@ brainy if u are not very skillful u can not track nile sat in lagos with 2.4 but it is possible if u are good, iam using 2.4 pan curently and i want to upgrade it by moving to 3.2, on 2.4 u will not get the H transponder and ur aljazeera will be available only @7pm to 8am so ur choice.

@ brainy if u are in lagos 3mt is enough for u to get jsc on nile sat and u can add atlantic bird 7w to the nile sat at the same time, if u are in bayesta,delta,port then u can get itnon badry or better still motorised the dish u will get it on both hotbird and nilesat, i know the suscription is 20,000 a year but i dont know how much they sell. Or go for (cs) if u are using it @ home but to show ball u will not be able to split, no more question read the past tread.

@brainy it all depend on ur location, but get 3.6mt dish u can get aljazera on badry or nilesat even hotbird, aljazeera is 20,000 above for one year excluding the buying of the card, u will get it and suscribe @ alaba i hope this help.

@sammu i encounter a lot of sat loss at the back, w4,pass7/10,astra2b,hotbd, so i have decided to bring it back to it former place,still waiting 4 phcn to restore our damage ligth for me to see way to weld the pole to the railing, but it will not be tall like before to make it solid.

@sammu i did as u advice i raise the pole and tonigth i was able to lock on 11938 mbc package tommorow i hope to increase the signal i got 11938 at 48% it may be because of rain that fall in lag today, what ever u think may be of help to increase the signal pls let me know

@sammu i learn in hard way today, the tracking gave me big prob,i can not receive w4 to pas7/10 the building has block it, i use sirius4 to do the tracking not knowing sirius4 can be tracked 2side, one side will give u 94% on 2.4 but u will not get any other sat along the arc, the other side will allow u to get other sat on the arc,before i knew this it was 530pm since 11am know i can receive astra2b, w3c, astra4, ,w3a, atlantic b7 nw beam, no nile,hotbird,w6 at21e,atlanb5w,nnnnss22w.may be i will retrack another day.

@sammu i have encounter a big problem in istalling the dish,the hand of the jack is seriusly disturb by the roof of that church, can i turn the jack to rigth hand side when u face east and the in clination bolt & pipe left side when u face east will it work? I agree with u on pass7/10

@sammu the rain remove part of my roof & break the pipe carying the dish i have got another fat pipe also put another pipe inside the fat one to make it double,i will install the dish @ the back of the building now hope this will help solve the winmax inteferance., but my fear is the building may be covering the signal you know it is 2story & 4rm the dish to the building is 2.5 to 3mts, are u back in lag? All this 3 satellites are not on the same arc.use atlantic-bird 3,but to achieve this your dish should be able to bend sideways to the left when it is facing west or bend sideways at the left when you stand at the back of the dish on atlantic-bird 3 @ 5west and  when moved to 0 degrees it should bend  sideways to the left when standing at east.if you are already receiving sirius 4 at4.8east,atlantic-bird 5 @ 5west,nilesat @ 7west,then you are already receiving satellites that are not on the same arc.

@odilibe thanks to u all this ku are receiving by me 4rm nss22w to intel 7/10 68.5east it is just iam trying to see how the ofprint bird like nile & hotbird signal can be increase by lossing some signal on receivable beam. Like if adish is fixed on a offprint bird it gain more signal than motorised dish.

@Bright02 ur lnb rod is okay but my tv dish have 2type there is on to track w3a and all the other sat i guess the one u buy can not move more than that, or check the dish u may not couple it well there is up and down 4 the back holder, or remove one of the back bolt and use only one bolt to track ur w3a, i hope u get my point it is not the lnb rod that short but either u did not couple it well or ur dish is not desing to track up bird.

@odilibe thor5/6 ku are not available here in nigeria, intel10-02 also u can only get the cband here, so the sat that are available are sirius4, atlantic b@5w, so wich sat will i use now @the top of arc to get the sat that are out or the arc, @George you are silent on this the question goes to u also pls. @ obnely my man the way u are going i will not be suprised if u get how to nail nile on 90cm pls keep it up.

@ibaku that is why ur hotbird are so high because it is fixed dish, if it is motorised u will definitly loss some signal to compesate on others satlite may be one day i will visit u in amuwo to see ur set up, take care.

@ibaku pls is ur 2.4 fiber motorised and if so what are ur nilesat % if u move the dish to west, finaly where is ur location in lagos iam in surulere, just want to compare with my 2.4 motorised pan to know what to do

@George-d and odilibe pls i need ur explanation on this, sat alignment says nile sat is 262.416 of azimuth, w4/7 is230.149 and intel7/10 is 120.532 azimuth now all this are not thesame azimuth how did a motorised dish manage to get all this sat when moving the dish in elevation alone, as i understand rotation of the dish on the pole clockwise is call azimuth. Pls kindly sheld more explanation this pls.
