Wretch32: Any reviews on the following schools: 1. Bowie state university 2. Clark Atlanta university 3. Brown university ( it’s an Ivy League school I heard)
Is either of these schools a red flag school ? No sir, they are good schools. |

Danielaz5: Good day everyone my Visa got denied today June 19 and would like to hear your advice on what to change. Below is the transcript
V.O : Good morning Me : Good morning V.O : What are you going to study Me: Biological Science at Alcorn State University V.O : Why biology ? Me : I lost my sister during childbirth when I was 5 and I decided I was going to become a medical doctor preferably an Ob-gyn doctor to help others so they won't go through the pain I went through V.O : What is an Ob-gyn doctor ? Me : An obstetrician and gynaecologist doctor V.O : What do you intend to do with a bachelor's degree ? Do you know the steps to becoming a doctor and what will qualify you to entering medical school ? Me: Becoming a doctor in the US requires two stages a pre-med and medical school. I have chosen Biology as my premedical course and would like to attend a medical school in Nigeria or USA V.O : What grades will you require to attend a medical school ? Me: A MCAT score of possibly 359 in the US and A bachelor's degree and good GPA in Nigeria V.O : Your visa cannot be approved
I was on A presidential scholarship with a semester stipend and the V.O didn't pay attention to my I-20. I need help please I'm reapplying soon. Hi there! I'm sorry but are you saying you wouldn't consider biology if you didn't lose your sister?? That response is not connecting. You finished yourself by saying "Becoming a doctor in the US"... I feel you probably wanted to say " Studying this course in the US requires......." Just my opinion |

philipinho: Yes. Third woman from the left. We're you the one that bones face when they approved your visa, only to give the security man outside a big smile? Dark and tall? Yessss!!!!!! I actually didn't know how to feel until the security man said congratulations!! Then I realized it was real ... And I knew that female VO interviewed you just by reading your transcript. She kept her questions short and simple, other VOs especially the black American that wore green head tie and the last man would drill you until you make a mistake |

philipinho: Just like Adedoja99 and Stella91, I was also at the embassy with my wife on the 8th of June. I think I met Stella91 on the queue asking her if she was related to someone I know (Eneh Jones Odeh). She was even complaining about her son that he doesn't like to sit down Prior to our turn, I noticed thay the VO had already turned down 3 of those before us. Anyway, Mine/ours went this way. (not exactly) However wasn't up to 3mins
VO: Good morning us: good morning
Vo: are you going together and who is the primary applicant. Wife: I am
Vo: why are you going to the US? Wife: to study at UTS, new york.
Vo: who is paying for it Wife: it's a full phd scholarship (5 years)
Vo: plus stipends? Wife: yes.
vo: you had already been to uts for your Master's, was that before you got married? Wife: yes
Vo: any children Couple : no
Vo: pass me your marriage certificate.
I gave her the 2 certificates... She didn't even look at them
vo: who is sponsoring your husband Wife: his father
vo didn't ask for bank statement.
Vo: what do you do and what does your father do? Me: i'm a christian minister and my father too
Vo: your visas have been approved, make sure you hold on to your marriage certificates in case you are asked at the poE.
Couple: thank you (I couldn't believe it was so quick, not even up to 3mins) Vo: enjoy your trip
Note, none of the things / questions we prepared for were asked apart from the marriage certificates. Our surnames weren't even the same on our new passports even though we got them after our wedding which we had this year (she hadn't done her change of name) She didn't even check our old passports And going to New York wasn't a problem.
I hope this helps. Thanks Congratulations!! I'm guessing the white woman interviewed you |

Me: A degree in Information Systems from Cleveland State University which I will be obtaining from Monte Ahuja College of business Campus is ranked among one of the best business schools in the US which is one of the 5% /business schools which has a professional ranking in the US today, secondly, the program is designed not to only developed my business managerial and financial skills, but to also build me Technically, equipping me with the best way to utilize the modern technology. VO: so, why Information Systems ME: Information Systems is a course that is very much in line with my career, considering the varieties of career field this course offers which gives me the opportunity of working in a business and Technical field. VO: When did you finish High School? ME: 2015 VO: What have you been doing since then? mayd16: Hello house, please i got admission into Jamestown community college, i did not do any English proficient test because it was not required this is according to school requirements. What can i tell the Embassy when asked if i have taken any exam
And also is Jamestown CC a nice school now somebody is hearing about iglobal thing Bro, the truth is you might be lucky cause I came to understand that visa approval and community colleges are not friends. It's 50% 50% bro. If you'd be going, consider looking for the best response to "why do you want to get an associate degree and not a bachelors degree" or "what would an associate degree do for you"? Remember it's still 50% 50%. Good luck my friend |

So my experience. Interview date: 8th of June Time: 6:45 I got there 5:35, then they called 6:30 first then 6:45 next. We went through the whole security checks and all, man I was scared afff but I was over prepared so I kept my cool. Got in and did the thumb print then queued for the visa. So quickly, people abeg apply to a good school and answer the question they asked you pls. A girl went before me and nailed herself. She did well until she was asked until she was asked to mention the schools she applied to ( iglobal, and 2 other universities that are not that bad) but immediately the VO heard iglobal, the VO asked the girl to mention the schools again, and that was when I knew she nailed herself. The funny thing is she wasn't going to iglobal, but she applied. She was also asked "did you take any exam"? She answered: I tool IELTS, but it was not required!!! I felt bad for the babe sha. So my own proper (in no particular order) VO: Goodmorning (smiling) Me: Goodmorning (trying to hide nervousness) VO: so where are you going? Me: Morehouse college, Atlanta Georgia VO: To do what ? ME: To get my bachelors degree in computer science VO: how did you get to know about the school? ME: it was introduced to me by Mrs ********* , who's the advisor at educationUsa, then I learnt more using Collegeboard big future and I used commonapp to apply VO: Did you use this commonapp to apply to other schools? ME: Yes, I did apply to 9 other schools VO: Wow, you (I didn't hear the rest) ME: Yes I applied to 9 then I mentioned (Davidson college and the rest) VO: Davidson college? Where? ME: North Carolina VO: so why computer science? ME: I chose to study computer science because I have a strong desire for innovations and would love to have a career in software engineering because virtually every industry in Nigeria today uses a computer, and a degree in this field would give me a career that is marketable in any business environment and with just one degree, I can work in the engineering field, medical field..e.t.c VO: Good ME: (smiling) VO: Who's sponsoring you? ME: I got $40k in scholarship per academic year and my aunt (VO cuts in) VO: That's a huge amount of money (smiling) ME: I was just relaxed at this point VO: How did you get it? Me: I took the SAT, TOEFL (cuts in again) VO: What did you score on the SAT? ME: I got 1430 on the new SAT VO: That's a good score ME: (I was just thinking about how I'll locate the pick up location) VO: I've approved your visa..... I heard the rest, but I can't remember rn. That's it broskis!! Thank you all |
