Religion / Re: What Is The Cost Of Sallah Ram In Your Area? by adeniyi00(m): 11:12am On Aug 09, 2019
Good morning here. I really do not understand what is wrong with we Nigerian youths. We always look for opportunity to insult and divide ourselves especially here on nairaland.com. It is no longer funny at all. The title of this thread is what is the cost of Sallah Ram. There is no need for exchange of words based on your ethnic or religious belief. Older generations has failed us in terms of unity, we should not thread the same path. Nairaland is global, we should limit the way we insult ourselves. Happy Sallah in advance to all muslims and happy holiday to us all

Politics / Re: How Can Some States Remain Educationally Less Developed For 57 Years In Nigeria by adeniyi00(m): 8:11pm On Jan 12, 2018
But if those states don't change their mindset towards education, they will keep dragging the nation backward as a whole
Politics / How Can Some States Remain Educationally Less Developed For 57 Years In Nigeria by adeniyi00(m): 6:20pm On Jan 12, 2018
Good day Nigerians.
This post is not targeted to any particular tribe, rather it is an objective post that is entirely My opinion .
I often ask myself this question that “how can some states remain educationally less developed for 57 years of Nigeria’s existence” The crops of leaders in such states should bury their heads in shame. In my opinion, part of our problem in Nigeria is the so called federal character that often leads to the employment of some incompetent people to some sensitive positions irrespective of whether there are more competent and qualified hands from other regions. I have witnessed a case of Federal government employment exam where the cut off of some regions was 75% whereas educational less developed region was 55%.
NECO registra recently disclosed that 186 candidates took NECO exam in 2017 in an educational less developed state and the state recorded the worst result. We need to realise thaT until these states get educated and enlightened, the nation is going nowhere. This is simply because these states constitutes half of the senator’s and house of reps, in other words they are the decision makers.
In addition, these regions are highly populated meaning they have a lot of say in the choice of Nigeria president during election and consume huge part of the so called national cake.
Nigeria should wake up from its slumber and give all these states ultimatum to go out of the educational less developed states.
Politics / Re: Nigerians Are Always Giving Wrong Options Of Candidates To Choose From by adeniyi00(m): 10:35pm On Dec 30, 2017
If only we can come together and forcefully hijack power from the present leaders, that is when we are truly ready for change. These present crops of leaders have failed us, its the responsibility of the present youths to take power from them so as not to fail the incoming generations.
I totally agree with @KingsJohnson

If this is true, and people were actually scrambling for those things, Nigeria is actually in bigger problem. both the leaders and the followers have lost it.

4 semesters normally should be 18 months all things being equal, I think I spent roughly 250k for d schl fee, payment is flexible, u can pay every semester. The application is online, most departments in OAU admit pg students every semester.

The op is not totally correct, I just concluded my MSc in faculty of tech in OAU spending just 4 semesters. OAU pg program is research oriented, those that don't finish on time did not start their research on time. The time you spend for your program depends on how hardworking you are and your interaction as well as your relationship with your supervisor (very important). I started my research in my second semester combining it with my course work though very demanding, by third semester my field work was completed and my write up almost ready. I will advice aspiring pg student in OAU to start their research as soon as possible, that's what delay most people. My submission.

be friends wt doctors, ur redeployment is easy. A doctor in camp helped me.

Dnt let anybody deceive u that zamfara camp is boring, u guys can make it fun filled by urself. I camp almost one year ago, A14, D camp was fun. bt i later redeployed. enjoy ur camp to d fullest, u cant camp twice. While in camp i participated in almost all programs, i was a member of PET, that gave me d leverage to miss parade, i first joined OBS(orientation broadcasting services) i later left them cos it was boring me, i was in drama, cultural dance, i was later made d parade sub guard and i was in my plantoon football team. I enjoyed my camping. i always eat free fud in maami, by one maga of my camp gf always took me and d girl to maami. tsafe camp rocksssss.
pls go with ur sunglasses as well as nose guards. things are very cheap in camp, u dmt need to wt extra unnecesary loads.

WAo these attires are cool, I will love to get for my Ummu and my sisters, how do we contact u,
For those condeming the Op that thess clothes are not Islamic, Belief u me not everybody can reach the level of dressing completely according to Sunnah, its a gradual process, My Own fiancee for example started with wearing all these Spagheti and legins, Now she wears clothes like those ones the Op posted, and am very much contended with that for now.
I LOVE THESE ATTIRES
