Travel / Re: Usa Visit Visa by Adeogooba: 2:50am On Jan 02, 2014
Happy New Year to everyone, first I want to say thank you for everyones help on this forum.

I actually need help with a question for my business partner,he got a usa visa to attend a conference/exhibtion for the company but we have a business issue that just came up and its obvious he will not be able to attend the program as we planned this month.

so my question is, will his not attending this program for which he got the visa for affect his chances of visa renewal at the end of the 2years expiration of the visa?

can he go to usa maybe next month for another exhibition program without questions about why he did not attend the program he was given visa for in January by the immigration officers at the entrance point to usa?

thanks a lot

ayobj:

congratulations.
i am happy i contributed a small quota to this project.
bring back goodies for the boys!!!!!!!!!!lol grin
summer is going to expensive.
with 4 kids.
try and get close to 1.5million or 2 million naira.
dont know what your accomodation plans are.if staying in hotel or apartment, then not too good
Preferably buy your tickets now.it will be much cheaper.
congrats once again

@ayobj
Thanks ayobj, all the goodies for everyone o.
summer is expensive in uk,with all my searches, the cost of accommodation is seriously high, well we dont have anyone in the uk at all,so we booked an hotel accomodation when we applied for the visa but just found a vacation rental that is cheap and in central london zone 2,its far cheaper than the hotels too.yes our budget is within that range, and with the tickets cheap now, guess its better to buy now as you advised.its a once in year or once in many year event too,I owe it to my family this time really, this promise has been on for a foreign vacation for over 3 years now...I guess its just time.I hope we are able to do a france one day trip to disney land too. Thanks so much.

justwise:

Congratulations, enjoy your trip with your family.

vozkini: @Adeogooba,

To God be the Glory and this is to appreciate you great people WaleAbimbola, DisGuy Your contributions to my post here on this thread and to Justwise your response to my email really did help me with my decisions to apply for the uk visa and yesterday I collected the uk visa for myself, wife and 4kids.sincerely I want to thank these other people too,Babybird82,your story really inspired me to move on,Vicjustice, sincerely your many contributions helped a lot,Jt2010,Ayobj,Voskini,and so many many others I cannot mention all here, all I can say is thank you for keeping this thread, offering valuable advice that ordinarily should cost good money.Thank you for your free help.
Justwise and Vicjustice,I hope you guys would make wonderful consultants, lool, infact kudos!
To all in my kind of shoe then,a family vacation is possible for 6 pple at once, that was our fear, even when we went to submit pple were looking at us as if its such an impossible task, you could even hear people asking,6 people? of well to God be the Glory,HE makes all things beautiful.Thank you for this thread, one of the pages that helped me the most on this particular thread is this link and i think its very crucial to uk application:

6 Things You Didn’t Know About Saka
Ada Arinze | April 30, 2013 | 2 Comments

Saka,

You know his real name is Hafeez Oyetoro (or did you?) and that he is a funny actor you like to see on TV. You know he was the first ‘customer’ to port from Etisalat to MTN and that you would probably pay someone to teach you his funny trademark left-to-right dance. But did you know that-

He doesn’t like being called Saka: Although he is gradually settling into the name that the nation would probably continue calling him forever, it is taking some effort getting used to. This is because the name is so contrary to his true nature, as he considers himself a quiet and easygoing man.
The nickname ‘Saka’ came from his character in a TV show: Remember Area C and House Apart? Area C was a very popular show on Nigerian Police Men, and at the time it was the second most popular comedy show in Nigeria. That scored Mr. Ayetoro the limelight, and he went ahead to produce House Apart with a fellow colleague and played the role of Saka there, and so the name was born.
He is a lecturer: He teaches Theatre Arts in Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education. Imagine Saka as your professor! I would have guessed that he would be a very fun one, but he says “my students know the difference between Saka and Hafiz. When I am working, I am working, and when I am making people laugh, I am doing that. They are two different things; my students know the difference.”
He loves to do research: It is one of his hobbies, as a lecturer. He also loves to read and spend time with his children.
He was never signed to Etisalat: Although he was viewed as the closest thing Etisalat had as a mascot, he wasn’t even close, contract wise. For every advert that he did, he was paid on a normal 3-month advertisement payment model.
He is on a N20 million per annum contract with MTN, and he was contracted for 5 years. Ka-ching!

Hello great pple,

@Justwise and all the great pple..
Please i need your advice here.I just want to know what the best accommodation is for a uk tourist visa applicaiton for a family travelling together,a family of 5. out of the 5 only me the Father has a UK visa now. a friend of mine said, the embassy will not consider a family taking one bedroom apartment as hotel,he argues that it has to be 2 bedroom apartment for the visa to be granted. Now,i discovered that the prices of the 2 bedrooms aparmtment for summer are in the 3,000,4,000 etc pounds region for a week, for central zone 1 locations which host all the tourist attractions,.I will be in the UK for another business trip with my owned company partners and will like to have my family with me on a summer vacation.
I will like advise from all that have experience with applying for a group visa like this one. or those in uk already, advise on locations of interest in the central london and best places to trip my kids and wife and family shopping too.my main question is -is it compulsory to use a 2 bedroom vacation rental or will one bedroom vacation rental be ok for such application

thank you all
