U should be in the uk..when u get there it would be to be a tier 2 visa.

U guys should check the UKVI websites if you are using IELts to prove english language proficiency.......someone got denied visa just becos of that stupid ielts thing....

The fact is there are two different ielts general.
And two different ielts academics......UKVI specifically asked for its own....and its not the same with the IELTS general used for Canada and Australia PR....make sure you book the right one with british council....

pls I’m a bit confused at the moment, My ielts life skills results has not been delivered over two weeks now. It’s showing pass on the portal. I’ve also tried to reach them via calls but all the lines are switched off. The issue is my biometrics collection is on the 19. Is there any other way I can reach them or should I just go to the center I wrote my exam.

I wrote 2nd of June and I just got a mail from them this morning. By 3pm this afternoon, the DHL guy called to give me my results

I did my IELTS Life Skills B1 on 2nd June, 2022 in the British Council Abuja Centre.
My results should have been out since 8th of June, and I've sent them a mail, yet no response from them by mail or on the dashboard.

I only have My Intl passport and Academic and work records at the moment. My question is: Should I wait to get all docs before responding or reply with what i currently have and tell them I will forward the rest soon?
I understand forwarding these documents will qualify me for interview. Pls has anyone been in this shoe before? Your kind response please. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I wrote the life skills B1 test last week. It says on the portal I passed but I didn’t get the hard copy yet, I was told that it will be sent to my address within 7days. Hello Zeb04, I hope you're aware that you mustn't use IELTS report for HCPC registration.
If you schooled in an Anglophone country, such as Nigeria, and your university degree was taught in English, and you speak it fluently, you can get an English Proficiency Letter/Medium of Instruction (signed & stamped) from your university's admin office or from your dept and use it for your HCPC registration. Cheers.

Typically, before you can be issued a certificate of sponsorship (COS) by your potential employer. You must have been offered employment in the UK which meets the minimum pay for immigrants.

On accepting the offer, you go through some screening which varies amongst employers. Every employer/organization have specific onboarding activities which varies from background checks, filling of forms, signing some agreements etc.

You are expected to also have prove your knowledge of English language, TB test results (All this have been stated in the first post).

Once you submit all the necessary documents to your employer, they will start processing your COS. You don't have to do anything else but wait patiently till they send it to you. Once you receive the COS, you quote the COS ref number on your visa application.

Let me know if there is any other contribution you think might be helpful.

Former Nigeria goalkeeper, Emmanuel Babayaro has said current goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, and the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick are to be blamed for the country’s failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

The Super Eagles lost out on away goal rule, after drawing 1-1 at home with Ghana on Tuesday.

Babayaro, who won a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics, said, “For me personally, I will lay the blame on goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu. He has been the goalkeeper trainer for many years and has failed to bring any improvement on any of the goalkeepers. And also, he has not brought up a new goalkeeper into the fold. So, why is he a goalkeeper trainer?”

He added, “Football has a lot to do with psychology. Uzoho after conceding that goal was shaking because it was a flop for him to allow that ball to go into the net. It takes a lot of character for the goalkeeper to come back better after such a goal.”


The former Super Eagles goaltender also laid blame on the doorsteps of Amaju Pinnick.

“There is no teamwork among Super Eagles and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) because in a situation where only the President is in charge of everything. The President of the Federation is the Chief Scout of Super Eagles. He has been the one traveling to Europe to convince players who were not born here and don’t know much about Nigerian football to come and play for us.

“How can you bring strangers together and expect them to do the work of brothers? They cannot play with that urgency because they don’t know the history and the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana and what football means to the average Nigerian,” he concluded.
