Music/Radio / Re: Taio Cruz Flies Flag For Nigeria. Wins Billboard Hot 100 Song Of The Year by ADEOMOLE(m): 12:18am On Jun 06, 2011
Taio Cuz is a British singer. I don't know why we lay claim to what is not our own.
In the 80s we laid claim to Shade Adu.

These people don't represent Nigeria in anyway.

Oga o.

Audacity of hope.
Politics / Re: What's Our President Doing In Saudi Arabia? by ADEOMOLE(m): 8:18pm On Sep 26, 2009
Our president went for medical care.

He needs to be in good health to be president of Nigeria.

Every Nigerian knows that he is Saudi Arabia for a check up. So What?

I wish him well.

Should he resign his post because of his medical conditon? Yes/No

If at all he wants to. Would the king makers allow him?

Dem go talk say National Security?
Politics of the North and South.

Politics of Yardau and Jonathan.

So what do you want him to do?

If i were him, i  will take care of health as well.

Please don't talk about our medical system.
The decay has been done long before he came to power.

The mistake he made and its peculiar to us (Nigerians) all
Matters of health are considered private.

The president's PR group didn't do a good job.
Every government need to have some spin around them.

Otherwise, Reuben Abati and the Press in general won't come up with sensational articles like this.
After all, Adeniyi ( The president's press man)  is Reuben's friend.

Nigeria can only be great if we have a sytem that puts everybody in check.

If you know that a contract kickback will put you in Jail and a tarnished name forever.
You go think twice now.

Greed is human, fraud is common to all human race.

Countries that their system works have that special system that puts everybody  in check.

That is why when we visit America or UK we obey the law.

My friend use to tell me.

Ade if i am president.

I will revamp the Judicial System.

I will recruit experiences officers and retired service men  from India/China/Japan, South Africa/Brazil  and Britain/USA to train our Customs, Police,Navy, Army, Airforce , EFCC all over again.

I will revamp the technical and technology schools.

Pay rise for Doctors and Nurses to bring back those abroad and retain those in Nigeria.

Invite farmers from India/Brazil/Zimbabwe/Israel do help our agriculture. Promote intensive poultry farming

Bring Ryanair/Easy jet to compete and develop our Airlines.

Invite Indian/China to train and develop our rail system.

Massive investment in solar energy and electricity intrastructure.

If i'm able to achieve this alone. Tell me Nigerian won't be a better place in 8 Years.

Honestly. Good intentions.

But in Nigeria, would they allow you i asked? He shook is head.

To be in a position of power. You must be ready to die.
We need people of strong character and discipline in Nigeria
Politics / Re: Doctor Jailed For Obasanjo Death by ADEOMOLE(m): 3:06pm On Sep 22, 2009
some comments have read on this topic turns my stomach.

Honestly if i were minister of education.
I ll make Logic compulsory right from primary school.

Our thought process needs to change if we are
to move forward as a country.

Our Eductional system failed us.
Its most irrational to make some dirty comments i'm reading.

The fact is Stella Obasanjo was an Adult.
She can do whatever she likes with herself.

We were robbed of a first Lady by this incompetent Doctor.
Justice means someone has to be responsible for her death.

Justice will deter this mistake re occuring in the future.
At least other careless doctors will be more careful next time

Whether Obj is a good man or not is a different matter.
Whether it is a moral to do liposuction or not is a different topic.
Politics / Re: Doctor Jailed For Obasanjo Death by ADEOMOLE(m): 2:56pm On Sep 22, 2009
This isn't justice.

A life time ban
10 million Euros in compensation
from the Spanish Government for
giving a license to a careless and negligent doctor.
Closure of the clinic

Manslaughter?

Just turn around the circumstances.
A Nigerian doctor responsible for the death of an European First Lady?

This  negligent doctor suspended for 3 years is a slap on Nigeria.

Wait, in 3 months time , this guy will be released and asked to spend the rest of
his jail time at home.

After one year, he will appeal for his license and i bet he ll be back to work
after 18 months.

Come to the UK and see how doctors lose their licenses for life and
the same treatment applies in Europe.

Kai. what is £108k

If i were Obj, I ll appeal against the  judgement.

My people wake up.

By the way, why must we get the news first from the BBC?
Business / Re: CBN To Issue N5, N10, And N50 Notes In Polymer Substrate Like The N20 Note by ADEOMOLE(m): 4:20pm On Sep 20, 2009
If not for the politics of whose picture is in the currency.

Tafawa Balewa, Ivan Ikoku Murtala M'Ahmed,

N5 , N10 N20 and N50 are better made into coins.

Betterstill the redomination of the currency is best for Nigeria.
Business / Guaranty Trust Bank Paints London Red by ADEOMOLE(m): 11:19am On Aug 02, 2009
I am a customer of GTBank but not very particularly a happy customer of theirs.

They have commenced a massive targeted marketing on London Buses and Black Cabs.

In London City, its common place to see "GTBank Proudly African, Lagos, Liberia, Sierra Leone, London"

It makes you fill proud being a Nigerian. Its nice to see a Nigerian Brand packaged in that way.

We want more professionalism in all facets of our culture.

CNN has really benefitted from our ostentatious often stupid and needless adverts ( I go do pass you) we see on television.

If you want to catch Monkey you need to behave like a Monkey often said.

Imagine any of these Banks sponsonring a Solar Power initiative in any Nigerian Village, then promote how it has improved the local community and the how they intend to spread the project across Nigeria.

If this documentary is packaged on a 5- 10 Minutes Slot on CNN. The sponsoring bank will see an avalanche of international enquiries. The reason why, any green project is very catchy and fashionable in the West.

Lastly, can someone tell these Banks how Effective and Cheap Internet Marketing is.

We need to stop wasting our money as a country. Projects must be fit for purpose.

I believe the Banks can lead the way.
Politics / Briton Held In Nigeria 'refuses Freedom': Rebel Group by ADEOMOLE(m): 12:17pm On Jun 02, 2009
A Liverpool man, who has been held in captivity for nine months by MEND, the main armed militant group in southern Nigeria, has refused to be freed, his kidnappers said. Skip related content

Matthew Maguire is from Merseyside Enlarge photo

"Mr Mathew Maguire has declined the gift of a release from captivity with an argument that he is now an advocate for change in the region and a honorary member of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND)," the group said in an email to the media.

"This has come as a surprise to us and we can not forcibly eject him from our camp against his will," it said.

"He insists that his release should only be considered when Henry Okah is freed to participate in a credible peace process or has been allowed to travel for his urgent kidney surgery," MEND said, referring to the rebel group's leader who is on trial for treason.

Earlier on Monday, MEND said it planned to release Maguire later in the day as a birthday gift.

"Today, June 1 is Mathew Maguire's birthday. He has spent close to nine months in captivity and we hope to release him today as his gift," the group said of the oil worker who has been held captive since September.

He was abducted along with another Briton, Robin Barry Hughes, who was released in April on health grounds.

Hundreds of people, most but not all of them linked to the oil sector, have been kidnapped in the Delta in the past three and a half years.

Most have been released after a few days or a few weeks in captivity, very often after the payment of a ransom.

Properties / Re: Get Ready For Property Price Crash In Lagos by ADEOMOLE(m): 1:21am On Apr 21, 2009
As the effect of the credit crunch trickles into our economy.
Land and property owners are about to witness an awakening.

The simple laws of demand and supply still works.
Despite land being a fixed resource.
The property boom has been fuelled by a cartel of speculators and
free money. I mean the proceeds of corruption.

If the corruption persists, this might create an artificial demand but it won't last
But remember as at today a barrel of crude oil was sold  for $45.
It means less money for the boys and girls in govt. to share.

Honestly, I believe it makes alot of sense to rent in Lagos or Abuja.
Culturally owning a house is still very symbolic in our psyche.

The present prices are not sustainable.

But i don't know how many people share my economic view about the real estate industry.
