This includes working closely with segment managers in developing products based on research findings that addresses the needs of target customers and that are within the scope of the bank’s strategy. • Closely monitor asset product performance, appraise market acceptance and use feedback to initiate product modifications and/or enhancements. • Support roll-out and implementation of new asset products, in conjunction with the relevant internal stakeholders. • Carry out periodic market survey to ascertain how competitor’s offering or market changes are impacting on asset product performance. • Collaborates with the relevant stakeholders within the Bank to support implementation of asset Product value proposition in support of the Bank’s strategic objectives to drive product success via all channels. • Ensure Relevance and alignment of products to the demands of the market • Drive efficiency and effectiveness within the Products division by collaborating with the relevant internal stakeholders and staff to improve efficiency. • Provide Analyses and MIS reports to highlight relevant performance and local market data for planning, profitability and to assist management in decision making i.e. product portfolio analysis and optimization. • Supports projects related to asset Products which drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Understands the interdependencies between people, systems, business and operational risks, as well as products, pricing, place to implement and leverage feasible operating strategies and tactics for increased contribution and profitability. • Performs a consultant type role to internal Business stakeholders (Relationship Managers) with regards to structuring (e.g. product combination) and pricing of products to address customer requests/challenges. He/she analyses top ten challenges from the Customer Care Centre and formulates solutions to resolve challenges, improve service delivery to avoid recurrence. Writing is the problem here, so you need to run a self diagnostics on your writing. I would suggest that you read loads and loads of band 9 writing samples. This really helped me. I found out that all the tricks and suggestions from Liz, Jay etc were just adding to the complexity of the whole thing.
