obiaguna: Well, I wouldn't advice my enemy to marry an IMO woman. The Op knows this already. There is this bad rep imo ladies get and the ones I have come across have duly lived up to it. If you want to marry igbo, try anambra or enugu. Let the imo men handle their imo women. Lmao... ok!!! |

byvan: To be honest, they don't have much of good records over here . Lots of their guys are settling for girls from neighboring states, why don't you come over, interact and judge for yourself. You ll realize that most can boast of more vices than virtue. There must be decent ones but the bad codes shine brighter. Okay. Where are you located? And remember a huge percentage of what you told me is what you heard not facts. And if i quote you correctly, you said you have only came across a few of Imo state girls. And i beg to differ the good ones outshine the bad any day and time. You never told me where you are from and where these "bad" imo state girls reside. |

byvan: Heard they barely spend forever in a man 's house, as for beauty, i see more of regular babes of which most are very brief . Lots of them around here own properties, yet jobless and unmarried, miracle workers I guess. Lol at the last part. Maybe they have jobs that you dont know about. As for the first part i never heard that before, I always here they are loving and can hold their man down, but will break his head if he messes up . |

Richy4: My dear if you are not from Imo state you have no right what so ever creating this thread. Is it to pull imo girls down and feel good about yourself you are after or what
why would you just single Imo girls out, out of the 36 states in Nigeria? And i think they are the most beautiful to. Bias?... i know. |

Mortiple: You talk like a small boy. You dare not compare educated Imo guys with your illiterate Anambra guys. More so, most Imo families wouldn't want to give their daughter's hand in marriage to an Anambra guy because of your notoriety for money ritual and shoddy deals. You guys represent all negative cliche about Igbo men. Biko no conflict nna. Lets keep it mature and not pull each other down. We can state our flaws and also a solution to them. |
Family › Re: What Are Imo State Women Known For? by adabeke12(op): 9:10am On Jan 05, 2015 |
Mortiple: Even children of same parents dont behave alike.
I therefore do not expect Imo girls to be robots or zombies who are programmed to act in a certain way.
For instance, people from Ideato area that shares conmon boundary with Aguata in Anambra State may not act exactly like people from Ohaji/Egbema/Uguta that are closer to Rivers and Delta States.
Likewise, an Owerri city girl may not share many things in common with someone say from Orsu, Oru and environs who are relations of Ihiala in Anambra state.
Please stop this joke, Imo is so large and multicultural to expect them to act in a particular way. Your points have been taken |

Agrika: But let me ask u, are the generalizations not true to an extent, Imo girls, Owerri girls to be precise are pretty with wonderful shapes Infact na for Owerri and Anambra State u go find correct Beauties with brains...but most times una dey fall my hand,...thier girls are more less free for all...even aboki on one of his nomadic trips fit get him share there Those generalizations are not true. Even though as a feminist i see nothing wrong with a woman who responsibly expressing her self 3exually. I think that owerri girls chose to do their own thing, call their own shots instead of being timid. So, therefore they are deemed promiscuous . |

Hello Nairalanders! I just wanted to find out what attributes Imo state women are known for. I would like my answers to specifically come from igbo men that have dealt with Imo women... but other Nigerians that know Imo state women( a lot of them) can chime in. Please mature responses only! The use of profanity or rudeness is not allowed! |

Matthewbriggs: @ bolded Word!!!. The average woman digs for gold just as the average man digs for beauty.
Very true na serious jealousy dey do them.
If you are a smart guy instead of complain and whining exploit this tendency. Focus your energy chasing ego, kudi, money ... and have all them ladies struggling to give you their P***y for free. Black, white, fat, slim, short, tall, ugly, fine, they would all be lining up for your royal manliness to do justice to them ... they would be even competing to have your baby and bear your name. Once you are done having your fill ... you can choose one and wife her or you can keep them as baby mamas if you can't stick to one pu**sy.
She like gold, just like a dog like bone. Instead of complaining go and dig for gold and have them hovering like flies. Life is trade by batter.
*Evil Grin* The world is really going to come to an end. All you have said is really sad! |

fellis: What's he point of going after a broke guy or struggling guy when he will still end up cheating and disrespecting you when he finally gets rich?
They are all the same jor, broke or rich. The broke ones are only well behaved because they know its hard to get quality women and they are trying to get you to stay with them. Women can go after the rich ones because when the man eventually starts chasing other women they can a least contend themselves with the fact that their children are comfortable and well taken care of. wow this sounds way to sad. Why get married then, If people feel like cheating is bound to happen? I just don't get it. Another thing is if all rich and poor men are cheats then all rich and poor girls are h0es. I mean, the men are not performing the act by themselves. |
