General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Sunday, April 12, assured citizens of Nigeria that the pandemic coronavirus will be a thing of the past in the country in no time.

Adeboye went further to prophesy that the disease will be over soon. He said: “I want to bring good news to someone. I want to tell you that my God is not dead, he is alive. “Not only is alive, but he is also in control. If you have any doubt at all the situation in the recent past should show you clearly that he is in control.”

The Nigeria Centre of Disease Control(NCDC) has taken to their official twitter page to announce that 11 of the new cases are in Lagos while Kano and Delta have one each.

They bring the total cases in the country to 318. Seventy have been discharged with ten deaths.

Recall in October 2019 MI released an explosive track titled ‘Viper’ blasting Vector as a a fake rapper who has never helped anyone succeed. He also stated that Vector should take his advice of opening up his heart to help people if he wants to succeed.

The Nigeria centre for disease control have announced Twenty-two new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.

NCDC took to their official twitter page to announce that:
Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo

As at 09:00pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths

15 Chinese doctors have arrived Nigeria to help in the fight against Coronavirus. The doctors arrived the country in an Air Peace flight amid the lock down.
Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjian; Executive Director, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Mr Jacques Liao as well as senior officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health received the doctors who arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by 5:15pm today April 8.

The Lagos State Police command has granted bail to singer Naira Marley and former Lagos state governorship candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi, and his wife.

The trio were detained after submitting themselves at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba on Monday April 6.

A dram occurred at the ogba Chief Magistrates Court in Lagos state today as court officials allegedly denied funke akindele and her husband lawyers access into the court room.

Actress Funke Akindele-Bello who was arrested on Sunday April 5th by the Lagos state police command for disobeying the order of the Lagos state government after they declared a locked down, spent the night at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID office in Panti, Lagos.

A police source who confirmed this to LIB, said funke’s husband, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, who was not availabe when she funke akindele was apprehended has turned himself in and is currently with her in Panti. The police source added that they would be arraigned in court this morning.
Singer Naira Marley and other guests at the party who the police have asked to report at the SCID for questioning are still being awaited.

Nigeran label boss and music star, Davido has undergone a second Coronavirus test days after he was spotted with Governor Seyi Makinde who tested positive for coronavirus.

Recall that singer had disclosed that he and his son tested negative for the virus while his fiancee, Chioma tested positive upon their return from a trip abroad. Social media users however reacted and objected for a second test to be conducted on the singer after Governor Makinde tested positive for the virus.

Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), has announced a reduction in the pump price of petrol through the Federal Government.

A statement signed by the PPPRA Executive Secretary, Abdulkadri Saidu, says the new retail price of petrol would be N123.50 beginning from today April 1st.


The new price is N1.50 lower than the N125 per litre announced on March 18th.

“The PPPRA, in line with the government approval for a monthly review of premium motor spirit (PMS) pump price, hereby announces guiding PMS pump price of N123.50 per litre. The guiding price, which becomes effective April 1, 2020, shall apply at all retail outlets nationwide for the month of April, 2020. The PPPRA and other relevant regulatory agencies shall continue to monitor compliance to extant regulations for a sustainable downstream petroleum sector. Members of the public and all oil marketing companies are to be guided , accordingly.” he said

Recall that on March 18, the Federal Executive Council had approved a reduction of petrol pump price from N145 to N125.

After the divisiom of petrol pump price was announced, PPPRA announced that the federal government approved a monthly review of petrol price to reflect global crude oil market trends.

The Government of Ogun State has extended President Buhari’s 14 days lockdown order which was issued in a live broadcast yesterday March 29 and expected to take off by 11pm today March 30.

Ogun Government postpones President BuhariGovernor Dapo Abiodun made this announcement in his address to the residents of Ogun state and further revealed that the lockdown order will be effected as from Friday April 3, shortly after inspecting 128-bed isolation centres located within the premises of HID Awolowo Model School in Ikenne Remo.

Dapo Abiodun also urged the people of the state to remain calm and buy food items ahead of time, and he also revealed in his address that they have acquired 20 ventilators for use at the isolation centres.

Prince Charles has been reportedly recovered from coronavirus and is out of self-isolation following his diagnosis for the deadly disease weeks ago.

Prince charles, had reportedly spent seven days on self-isolation in Scotland after testing positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday, March 25th. His wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, 72, was tested negative to the virus, but also began self-isolation.

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has declared curfew in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State.

He said the restriction was to curb the transmission of the coronavirus in the states, where it is prevalence.He announced this in his live broadcast to Nigerians on sunday 29th of march 2020 at 7:00pm.

The provost and deputy provost of the University of Ibadan’s College of Medicine, Professors Oluwabunmi Olapade-Olaopa and Obafunke Denloye have both tested positive to the coronavirus.
