Hello mamas please does anyone know what CT pelvimetry entails I'm to do one during the week Dr said he needs to ascertain my pelvis width against size of baby head to confirm the mode of delivery whether via vaginally or otherwise
Please sabi mamas that have undergone this procedure help enlighten.tnx

Yeah there's a drug diaprin ( not sure of the spelling though) that I was given through my pregnancy I'm expected to take 1 tab every week probably that's qhy I've not had malaria thru my pregnancy .However some weeks back when I complained of fever and cold while I was being admitted for food poisoning the Dr prescribed an antimalarial

We are advised to do "my head, my shoulder, my knees, my toes......" at my place of antenatal. Like slowly first then very fast. From 14weeks.
Then when bending down, becos of bump, we can open our legs...

Hello mommas for those of us looking for excercises to do,so I went for my ANC today and Dr recommended the following squats-5 minutes,jogging (with knee raised high)-5 minutes, touch your toe-5 minutes. When I complained on VJ pain he said it's cos I'm not using it he recommended regular sex too
Please consult with your doctor's first so he will advise when to start as im a July momma. Safe delivery to us all . amen

From market it's like 2k5 I got.
From vitaform it's 7k.

Depends on your budget n pocket but be sure of the size of the bed first before going to vitaform.

The vita form is as thick as student bed while the market own is half the student bed thickness.

So, please my sisters:::::::

1...Always do a scan or several scans and pay attention to the results...
I was the one mitchyy was referring to when she said you should scan and rescan to be very sure of the results, to avoid stories that touch...
I did a scan at 36 weeks, and was told I no longer had placenta previa, but at 39 weeks, I had a ruptured placenta, due to placenta previa... If I had done another scan after 36 weeks, all the stress could have been avoided...

2...Always pay close attention to your body... Try as much as possible to be at an alert, so you'll know when something is wrong...
Trust and follow your instincts...
If I hadn't figured out that there was a difference between my BH contractions and real contractions, even though they were painless, I probably wouldn't be here today, telling this story...

3...Don't let anyone tell you that labor has to be painful... If you feel you're having contractions and they are not painful, head to the hospital... It's better for them to check you and be sure and send you back home, than for you to lose your baby or worse due to negligence... Let them send you home 10 times, it far better... Go to the hospital and disturb them, it is what you're paying for...
I was in painless labor from Sunday till Wednesday morning... And they kept telling me I had to feel pain to be in labor... What if I kept listening to them? What if God didn't keep my baby and I?
I keep wondering what the story would have been today, if I had stayed at home for 30 more minutes before going to the
hospital, or if I had stayed at home the entire night...

4...I've said it here before, and I'll say it again, don't ever feel bad or less of a woman if you're told you'll have to do CS to get your baby out... As long as that precious God-given gift comes to you, alive and healthy, to hell with whatever procedure he/she comes into the world through...
CS is a life saving procedure and we should even be thankful that it exists...
CS or not, be grateful for the special gift God gives to you...

5...Last, but not the least, never ever joke with prayers... No matter how weak you are, a quiet and simple "help me God" can go a very long way in your situation... Always ask for the grace of God...
Always pray!!! Never stop praying!!!


I pray for easy and miraculous delivery for all remaining moms here and the gift of the fruit of the womb for all ATC mamas too... May God put huge smiles on your faces in no distant time... Amen!!!

When u r trying to advice some1 dat sees u as a child...(ok now I'm laughing ).

To add to this I didn't know anything about bp until I got pregnant as I never go to the hospital, my bp was low and Dr asked a couple of qstns over time they found out I have an exceptional low bp naturally and Dr concluded since it's relative then there nothing to worry about depending on your medical history funny enough I just found out last week that my dad has similar condition as he's always add low bp. In all happy bumping dear

During my week 15, mine was so low that doctors checked me over n over again. Using manual and electrical method.
Electronic method showed 80)48 while manual one showed 80/70
Doctor said I should take water always with a pinch of salt.
They were worried for me and I should have fainted with how low it was but funny enough I was fine.

Maybe u should try d water n pinch of salt as often as possible.
Other mamas would say more.

This was given by a couple in church 2day...

They had bin married 4 8yrs n no issue,no fault of either of them,they were just waiting on d Lord,dey had prayed,fasted,lost faith,recovered faith,no sign,no infection no nothing.. they kept on hoping on d Lord.

The man's family told him to marry another wife,he thought of it,he seriously did,bt changed his mind @d last minute.. they thought of getting a wife,bt they didn't. They went to all churches u can tink of,yet nothing,they though of visiting herbalists,bt they didn't. They even stopped having sex,I mean wat z d use

11months ago d hubby came bk late 4rm wrk(he does sumtyms),she was angry,she sharp mouth smalll,d hubby told her to pack out,afterall no kid to suffer 4rm d divorce,she broke down,she cried,she called ha parents n dey told her to come bk home,she was nt ok wit that,she called her frnds dey told her to leave ha home,she was thinking of wat to do. She went down on her knees n she prayed,she prayed n she prayed n even at that she didn't find peace. So she fasted n asked God to help her n made sooo many promises(granted she had been doing dat). 

After much much ha hubby started talking to her n dey made up n made love,2wks later she couldn't find AF(normal sometyms too,she was advancing in age n didn't hv regular circle),6wks,no AF,no preggy sign no nutin,so she went to d hospital n part of hosp policy is to carry out preggy test on every lady that is withing preggy stage..

Lo n behold,she was preggy!!!! She couldn't talk all tru ha stay wit d doc..
N she delivered ha twin baby,boy n gal.

Just at d nick of her getting her blessing,d devil wanted to destroy ha home,wat if she wasn't vigilant,wat if she had given up n gone home... I urge all mommas here,pls let us b vigilant. Most tyms d devil uses quarrels n stuffs to stop our blessings 4rm getting to u.

Ps- I need to heed to my own advice n go settle wit dh... D guy can soooo mk person vex sha!!!!

Gdevng mamas hope weekend is coming well, before we start getting angry I think we should really appreciate people that make this thread lively not with useless information but very valuable information. Even before I joined I felt the love in the group so I really don't see each any reason why someone will talk about forming a clique or cartel here.
I am quite guilty as I hardly make any contribution half of my comments has been question n all but even if I don't get response in time I understand probably it hasn't been seen or nobody has an idea.
