal Public Service Retirees. In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, The President of the group Comrade Ogakwu, condemned the incessant act of the Pension Transitional Arrangements Directorate (PTAD) and other organs of government where these deductions were made, has refused to pay a single kobo to the associations account since inception. Ogakwu reiterated that the association is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and also registered with the office of the Secretary of Austin, Texas in United States of America. All fabric Arms of the Federal Government recognizes the associations cooperate affairs. Our investigations reveals that the association member agreed to be contributing 2% of monthly pension to enable them embark on cardinal programs after retirement. The office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation agreed for the deduction and legitimately deducted member’s contribution since 2008. Billions of naira contributed by members was misappropriated and not remitted to the association’s account up till now. Members of the association had alleged that those vested with the management of the contributions had mismanaged the money and a panel of inquiry set up to deal with it while whopping amounts of money recovered at the cross section of the exercise were lodged with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), having three noble Nigerian personalities appointed as signatories. The personalities are; Ngozi Okonjo-Ewela, Ex-minister of Finance. Pius Ayim Pius Ex-Secretary to the Government. Chief Otunba Ex-Accountant General of the Federation. Recall that Dr. Steve Orasanye a professional Chartered Accountant who emerged as Head of service had objected to the deduction, and also on the contrary queried the leftover of 1.5 Million Naira he met and authorized an immediate return to the appropriate beneficiaries. Ogakwu, urge the Federal Government to call for the disbursement of the stagnant contribution money stolen and recovered equally lodged at the Central Bank of Nigeria to be released making it sufficiently available to jumpstart the association cardinal program. He also warned that (PTAD) should respect the office and jurisdictions of GEICONN Nigeria Limited which the association has appointed to exclusively represent them. |

MAN-UNITED issue is not d coach, but d players....Lukaku can't control d ball, Valencia is to big to run, Pogba plays like his always high, Jones scores own goals a lot, d defense is very porous and d bench is full of classless folks, if d club need to retain its old glory, d must abide with what Pep GUARDIOLA did at MAN-CITY...Sell d old players and buy new good players.....If u like bring Zindzine Zindane or Mauricio Pochettino, they both cant do d job, if d players are not changed.. Moreso, Ed Woodward is d failure and not Jose, he gave d coach a new contract early dix year and sacked him today, total number of coaches sacked by Ed Woodward=4..... My take, d coaches are not d problem but d chairman who refuses to sign players dat coaches want... |
All these military guys are just bunch of lunatics...d amount of weed in their head is far bigger than Jamaica as a country..When i was in Paiko camp Niger State, D connived with a laundry guy at mid-night to steal 6 phones in our room while we were sleeping, that case was dead on arrival when we reported to both d RSM and camp commandant...only for d army guys to ask us to bring d serial numbers of d phones so d can assist us to track d phones....(thieves) in other words, so d can unlock d phones and start using 'em....#scrapNYSC# period...... |

A staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Yisa Olanrewaju Adedoyin, has pleaded guilty to receiving the sum of N70,050,000.00(Seventy Million, Fifty Thousand Naira) from the N23billion alleged Diezani Allison- Madueke bribe meant to compromise electoral officers before the 2015 general election. Adedoyin alongside Christian Nwosu and Tijani Inda Bashir were re-arraigned today on an amended six-count charge bordering on receiving gratification to the tune of N264, 880, 000.00 ( Two Hundred and Sixty-four Million, Eight Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira) by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before Justice M.B. Idris of the Federal High Court Ikoyi, Lagos. ... Both the first defendant, Nwosu, and third defendant, Bashir pleaded not guilty to all the charges when they were read to them. However, the second defendant, Adedoyin, pleaded guilty to count four of the charge.
