obasobawon: I was selected for further processing in the dv lottery. i submitted my completed form with some mistakes on it.i did not have any knowledge of forum like this were people share ideas.

nereiskc: Good evening pals, few day ago I scanned and sent my DPS 230 and DPS 122 forms in pdf format including passport photograph (2) to KCC email, and I got a reply that my inquires has been received and filed under my case file for review...my question now is do I need to send the hard copies to kcc through courier. Secondly, there is an error on my wace certificate about my date of birth, instead of 6th sept they wrote 16th sept, will this pose any danger or disqualification...thanks

Regarding sending ur form by email, dat is ok. U dont need to send it by physical mail again unless u hv 2 much money to trow around if so no 4get me o. U can call KCC 2 confirm. As for d disparity in ur date of birth, do an affividat to harmonise that.

Wen filling d form I ws told dat havin credit passes in maths and eng wasn't necessary, dat since I had five credits I was well enuf to go. I had an F9 in maths but passed every other subject in waec, and I used d result in fillin d form as my higest qualificatn. I hav anoda olevel result(neco) wch I passed all d subject includin maths, bt I decided to use d previous waec because I hav its certificate already. Is d waec ok or cud I update KKC wit my neco result without cert? I also hav errors on my waec cert(DOB), what step shud I take regardin d anomaly? Thanks all, u r all gr8

ur case is not really difficult. On d day of interview go wit al ur certificate, if a question is raised as regds dat just show them d other certificate. Shikena. If u read dv2013 forum u wil see similar case.

Well! He filled the online application as a single man but he wants to include me in the selectee's information to be sent to Kentucky as his wife so we can travel together.
I am worried. Will his changed marital status affect his visa outcome?

It is a gud thing that u have done ur traditional wedding, it is even gr8 u did it b4 dvlottery result came out. All u need is pictures to indicate that u re truly married. On d day of interview u might b required to produce ur courtship relationship to really verify ur claim. U may just legalise d relationship and keep ur marriage certificate. Gudluck.

my candid opinion. If ur husband ex truely want to process d visa, all she need to do is get a divorce certificate as evidence n wula! D visa is hers. As 4 ur husband, he might because of US visa beg his ex n reconcile and if d ex consider him I dont know what wil be ur fate o. Good luck.

hello ma brodas and sistas in d dvlottery, I submiited my form 2day to kccdv@state.gov. Hw long can I wait to know if my submission is successful. For those want to send your form cheaply, u can follow this procedure:

1.fill d forms correctly and carefully on computer.
2.print it and append ur signature to necessary places.
3.attach ur pport to the front page of forms and scan d forms and safe in jpeg format.
4.scan ur passport also separately.
5. Instal pdf creator on ur system (it is a software o dat allows u to convert ur file to pdf).
6.print any of d scan image, when d printer window prompt to select d file u want to print just select all. At d point where u can select printer to print select pdf creator and click ok.
7. Pdf creator pop up then click on save. It will ask where u want to save, specify d location and click save.
8. Attach d pdf u just created and the passport and send to KCCDV@state.gov

This simple step wil save u 12k to 13k of sending through normal mail and is very fast. ONE LUV.

please haos can someone help me with the procedure for converting file to pdf. Your prompt response wil b highly appreciated.

Madam ur case is not difficult. It is understansable dat status do change after a while, once you do your change of name u can tender ur e passporrt along side ur affidavit for change of name and marriage certificate anywhere, embassy inclusive.

madam, I wil recommend to do a change of name then use ur husband name 2 fill d form and submit the form wit a copy affidafit. Besides I believe u hv a copy of ur marriaage certificate wit u cos u wil need dat on interview day.

House and the gurus here please I need your urgent response on this. My wife is d winner while am a beneficiary. The third name on my MAY/JUNE WAEC certificate is different from the third name on my GCE certificate, though it is my GCE that contains all subjects. What do you think I shd fill on my form 230 because I know it is what I filled that will reflect on my NPC certificate. Pls I need una response urgently o.
