I'm not entirely sure but I think you'll need to include your Bsc for your ECA since what you have is not an MSC, so you claim points for two or more certificate.
You can start processing your transcripts and start trying get reference letter (s) from your place (s) of work.

Thank you for painstakingly explaining the processes involved . Hubby just finally agreed to commence the express entry process yesterday as he was vehemently against it ,However see my profile below
Married ,age -29 hubby-37
Degree - PgCert UK; hubby -MSc Uk
Hubby brother also moving to Canada soon as well as he’s gotten his PR
When I took the CRS -
Me as PA-498; Hubby as PA -450 all of these with the provisos that we get min of 8 in each of the IELTS categories and also with a blood relative with a PR

Now my questions are do I go ahead and submit my degree for ECA without the Nigeria BSC because I didn’t see that category listed in WES website or do I process my Nigeria BSC alongside as well

Also whilst we are expecting some funds by the end of the month, are there other things we should do other than pray and prepare for the IELTS exams

Since he is on formula now,you have to give him more water,if he won't suck from the bottle ,spoonfeed him,just make sure he takes water at least 160-180ml per day

Hello mamas how are we......since I'd be resuming very soon so I started formula with my son after he took 150ml he slept off and I gave him bm when he woke directly from my breast n he took it.However, when I gave him the expressed bm this evening via the bottle he refused but when I gave him directly from my breast he latched on. Please sabi mamas please explain the change

Mama just be calm it's normal for babies to have temperature please do not fret too much and end up giving overdose....
Mine was not just hot he even refused to eat but I still cuddled him whenever he cried fast forward to today when we went 4 10weeks dose on getting home he was even playing n acting normal...In all just know that immunization calls for extra pampering and cuddling d pain may or may not be part of the package

Concerning taking expressed breast milk to creche I bought this tiny fridge on olx for 7k. Go to olx and search for fridge, then sort by price low to high. There are three: one is 3k and can take only one can/bottle, one is square, one is shaped like a football.

I bought the square red one it can take 2 big and 2 small avent bottles. I can certify it works well and is excellent for my purpose, but I've only used for one week so I can't vouch for durability.

I start cooling the fridge at home in the morning (in case no light at creche) then when leaving the house take out milk from main fridge and put inside. Then plug it in when I get to creche.

Ok o mamas I have decided to opt out of EBF I cannot come and kill myself abeg
I'm alone with my ds and decided to try expressing today this afternoon specifically; ds gulped down the 160ml in no time and still latch on my breast ( he didn't even give room for me to express more as He kept crying for more food) now that's not the problem the major problem is I'm home alone with him and everyone that came for omugwo have disappeared to school and my mum to her husband so I have no help
Today alone I was running pillar to post to bath him wash his clothes tidy the house and cook as my dh is around (although he'd be off to work 4 1 month)
Now I wonder how I'd couple all these with work when I resume hence my reason....Please any sabi mama in similar shoes that has successfully done EBF should advise how they went about it.

My case is easier cos mil came.i bought those avent storage cups.they are leak proof and can stack up and u can express directly to dem.
So my dd feeds every 2hrs. I normally express 5 120ml cups everyday.
I express d evening before and put in d freezer.
When am leaving in the morning. I bring out d first feed.tp thaw .it is den warmed in warm water not hot o.
While feeding her her next feed is brot out to thaw. Till i come back.


My colleague that used creche got a very good thermal bag.den got ice pack. She got one dt came with medela pump like a bottle so it stays.in d absense of dt u can get ur icepacks in a bottle or ice bags and wrap in nylon to prevent water from filling d bag when defrosting.
She puts d frozen milk in d thermal bag with d icepack.it keeps it chilled.then she has another bag for hottle water flask then the feeding bottles.she puts 3 or 4 depending on d hours u r away. She doesnt trust d creche with sterilizing.

So she made dfriends with d creche caregiver so they r extracareful in handling d bottle nipples.bought santizers for dem and soaps plus tips for proposed job well done.

She taught them how to thaw d milk at room twmperature den warm and give d baby.

Thats how she did her own exclusive.
It is very important to store milk in quantities ur baby can finish at one go. So they dont feed d baby with leftover milk.it is not advisable to do so.
So they jus pick a bottle per feed.

This was my plan b.but as God will have it mil was available. Hope it helps u.


Concerning hind milk.wat i do sometimes wis to feed baby after pumping.
Also sometimes i mix the first milk and the hind den share n the cups for storage.
Like cup A has d watery first milk and B has thick hind milk.
I turn both milk in cup C den share again between cup A and B. Quality milk

Please check my notes under each question.
Please always allow your baby to empty one breast before switching to the other one. Since you'll be returning to work soon I'll suggest you pump after breastfeeding d baby. This will also help your supply. Always empty your breast that is the surest way to know you are getting the hind milk.
Please, don't use hot water to warm your breast milk as it destroys the nutrients in it. Use warm water and shake at interval. While expressing you can use warm towel to massage your breast, this helps too. Take lots of water and please, hygiene is of upmost importance.

Answer to question 2,what I do is after expressing the milk,I put it in hot water and take to the creche in hot vacuum flask.
Answer to question 3,I express in the night and in the morning cos I don't refrigerate my milk and I must take at least 2 bottles

1.Can I use other tightlt sealed plastic containers to store the milk or must it be specifically labeled milk storage containers
2.mamas that use creche do you go with the frozen milk and let them thaw it themselves or you thaw before leaving the house,I have those feeding bottle warmers do I put the frozen milk there or warm
3.Is it advisable to express d night or day before for the next day use or
4.A mama mentioned about hind milk and baby's poop.please advise on this as well

Good morning mamas as regards the breast milk flow issue i remembered in the pregnancy thread when someone mentioned fenugreek as one of the solutions to boost the flow. However when I Google it is found out online that local name for fenugreek is ewedu......please can our yoruba mamas or any other Maka help verify this claim if it's true or otherwise. Tnx

My LO was 3.9kg at birth and by 6 weeks he was 5kg and we've been only on EBF so I'd say yes being on EBF will still make your baby look healthy and well fed

I'd advise you go to your LG as it will be easier ......I initially paid 2000 to my hospital for ordinary certificate but all they gave was birth declaration or something not quite sure and it didn't serve purpose then I went back to them for the certificate itself and I was reffered to my LGA which is surulere so I went with the birth declaration from the hospital and all we paid was 1,500
