Started having sudden strong contractions by 9pm last night..7mins apart..
Got to the hospital by 11pm..was 2cm dilated..
Was checked by 12am..was 7cm dilated..
By 12.30am, the baby's head was crowning
And by 12.35am, my little angel came out screaming and hungry..

Adeime, just take things easy....
As a newly wed, learn to observe for a long time before acting....as in it saves you a lot of headache in the long run.
There are 2 sides to this:
1. She might be wary of being too forward with you. Like me, I dont give people's children food. If they come to play with my kids, nope. Cos I am afraid, what if they purge? What if they vomit? What if the mother has this strong African mentality of switching destinies? What if their mom beats them cos they ate in my house? And I'm sure their mamas will be like .....that Zaynie sef, she no dey give una food. But as soon as I get a clear from.their parents, no leles.

2.What if she cooks for you and expects you to worship her for that? My SiL can help to the core but she is also very rude and saucy, when I could no longer condone that rudeness, I had to stop her from helping me out. And the rudeness reduced.
My late MiL will not help/ give buy she will not disturb you.

So you can go ahead and ask Mama, " Mama abeg cook soup when you are coming o, I dont have strength to cook/ my food makes me nauseous, hoping that she takes a hint.
Or you just continue to rugged it, afterall in a few months, pregnancy will be over and you will be fine.

This one is more than hormones but u hv to apply wisdom. My hubby family comes more wen is away dan wen he is around n i think they are only showing they can care for me even if he is nt around even though am d one that will do the job.

It must be the hormone, so why come and stress me for food while you will just sit fold hands and wait for me to do etin without offering any help.
Last time she saw some clothes and asked who washed I said my security did and I jut tip him small,do you know the next time she came she brought her clothes for the poor guy to wash them

Hello mamas how are u all....so I just came to vent before I explode as I don't have who 2 talk to...dh is away half of the time due to the nature of his work like he's 1 month on and 1 month off
MIL comes in every now and then especially when dh is away and annoyingly I thought mothers are supposed to at least help and cook for the children..my own case no be like that o....b4 whenever she comes I'd carry my big belle and find her something to eat but these days I just act sick and she'd just sit there and bore me with stories I'm not interested in eventually she'd carry her bag and go since I took in she has never cooked anything or bring something for me as per how mothers do. So this evening when we spoke she now said 'how's my baby doing' .......abeg pls advice me o is it usually lyk this or na me get problem
I forgot to add she can't even come around like this when dh is around o cos that one will be like he wants his space and quiet
Abeg advise me o as I'm new to this whole marriage thing and I can't fit shout
