People are obsessed with benchmark scores... which apps use 100% of cpu on a good midrange processor?....imo you cant actually completely stress out a good midrange cpu on a day to day use...my theory

Every OEM to his strategy. Tecno saw a market here and took the bold step to invest in it. They have a lot of Nigerians on their payroll. The computer village shutdown is a strategy and its working for them. I care less about any brand but I will not be little any brand just for the sake of it. tecno, Infinix, Itel have stepped up their game (though Itel still have a long way to go). I've seen a couple of Xiaomi phones and they are pretty good especially in performance and battery life, camera wise not so good. But let's say my phone broke and I need to buy a new phone right now and I have 40-50k, what phone would u recommend. I mean I want it right now and start using it today.

There are sellers on the xiaomi thread that have it readily available if you're talking about xiaomi.

Bro, without bias or prejudice, I use an infinix Zero 5 and you know how much that costs. I bought it for 105k December 2nd and is currently about 102k now. I could afford a Samsung or iPhone if I wanted one but I can't because they don't have a good life span. Show me someone that has used an iPhone, Samsung or HTC for 2 years without an issue, coupled with their wack batteries that can explode anytime. Infinix, Tecno and the likes came to the Nigerian market to open our blind eyes to the fact that those so called big brands that u're referring to are just extorting us for nothing. So you think infinix or tecno can't manufacture a phone at par with the galaxy S9 or iPhone X?

Trust me, it doesn't work on note 4x SD or note 3 SD variant on ntel. I've tried everything known to make it work but to no avail. It seems the new generation of Xiaomi devices, like Redmi 5 plus and note 5 use a different protocol of VoLTE which ntel supports.

It didn't come on, on its own tho..had to Dial *#*#86583#*#* for it to show up

Ntel is the worst @ my end. I get less than 100kbps for downloads. I always have to move m WiFi modem up and down just to see if there will be an improvement in speed, nada!!!

Yep depends on your location...just as spectranet is the worst in my area....i couldn't get a fucking signal and had to return it

I know where this thread is going. I know it's leaning thowards xiaomi. But I will say it again, let xiaomi open their offices in Nigeria, let them pay the tax tecno and infinix are paying, let them employ Nigerians, sponsor events etc. That is the only time I will credit them. Yes they make better phones than tecno and infinix at good prices, but that is mainly because their devices are shipped from overseas, no tax is paid. Where was xiaomi in those days when an ordinary man in Nigeria couldn't afford a smartphone?

That is xiaomi's strategy of keeping prices low and this thing doesn't affect nigeria only, others are happy to buy them but una want computer village shutdown with dancers and loudspeakers...what is nigerians problem with shops....or you think tecno and the likes give a damn about you and still give you overpriced substandard phone? First of all, that was a speed test to show that iPhone x isn't the top dog. Secondly, i posted another pic wer the benchmark results showed that the adreno wan destroy a11. If you read my comments very well you'll understand why devs prefer ios, simple... Money, not because of raw power. Thirdly mobile gaming isn't for true gamers... Take it or leave it. I have played a whole lot of games om my phone that I've realized it's just not worth it since fifa 15 - 16. Also, if you bring the ipad pro into the picture, I'd simply bring the Intel surface pro 4. Pls stick to the narrative, even the iPhone x doesn't have the 120hz... . Also the scenario of putting any 2018 flagship to ios device with the hope that it'll best the s9+ snapdragon 845 is in lay man terms laughable. . IPhone has got nothing on the adreno... Simple as facts.
The facts is as stated below
1. devs choose iPhone cus of money
2. Adreno is the most powerful gpu on mobile before, now amd tomorrow.
3. A11 is theoretically the best cpu on paper but irl it's being bested by other mobile phones.
4.there are also exclusives on Android.

I no too like arguments but i think its glaring that devs choose iphone because of money...even i was almost pushed to it...richer audience and all.
