A well organised Virtual Brand Launch... |
Going through this scenario, you met a handsome guy who works with a multinational with good pay and later losses his job. The question now is will you leave him/break up with him because of his loss in job. Sometimes in life we just need to be realistic and real to ourselves. |
Its been very bad power supply in my area in Satellite Town Lagos (Closes Area near learning Field) to be precise. To my observation i noticed that those on Old Ojo road from Alakija to Mazamaza to festac do have stable power supply...Sometimes i wonder if Eko Electricity company do us a favor by given us light just for 1hr in a day ... In addition to this, we still get over estimated bills and threats by their workers and tout to disconnect our electricity supply (how can you disconnect the service you don't get doesn't it sound strange and uncalled for). Please note Eko electricity company if they are reading this you can't be charging me 10k to 15k every month for a two bedroom house for supplying electricity for less than 24hrs in month... Its not done and its not right and please bring back the electricity to the above mention. |
Power Outage in Closes Satellite Town Lagos... Very Poor Power supply. We've not had power supply since Saturday making it 3days now we had power last in the area... Will appreciate if anyone can help me with telephone numbers so i can complain. The bill also is on the high side. Eko distribution company billed 15k for the month of July a 2bedroom apartment. This is highly unfair and knowing the fact that we dont even have the power we still get crazy bills of sort. |
Olad in Satellite Town sells for N150 per litre... |

@ Yemmight, wanted to know if uve heard of cipd (chartered institute of personnel and development) a professional body in the uk. how recognised are they in Nigeria compared with cipm (chartered institute of personnel management). Cipd is the HR professional body here in the UK and I'm presently on my final stage becoming a graduate member with the institute. Now, what i need to know is that do i have to go through Cipm to become an HR recognised practitioner in Nigeria since i will soon become a graduate member of Cipd which also qualifies me as an HR practitioner, please, i would like you to enlighten me more on this because immediately after my course I'm coming back to Nigeria to start my dream career in HR , kindly advise on this. Also, pls could you explain the what an HR Business Partner role in Nigeria and the principle of the model Hr business partner to how they function in organisations in Nigeria. As we know already the concepts of HR Business Partnering is to create value and deliver results for organisation to meet its customers needs, "David Ulrich" challenges HR professionals to define the value they create for its customers and employees, This is by delivering results, focusing on the outcomes and results of Human Resources work and to being more cost efficient, innovative and structured to adapt to its organisational mission, goals and its objectives, Yemmight, would love you to elaborate more on the above questions and would be most appreciated if a reply can be given to my message, Thank you please Yemmight, im still expecting your reply on the above thank you and God bless you sir, |
@ Pepeye, I woudnt say its laziness, but yes it could be, not all 3rd classers are lazy some would have gone through one problem or the other could use a female friend as an example who actually got a third class because she did not go to bed with her lecturer who actually fustrated her at the end of the day, Remember every aspect, sector in the Nigeria system is corrupt its only by God grace that we are even surving in that sort of environment, All hope is not lost at the poster, infact hope isnt lost at all, go out there and prove yourself which you really need to do to convince that u can do the job and always put God first, im not saying this to the poster alone but to everyone contributing in this post, and again as i said in my previous post attach yourself to an organisation to gain loads of experience it would help you a whole lot so you could have an edge over others when changing jobs, but wud also advice try to be an enterprenuer and employ the so called 2.1 and 2.2 graduates, takia |

Really n truly i am tired n fed up reading some of the posts put on here, most of these posts are not motivating and encouraging at all, Anyways, what i need to say to the poster is that there are whole loads of things you could do with your third class but firstly, i would say you should believe in yourself and take up challenges, Now let me tell you what you could do, u could go for postgraduates degrees or professional courses to develop yourself more, With this professional courses you could become recognised in that chosen profession and have an edge over those who believe their first or second class is all what they need to succeed out there, you dont have to loose hope cos u have a bright future ahead of you, make good use of today to get the best of tomorrow and believing that u will succeed in all your endeavours, One thing i have come to know is that most of those with first and second class are still going to be trained when recruited so dont think they know all of course they don't, reason why there are professional bodies to fill that gap to train and develop people out there to become worldwide professionals, Also, try gaining some experience in your area of interest look for organisations that would train and develop you with the knowledge you need to compete out there with your peers, So come on what are you waiting for you can do it and yes you can so do not loose hope, My prayer for you is that you shall be great, You shall be lifted and it shall be well with you Amen, ALL THE BEST, |
