Pls am having a 4.4M Dish in Lagos but find it difficult to track JsSport 1-10. The maximum I get is 1-5. I really need your advice on what to do. I was hearing that it is only 4.8 or 4.9 that can be use to track it in Lagos. The amount to build a new 4.8 dish now is 120k.

Kindly advice me eeeeee oooooooo my Guru's in the house.

i am in lagos and i am receiving the jssp 1 to 5 with 2.4 on nile sat with your 4.4 if you are good you should have 1 to 10 on hot bird or badry good luck.

I want to get MBC 1,2,3,4,Action and JSC Sports +1 - +10 (will purchase a card if needed)

What do I need? Dish size? best KU lnb? 4922 / 4669 decoder ?

I called someone off a reference on this thread, I was quoted N110,000 (steep) for a 4.7m dish and N30,000 of Al Jazeera 1yr subscription.

He said on a 4m dish is possible but the signal would go at sunset (5pm).


I am open to any cheaper alternative (not DSTV) if possible. It doesn't have to be Al Jazeera.
Also the dish size is a problem, because it's quite big.


Essentially, what is the smallest size dish /decoder / subscription I can watch the Premier League at my location?

odilibe: This is getting funny in enugu dubai one frequency on nilesat 201>> 11785V is used as tracking tp for nilesat aside from the NWA beam channels...cos nilesat 201 dubai one signal is more stable than Mbc 11938 on nilesat 102 while jsc sports on 102 is weaker than Mbc tp....since nilesat 201 are not received on 2.4mtr dish in lagos .. this means that people in lagos will lose MBC signal and jsc sports completely on 2.4mtr pan dish....when nilesat 102 channels fully migrates to nilesat 201..

If you locked Nilesat 201/102 ...you should be getting good signal on Dubai One @ Nilesat 201 than MBC or jsc sports @ Nilesat 102...May be you locked NWA BEAM...just checking.

Long time. Hope you are good?! Anyway, we've have later correspondence and from what he is saying, he is not referring to the Scrambled MBC HD channels you'll need technosat decoders to unscramble. From what he is saying there is a free to air on that is available on 1m dishes for the countries i mentioned above. Those are the ones i want better clarification on. Whether they are channels that have been moved to the maghreb beam or the transmit power of the MENA beam has now been increased. You are aware the time we have spent in the past trying to get these channels but from their information, they've been watching it for about a year now. That is what i really want to understand. There is a 3m mesh lying outside i'm not even using now but it's the time i don't have. So not to go out again searching to an end without knowing if it's actually receivable or not, i want a clearer picture so i know what to look out for when i decide to go out there to track.

The box is a bit expensive it still cost £149..but i may give it to you as second new 6months old,though the box has been in it's carton case for sometime..
