Please tell you friend that it is wrong to go against the order of God! Its the duty of a Man to make the first move irrespective of how shy HE maybe and that she should trust God for her Man. By the way, Its better to grow in Love than to fall in Love! As a young man, I have have ladies make passes at me before; I quickly run for them because they may be destiny destroyer and must time I disregard/disqualify them as potential spouse because they will go with another man with a better CV than me in the future. Reading through your profile and post, I will advice you to stay calm, do not fret, talk to God and he will order your step to the right person in his due time. Remember, If you rush in, you might rush out. Patience and trust in God is the key to getting a good wife. Peace! |

These two professions are very lucrative but here are the few differences I can identify which I hope may help your decision. 1. Entry level with a bachelors degree in medicine qualify you to earn good amount of money though am not sure of the exact figure when compared to other graduates. 2. Entry level as a lecturer is with a Masters degree which qualify you to be employed as a Lecturer II with average income about #150k. 3. In both profession, you have good and quality time to your self and your family except if you are into private practice which in the case of medicine, engineering etc can be done from home. 4. As a lecturer, you will spend most of your income on research and publications since Nigeria as a country does not have research grant for her researchers but as a medical practitioner, your money is for you and your family. 5. Finally, I stand to be corrected if need be, as you grow older in these professions, you become more relevant as a lecturer if you become a professor but in medicine you become less relevant as patients will prefer young chaps who have up to date knowledge and skills, However if you have enough money, you can set up a hospital to employ new chaps; without that, you will retire home earlier than you can think. Some people behave as if they have never done or said something irrational out of anger. Imagine yourself sweeping the floor of your room and your kid brother is pouring more dirts on the swept part of the floor, how will you feel? Let stop been economical with the truth and also put aside sentiment and our differences - We are one and we should be one! I love the way Nigerians live abroad - ONENESS!!! God bless Nigeria!!! |
"If any body tell you fire is burning on water, tell him to bring the ash as an evidence" - Yoruba Proverb. Let Doyin Okupe and our dear president produce an official document confirming the deposit of the money with CBN and let them follow the due process instead of tarnishing the image of this country with their propagandas. |
You should be tried, convicted and jailed for impersonation. |
Whether promised a ministerial post or not, NIGERIA Education Sector (University and other levels) is very SICK and need a radical and resolute approach in order to restore her health. No other nation on earth as rich as Nigeria have sub standard and failed system like ours. Nothing is working in Nigeria - Education, Health, Power, Transportation etc. Nigerians... Which way forward? |
Madam, If you are a Christian I will advice you go back to God in prayer to forgive your husband for his wrong doing and forgive you for failing to forgive your husband, then pray that God should restore your marriage. You cannot love without first of all forgiving. God bless you, your family and restore your marriage in Jesus name. |
PAGAN 9JA:As a Civil Engineer, I am modelling and simulating phenomenon like Tsunami, Typhoon and Flood. I can tell you that you can't compare the destructive power and potential of Flood to that of a Typhoon moving at a speed of 232 km/h. Imagine how u feel in a car moving at 100km/h. Technically speaking, the statue should not be standing but God is God: He uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise! |
@Ops, The properties put together is not worth your LIFE! Let it go, work harder to be a good and responsible man and plan your life. Learn from your late Dad mistakes. Forget about the properties. Afterall, some people who even have access to such family properties let them go because they want to stay alive. He who fight and run away, lives to fight another day. People are really wicked and desperate. Be careful and be warned!!! |

dominique: As a public figure, she should have come clean and disclose her fertility issue much earlier. She used to tell journalists that she didn't want kids and she'd prefer to adopt. Her story could have touched and educated a lot of people in similar situations. Anyways, better late than never. Good for her.Can you come out clean and tell us your own condition? You talk like one of those foolish people, Is it that easy? |
propzncribz: Its simple, any lecturer that fails to turn up to class should be sacked with immiadiate effect. I mean in a society where you have millions of people looking for job, some are doing shakara. Nonsense. You will soon understand! Do you know what it takes to get a PhD? Many Nigerian scholars abroad dont wish to return because the academic environment is not encouraging... 1. Our libraries are stocked with outdated books; 2. You cant borrow a book from the library because there is only one copy or fear of the unknown; 3. Few or No university have free Wi-Fi connection for the lecturers and students; 4. No power supply; 5. Laboratories are almost empty and the few equipments that are available are outdated; Imagine submitting a research paper to Elsevier or John Wiley, claiming you have made a contribution to knowledge whereas the equipments you used are obsolete with high error tendency. 6. So many more... Of a truth, some of the lecturers are bad - dubious, without personal integrity etc but that should not stop the good ones from demanding for the right thing. My friends, If you have the opportunity of studying abroad you will see the difference - Countries that are not up to us are doing well with functional educational system and are ranking high on the QS world university ranking system. I pray God help us! My submission, we need a better government that desire to see a new NIGERIA where everything is working!!! |

Another waste of Resources! Why not blend the GIS with NYSC? Paying #25,000 for GIS and #19,800 for NYSC per graduate! To make things worst, Useless Politicians who have not propose a single bill in years are voting to support under age marriage and harvesting millions monthly courtesy tax payers money! Then a minister who does not know what it mean to be poor talk more of attending a glorified secondary school called Federal and State Universities in Nigeria will say 'the government cannot fund the education sector'. Tomorrow, another set of Britons will say stay in your country and develop it... I don't blame them,I blame our useless leaders! Just like Egypt, Bharian and others, Politicians beware! Nigeria youths are coming for your head soon! Revolution is here! |
