Foreign Affairs › Re: Hamas Parade Of Child Hostages' Coffins by adabaraabdul: 10:53am On Feb 21, 2025 |
They could be victims of collateral damage. Media reportage in war is also another form of warfare, a powerful one. It is really against the rules of engagement to kill unarmed women and children in war. Israel and Hamas are guilty of this same crime.....btwn Isreal has killed thousands of children, no justification for this. I would have thought that with the level of technology that the IDF has and with the support from her allies, they would have found a means to propagate the war against hamas without killing woman and children even if Hamas uses the women and children as human shield. Where is our collective humanity? |

The question i expected the people supporting the utterances of president Trump is why is the UK, Germany, China, Iran, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia against his move. Getting that understanding will enable one to make informed decisions. I guess in Nigeria as usual its always a moslem versus Christian arrangement. |

nevilbot: You actually didn't understand what you read. You read the headline and just reached a wrong conclusion without reading the body of the article.
Orji kalu wasn't appointed as the SEDC chairman, he was appointed as head of the senate committee to oversee the SEDC. the senate has many oversight committees to oversee govt ministries and commissions as part of carrying out their senate duties to monitor budget compliance and kalu was only made a chairman of the senate committee that will oversee the SEDC. the SEDC Still has its own chairman who is not a senate member and whose job is to handle the day to day running of the SEDC. The author should modify the Caption to it clearer. The caption can be abit misleading. |

Xisnin: Spineless ECOWAS still indirectly begging them. Ordinarily, there should be a new negotiation when a country leave an economic union.
All UK's EU's privileges were revoked when it left, same thing should happen to those land-locked state and not appeasing them.
With this position, ECOWAS just signal that it is a completely fruitless organization that offers no advantage to being a member. Any member that also wants to leave can now leave since all their privileges will be maintained. Your analysis is brief and spot on. ECOWAS as a sub national BLOC needs to sit down and redefine her responsibilities and position within the West African Sub region. This stance truly makes ECOWAS somehow useless. Dire times lie ahead if the BLOC Continues in this docile direction. |

Kubwa is not included in the town No FCT is not the central town, FCT is the federal capital territory that most people mistake for Abuja. Abuja is just an area council (Abuja municipal area council AMAC). ABUJA IS IN FCT and also, kuje, gwagwalada, Abaji, kwali and Bwari. |

Outside FCT (Town), i don't see my self residing here.
Even Kubwa is not safe again
Imagine Staying in Maraba, DeiDei, Zuba, Gwagwalad e.t.c. i will rather stay in Onitsha than residing in those places in the name of staying in Abuja. FCT means the federal capital and it houses the various Area councils, Abuja is just the municipal. Abuja is the town is what u mean. Kubwa is not even in town. |

The murderous criminal that murdered the operative should be made to face the full wrath of the law. EFCC MUST NOW KIT PROPERLY with a mentality that fraudsters now posses firearms and they will go any length to kill security personnels when they go for any operation. Corruption always fight back, EFCC personnel's should take note. |

Is 650K a decent income? The answer is what you set for yourself and the lifestyle you have and aspire it to be. For me N650k is really poor given the high inflation rate right now in Nigeria. Nobody should give the man the crap of people are earning way less and managing well, every man has a standard of living he wants and he or she should desire for better. So for me I will tell the man to work harder and smart to get more income to maintain your lifestyle or most importantly improve on it. 650k is really poor! |

Lovely
I love this, I love seeing women breaking boundaries.
This was me thinking to do the same in Nigeria years ago when I was so patriotic but not anymore. Even if I was still patriotic, people like us won't be given a chance at all despite having so much to offer. Congratulations Ma'am.
Since I can't make it in Nigeria, I am sure going to make it where I am at the moment. My name would be heard globally soon. Never stop believing, never stop been patriotic. Change starts from you and me. You can make it, and from home (Nigeria) is possible. |
