Good evening boss. Thanks for your earlier response.

We inspected the wiring and no issues were noticed so we replaced the old plugs and went for a test drive, car drove fine all through. We later adjusted the gap on the new plugs and it moved well all the way home.

However there is another error code P2649 "‘A’ Rocker Arm Actuator Control Circuit High Bank 1". My mechanic seems confused and doesn’t know what to do. Any suggestions on what the solutions could be.

Is there a possibility of replacing the whole connection (wires and sockets) that runs to the ignition coil?

The accelerating keeps going off intermittently all through my journey home yesterday. I scanned and got a P0606 code (ECM/PCM fault). Any advise on the solution would be appreciated.

Drive by cable no sensor just controlled by cable, easy for mechanics to fiddle with, rarely gives issues.

Drive by wire, touch the wrong thing and issues starts computer controlled.

Good day, after physical inspection by a mechanic, no issue was discovered. He however suggested that I replace the throttle body. Does this sound like a possible solution? Car drives well asides from the fluctuating RPM.

Depends on whether it is drive by wire or drive by cable. Scan or give a technician for physical inspection

If engine takes three cranks to start and after starting the RPM is dancing azonto and you have to stable the car by depressing your throttle. Then it's possible you have a very dirty throttle body and dusty air filter.

Get carburator cleaner to clean the throttle body and change the engine air filter

Good day, I noticed an unstable RPM after I cleaned the throttle body. Engine takes like 2 cranks to start and the RPM is unstable even while driving. Any idea on what could be the problem? Car is Honda Civic 07
