In as much as what that woman did is very wrong, I've never see any government that loves social media clout and eye service like this Lagos government, especially this Sanwo Olu administration, the eye service is just too much. For your first question, the cadet officer was still a student and not yet a graduate, the NDA is made up of all military wings( Air force, Navy and Army) for both students, admin and lecturers.

So when matters are handled it could be any wing of the military or a combined team that handles it same with the NDC which is for senior ranking officers who are about to become generals.

On the other hand I don't think he was on session in the academy at the time the incident happened because I don't think there is any NDA school in Abia state, he was supposed to graduate in a few months time, the only NDA I know is in Kaduna, so he may have been home in Abia for holiday, maybe the sallah holiday.

So the reason why the army handled the case might not be far fetched, Is there an airorce base in Abia state?

If there is none then the next available military wing will most likely handle the matter.


For your second question, what you should also ask is if other civilians were also swimming with him, could it have been that they told him not to swim and he insisted and because the hotel did not want any issue with the military they let him have his way?

Because the entire story I don't think I have read anywhere they said other people were also in the swimming pool aside him and his cadet friend or friends, those with him swimming are the ones that should have been interrogated more to know what really happened....

And lastly from your statement it looks like you are not even empathetic about the hotel manager's life that was killed for something he might totally innocent about, we know how arrogant and sometimes wicked some military personnels are, what if the hotel manager tried to prevent him from swimming and he decided to have his way?

And the hotel manager is now dead for something he might likely not even have a hand in, so I don't know who your last statement is referring to( the cadet guy or the hotel manager) because the last time I checked 2 people died and one till now no ones really knows the circumstances that led to his death while the second is purely a case of military brutality on someone we are not even sure is guilty when even the real thing that happened has not been established.

Yet they have judged him and executed him.

The question is why did they kill the hotel manager? Is it even lawful under the law ?

Now the same military came back in retaliation to torture and kill the hotel manager for what reason?

People like you will justify the military killing civilians for killing a soldier but will not justify civilians killing the military for killing a civilian.

Many contradictory claims.

1.
If life jackets were freely available and Junior Pope and some other passengers of the boat rejected the jackets, why did AGN suspend Adamma? And if so, why hasn't Adamma condemned her suspension and accused AGN of injustice? Think about this.

2.
TC said marine police said, "You people refused to come and hire jackets from us". But you now claim jackets were freely available. So, even the other dead victims and the missing ones rejected the free jackets?

TC never said anybody provided free jackets and anybody rejected the jackets. Consider his claim about the marine police saying the passenges refused to hire jackets. TC should be questioned about this claim that jackets were rejected. I suspect a connivance by the police and the movie producers against TC. Recall that the TC said the police wanted to take him to a police station. And if the AGN does not defend (justify) its suspension of Adamma, I suspect that the AGN has been bribed to support the conspiracy. How can the AGN suspend Adamma and keep quiet after seeing the statement from Adamma? Think about it.

I earlier saw a post on this same Nairaland. In the post, the boat driver claims that Junior Pope refused to pay for a life jacket. One says free jackets were provided while another one says Junior Pope refused to pay for a jacket. Think about it.

According to TC, the boat driver who was not concentrating on the boat movement was trying to show his face on video when the boat hit another boat. No other person has claimed another boat was hit. Now, the accident is blamed on TC standing on the boat. If TC standing was a challenge to the driver, did anyone confront TC and what was TC's response? According to the video I watched, TC does not deny standing on the boat. What TC said about the sanding is, "How can a pilot say that a passenger standing on a boat is obstructing the pilot's view?". So, if TC standing was the cause, did the pilot complain before the accident? I don't believe the accusation against TC. I think they just want to lay hands on the fact that TC stood up on the boat. Other survivors should stand by the truth to counter the accusation being leveled against TC.

TC never said Junior Pope was alive to say anything after the boat accident. But now, it is said that Junior Pope was asking if everything was okay. TC didn't mention that a gallon was thrown for Junior Pope.

This case is like that of Mohbad. The fact that all the victims were old enough to insist on getting life jackets is a different topic. The reports are shady. Something serious is being hidden.
