One thing you should all understand is that what you studied in school does not determine what you end up doing.

There are medical students who are youtubers, mechanical engineers working as secretaries.

The point is, when you find something you love, pivot immediately.

You know how this country is now. It's hard to start a business offline.

But it's very easy to start an online business.

Dear friend, whoever you are watching. If you want to start your own business. I'd say, look online.

It's easier to start an online business. Yes.

But it's also easy to get scammed. Tbt

So look only for these kind of businesses.
-YouTube
-blogging
-freelancing
-email marketing

The oga patakpata is affiliate marketing because you can combine it with the once i listed above.

Funny enough, you don't even need any course to learn these skill.

There's google and YouTube with many people waiting to teach you.

What are you waiting
Get started and may God bless your efforts

Business / How To Monetize A Blog On Blogger by Ade1bowale(m): 3:24pm On Oct 18, 2022
If you have a blog on blogger, there are several ways to monetize it and make money from it. In this article, I’ll show you 3 ways to monetize your blogger blog.

Note: you don’t need to buy a custom domain to do this, just create your blogger blog and you are good to go. I’ve discovered that you can create a WordPress website for as low as 8 thousand naira on this website. That’s why I recommend you create your own website with a custom domain.

Let’s jump into the 3 ways to monetize your blog on blogger.

3 cool ways to monetize a blog on blogger

When it comes to monetizing a blog on blogger or any other platform you choose to host your blog. There are three main ways to go about it. It all comes down to these three

Sell your own stuff
Affiliate marketing
Display ads
Many other methods found online might either fall under these methods or they might be plain wrong.

How to monetize your blog on blogger by selling your own stuff

This is one of the best ways to monetize your blogger blog. By selling your own stuff, you keep all the profits and at the same time, you have more control over the promotions.

I would advice you sell only services and digital products which are created once and can be sold over and over again.

Here are some examples of digital products you can sell on your blog

Digital Ebooks
Video cources etc
If you want to sell your own stuff on your blogger blog. There are several ways to do it effectively.

– Write articles based on what people are searching for

This comes down to understanding the type of person you want to sell to. When you know the category of people you are selling to. You can write articles that would attract them to your blogger blog. Also, by understanding our target audience, you would know the things they search for online.

As an example, supposing I wanted to sell cars. I won’t write articles talking about football. Rather, I would write these type of articles:

Best cars for men
Latest cars for rich and handsome men (that’s if it answers the questions below though)
Here are some factors to keep in mind when choosing articles to write
If you really want to attract the right set of people to your blogger blog. Your articles must meet the following requirements. If you can’t answer yes to the following questions, leave the article.

Does the target keyword have a low competition?
Is the article related to your product?
Are people searching for that topic?
If your answer is yes. Then go ahead and write the article. But that’s not all. There’s still one more step to go.

Writing articles related to the product you want to sell is just one part of the puzzle. How are you going to convince your blog visitors to buy your product? There are two ways to do this:

– Use banner ads on your blog
You don’t need a graphics designer to create banner ads on your blog. Just go to canva and you can create beautiful designs on your blog. If your banner is closely related to your blog content many of your visitors would click. You’ll get more sales when your blog content is closely related to the banner.

– Link your article to the product
Banner ads get lower clicks than direct linking from your article. If you want to make even sales, try mentioning your product within the content of your article. A good way to do this is by using the “by the way” statement.

For instance, if I have an eBook about crypto and I’m writing an article about the best crypto traders in the world.

This would definitely be a part of my article:

“So that’s the 3rd best crypto trader in the world. By the way, if you want to learn about crypto trading. This guide reveals the best way to get started. It would teach you the fundamentals of crypto trading.”

or if I’m selling my services, it would be something along the lines of:

“So that’s the 3rd best crypto trader in the world. By the way, if you want to trade crypto but don’t have the time. I can trade it for you, I’m a pro trader with 5000 years experience. Trading with me can never go wrong”

Then I’d link to the payment page of my product (or my services page) where anyone interested would be able to buy it. That’s the first way to monetize your blog on blogger. Continue reading for the second (and one of the best) ways to monetize any site.

How to monetize your blog on blogger with affiliate marketing

Business / How To Do Affiliate Marketing In Nigeria by Ade1bowale(m): 9:18pm On Apr 28, 2022
I'm going to keep things very simple because I want you to get the big picture and I want you to understand how things work. There are basically five steps involved in affiliate marketing.

But this five steps can be broken down into sixteen steps, or 30 steps if I were to go in depth.

I believe that if you understand the big picture you will be able to complete the puzzle very easily.

Step 1: choose a niche

This is the very first step and the most important too. You have to choose the type of products you'll be selling.

This is because you won't be selling products in different categories, although we can do that. It would be easier and more profitable to stick to a single niche.

So would you be selling medical products or cameras, or web hosts. Your niche will determine the type of people you will attract.

For instance, if you are selling cameras and mics, you might attract youtubers and so.

So pick a niche and move to step two....

Step 2: find related products

This is also very crucial and important. If you are selling to librarians, it would be a bad idea to promote cameras to them, right? Instead, you should be looking for good books to sell.

If you pick a niche and you pick the right products to promote to that category of people, you will make a lot of sales.

So do well to find good products related to your niche.

Step 3: build an audience

If you do step 1 and two properly and you miss step 3, no one will see your products, not to talk less of buying them.

How do you build an audience? - you might ask.

You can do so by building your email list, your YouTube subscribers and your blog readership.

There are many different strategies involved. So you should start by building your e-mail list.Highly recommended.

But most people just build an email list and no one responds to them, that's why you should use this email strategies to get the best out of your email list.
https://gideonempire.com/email-marketing-best-practices/

Step 4: promote the products

This is where you start promoting the products to your audience that you have built either on your blog, YouTube channel, social media or your email list.

Remember that people hate to be sold to, so make sure you tell them how the product you are promoting will benefit them personally.

Don't just tell them to buy buy buy.

Step 5: enjoy your earnings

I think this is pretty much obvious.

I'm sure that if you follow all the steps listed above, you'll get to step 5.

Just in case you don't know what to do with your earnings you can send some my way.

Business / How To Become Rich In Nigeria. by Ade1bowale(m): 8:44am On Feb 28, 2021
Hello to my fellow Nigerians,

This is your brother, son and friend, today I will like to share with you guys a very great idea and one of the best strategy that the most successful people in the world know, this principle will help you in a lot of ways.

Firstly, this will help you become more accountable and successful, it will also help you to grow faster on the financial ladder.

So let's get started.

Many time people say that they want to be rich but the thing is we are our own problem, but the truth is that it isn't our fault. It is just human nature.

What do I mean

I will like to explain first what assets and liabilities mean, now you might already know this but just read on and get the main point.

In simple terms according to richdad.com an asset is anything that puts money into your pocket, while a liability is anything that takes money out of your pocket.

Now how does this affect your financial status.

The truth is if you were given birth to with a silver spoon then you might not really need this, but if like me and many others you are trying to grow and create wealth by yourself, then make sure you hold this tight.

Understanding this will change your life financially.

Most people are poor because of the fact that they just want to impress others, not knowing that that is not good.

Anything that takes money out of your pocket should be avoided if you want to be financially free. Get my point, I'm not saying you should become an akagon, rather make sure you focus on getting assets.

Look at this

imagine that you are working a 9-5 job, with a salary of 50k a month, you save and then you get yourself a very beautiful car of 3 million naira, cool right, you can now cruise around and earn the respect of a car owner.

But what if instead of buying a car, you bought a house and then rented it out, do you know what's going to happen, then you have acquired an asset, and now instead of money coming in from only your job, you now have two sources of income, your job and your rented house.

Now this is the principle that the rich use to build wealth.

Now imagine again that you followed the same steps and bought yourself another house and another house and another house.

Now you have many streams of income.

This is the stage where you can now quit your job, buy whatever amount of liabilities you want.

This time around it's your money that is working for you.

How sweet will that be.

You seat down and just continue receiving alert of rents paid, due to your smartness.

Now again look back what if you just bought a car back then when you could have gotten your first rental property, you would have been buying fuel with your hard earned money and by now the car would have become old, but you will still be dependent on your job.

I hope you implement this because this is the only strategy that the rich use to become richer and that is what the poor people didn't know.

Now the only problem is that building a house costs a lot of money. That's why I want to introduce you to another type of business that is very easy to start and can still help you create passive income.
It's called affiliate marketing, it's very easy to start and scale it. Read about it here https://gideonempire.com/start--in-nigeria/
Business / How To Do Affiliate Marketing In Nigeria And Make Money by Ade1bowale(m): 11:46pm On Feb 24, 2021
how to make money online is a question most people ask a lot, the thing is that there are many answers to that question. You can make money online by doing many things e.g blogging, offering a service, selling your products on your online store, dropshipping or some other form of advanced dropshipping called AFFILIATE MARKETING, which i am going to be discussing in detail in this post. So if you are in nigeria and would like to learn more about affiliate marketing then buy bread and akara, settle down with a pen and paper and let's moooove..

Now you might be wondering why i said that affiliate marketing is the advanced form of dropshipping, well the ideology is very simple, when you hear dropshipping you think of someone advertising someone else's product and at a higher price than what the original owner is selling and when someone buys that product the advertiser pockets the added amount and places the order at its normal price and it is delivered to the buyer.

well affiliate marketing follows that same aproach only that this time around you dont need to place any order on behalf of the buyer, your only duty now is to just promote the product with your special referral link and when someone likes the product and buy using your special refferal link you earn a certain commission at no added cost to the buyer.

I would advice you to read the previous two paragraphs again.

Now to do affiliate marketing is pretty much the same way in every country, but the thing is that some platforms do not allow nigerians to participate due to some reasons like the fact that our individual tax record cannot be calculated and some other reasons like the fact that some nigerians usually engage in fraudulent acts.

examples of some platforms that do not allow nigeria to participate in their affiliate program is clickbank, warriorplus and so on. But the thing is that when it comes to affiliate marketing there is no limit to the number of affiliate programs out there and that is a very good thing.

So I am going to be sharing with you guys the best way to do affiliate marketing in nigeria, the thought process of an affiliate marketer, some examples of affiliate programs that you can start doing today to make more money and how to promote your affiliate links the right way.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DO AFFILIATE MARKETING IN NIGERIA
If you want to be successful as an affiliate in any country you must stop behaving like a sales person who just want to make that sale, try and look for ways to add value instead, dont allow the money to blur your judgement, dont say because you are going to gain 20000 naira if someone buys using your link you will now recommend a bad product to others.

Also most affiliates or so called affiliate will go to facebook and start spamming their links everywhere, that is the biggest mistake you can make as an affiliate marketer.

Just imagine that you where in your sitting room, thinking of what your children will eat and someone who you dont even know from anywhere badges in and says hey mister musa this product will help you gain six packs. what will be your reaction? that is how it looks like when an affiliate marketer just goes to facebook with their affiliate links and starts spamming it on everyone's posts.

As a nigerian you have the biggest opportunity to make money online as an affiliate marketer because of two reasons, the first being that nigeria is a very populated country and the second is the fact that the rate at which people buy things in nigeria is very high.
Forget about those people saying people are no longer buying things due to the corona virus, that is just an assumption.
most of the online store recorded a very high increase in sales during the corona virus period than ever before and nigeria is a very big contributor the sales.

so once you sign up for an affiliate network stop thinking about how much you will gain when someone buys rather think of the people who will need what you are offering to them and look for ways to add value to them in one form or the other then you can recommend a product that you know will be useful to them. Or that you feel they would want to buy.

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF AFFILIATE PROGRAMS THAT EVERY NIGERIAN CAN JOIN AND MAKE MONEY
(1) JVZOO
(2) KONGA
(3) JUMIA
the affiliate platforms are not limited to these three, the affiliate programs that nigerians can join are so so numerous.
this are the three major platforms that most nigerians can join and start making massive money from if they apply the rules i am going to be listing our.

RULES FOR SUCCESSFUL AFFILIATE MARKETING
hopefully by now you have signed up for one affiliate program or the other, if you are having difficulty signing up then all you just have to do is to go to my youtube channel at www.youtube.com/kolawolegideon and just tell me to make a video explaining the process for you and i will be delighted to do so.

RULE #1
Always Add Value (Whether you are selling a gown or a software add value)

RULE #2
Stop thinking about the sale (think of adding value and showing people why they need what you think they need)

RULE #3
Promote product you are sure of (make sure to always promote products that you have used or that has been used by someone you know)

This is where i will stop for today, if you would like me to explain to you personally then just drop a comment here and i will be sure to answer any questions that you have.

you can also subscribe to my youtube channel at www.youtube.com/kolawolegideon because I am going to be talking about business, personal finance and many other things.

thank you so much guys, i remain my humble self Ade1bowale.

But what if there was a right way to do this?
What if it wasn't only one way but there were a lot of ways to do this?

You see many people would have been very great in life but most of them were limited by their belief, race, family and friends and most especially the information they had.

That's why a great man said "information is power"
With information you can go from being just an average student to one of the world's richest. And without information you might just remain average.

Education / How To Make Money Online As A Student by Ade1bowale(m): 10:31am On Oct 17, 2020
How to make money online is a question I always ask google, and i sure know that I'm not alone, especially in Nigeria that most of us really want to make money quick, trust me when I say I have tried many, is it mining of btc or is it surveys or those apps that promise you fake things.
But what I realized is that to make money, whether online or offline you have to put in the work and add value to the lives of people, just maintain this ideology, the carpenter adds value to you by doing your carpentry work and then he makes his money, now if you want to liken that online you have to have a product (which adds value) that sells 24/7 or have an automated system.
But what if you don't have money for to create a product, there are other ways to make money online, I also discussed some in my YouTube video https://youtu.be/F7LJAvxEbZ0, where i discussed two ideal and legit ways to make money online, and those are not get rich quick schemes like most people usually do.
But to actually get rich you have to first put in the work, and that's what I discussed in the video.
Most of us want to make mama proud but that should not get us into doing wrong things, so my advice will be to learn ways to make money online that are actually very realistic.
I hope you learned something, please if you did let me know. And don't forget to learn more from the video https://youtu.be/F7LJAvxEbZ0
God bless you and your endeavors.

I am just telling you the fundamentals of youtube, go to youtube and research for yourself, see the videos that get views and see the ones that dont get views, compare, many Nigerian youtubers dont get views because of lack of good camera and lighting, users experience is everything.

Another disadvantage here is internet users are low here in nigeria, many users dont like wasting their time on watching videos, if you wanna win check what the few winning youtubers in africa are doing start from there, you will understand.

dont compare others with you, you arent taaomma, she is a comedian, she built her Instagram base first which made her popular before taking all her videos from instagram and uploaded it on youtube.

Gone are the days of using your andriod phone for youtube, if you want viewers, you need to get good camara and lighting, edit your videos well, talk about interesting things.
When I read your words, I picture someone really smart, but please be reasonable (no offense please) reason with me, for someone who wants to start a YouTube channel, must he get a good camera, lighting, mic and other things before he or she can start?
Why don't you start with what you have
And yes you should talk about something interesting, but that does not mean that you should focus on only trending things, you should pick a niche and speak about something you know and like talking about.
What if you started with what you have and in the process started learning how to speak in front of a camera(kill camera shyness) also learn how to speak in general. Which you will agree with me that most people need help with.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying you should not have those fancy things like good camera and lighting with mic etc, but what if you don't have, will you wait until the day you have the money to setup a perfect studio, my answer is and will remain NO.

i will give you 3 month then you will understand.

You think people doing youtube in nigeria are rich.

you need about 4000 watch hour and 1000 sub to get monitize or you will be deactivated

also camera cost, most people even with the best camera go years without barely surviving from youtube revenue

CPC are very low in africa

I understand everything you are saying
Let me use this medium to explain something to you which seems not to be clear.
Monetization on YouTube does not depend on only YouTube paying you for the ads the place on your videos and you can also start earning alot from YouTube by doing things like sponsorship, affiliate marketing (for example taaooma those that alot in her videos which gives her alot of money)
So back to what you said about cameras
I'll tell anyone who wants to start to start with what you have, even your android phone is good enough, because once you start you begin to gain experience and then you can later advance with more equipments.

You said you gave me three months I accept, but I promise you I won't quit, no matter what, what you said now has even given me more motivation.
