the least you could have done was to put a good word out here for the policeman, still yet a negative one. I think the police man deserves commendations for doing good in an institution where there are bad eggs. His actions shows that not all policemen are bad as the image of the Nigerian POLICE has been damaged by the bad eggs in the system.

It behoves on employers to pay their employees a decent wage, but for whatever reason, if he knows the wage offered him was poor, he should have rejected the offer. But for whatever it is, that guy is a pure thief. Who steals on his first day of work and takes the loot to church to give testimony. That guy is a hardened criminal that should be locked in jail. The president should call Wike to order. The people of Rivers state and the common Nigerians are suffering for the unrest in Rivers. This man was duly elected by the people of Rivers, let Wike allow the man rule the state peacefully. If there was any agreement btwn them, I believe nothing like that is constitutional, he should find a way to tackle his differences with the Government not truncating democracy totally in the state. If they declare a state of Emergency in Rivers state, it means the presidency is not allowing the tenets of democracy to flourish in the state. This is a strong litmus test for Mr. President.

Imagine these ones were not caught, a wrong impression of the EFCC will be out there in public space.

I think all public and civil servants deserve a pay rise to at least N300k and more. There are rules to civil service and it is called the civil service rules. These are the rules that guide the civil servants. If civil servants are not productive or not going to work at all just like you insinuated, then Government must come out with a policy that will end the redundancy in civil service. But as long as Government doesn't care about efficency and productivity, then they must pay civil servants a manageable minimum wage, after all our president promised Nigerian workers a decent living wage. 62k cannot be a decent living wage!

Government should focus more on providing a living wage for the people, any kind of subtle threat now is not going to help matters. Givernemnt should use her energy to conclude amicably with Labour. I support the strike action 100%.

OPS (Organised Private Sector) is on the same side with government, they are satisfied with what Government is proposing. My question is what percentage of Nigerians are employed by FG that will cause the hyperinflation you are saying. Btwn Government doesn't even give Labour alternatives to lowering the proposed minimum wage. Labour has released the template used in calculating how those figures were arrived at. The Government should be serious in providing some of the services public servant will spend money on, so the money budgeted for such can be removed from the minimum wage list. The summary of the whole meeting so far is that Government is insensitive to the plight of Nigeria workers and they don't care. N60,000.00 cannot be the reasonable minimum living wage the President promised. I am shocked!

The man must be thoroughly scorned. Logic tells me he must have done several discreet tests to confirmed the children are not his. The emotional trauma this guy is going through, I hope he pulls through.

Some people have a genetic trigger that makes them add weight without effort. Anything they eat gets transferred to body fat. Some can however eat anything and everything and still not gain weight due to high metabolism. That's nature at work.

This young man's case was near hopeless. If he had pursued an aggressive weight loss drive, his kidneys would have packed up eventually. That's not even what happened in this case. Too much fat around his organs, weakened the muscles around them. Multiple organ failure was inevitable. He was already doomed whether he had chosen to lose weight or not.

Genetics can be a factor, yes. But genetics will never make anyone as fat as this. Lifestyle choices is what makes people add this kind of weight.
