@George,odilibe, how do we measure the azimuth and elevation angle of a dish ? Is there any equipment needed to use to make sure if they are in correct degrees. Secondly is azimuth is the side elevation off a dish, do we need to measure with tape starting 4rm level ground or how do we go about this pls explain. Thanks

@Badaru i think i agree with u on my setup, a year kungu told me thesame he even advise me to move the dish to face a tree or house to protect it 4rm interferance, and i notice since intel 7/10 is facing down against a building that is why i can receive some channel there. Pls if u have tracking freq for mbc nilesat on yagi antena pls drop it 4 me thanks.

@Gadotor the dish is 2.4 solid motorised,with fuji lnb as prime focus, supermax cband attached to it on top just like George-d set up pics, the set up is on top of my stair above the close building. Is there any cband lnb stronger and perform better than supermax?

@George-d how are u , it is one year now that u told me to be patience 4 my cband signal, up till now there is no improvement, i can only get aljazeera on 68e and the signal stable at midnigth till 7am before it went off. Arab sat 20e i got 97% and it it is just fluctuating no stable chanels, nss703 at 57e i got 64% no green what did i do wrong the lnb is supermax. I am waiting 4 ur reply.

@lovala w3c is so easy than what iam hearing 4rm u, firstly if u are not on motorised ur dish may be wap if not set ur lnb to 4oclock when facing the dish track sirius 4 @4.8degree east, make sure u hit 95% on 12605 v 29950 then ur dish is good to go 4 w3c, just drop the dish down a little and move it to ur rigth hand while u are facing the dish. George & the rest merry xmas and happy new year in advance, to add on what odilibe said tracking one bird alone is far defrient from motorising to nail multiple bird, with my motorised 2.4 i can not nail badry 6 but badry 4 is on and nile, hotbird are all receiveable, if i decide to nail badry alone i will adjust the dish to it, so i agree with odilibe that badry is not on thesame polar arc with nile and hot bird. Pls George ur view and opinion is needed on this. We are all learning.

It is true what obnelly told you about moving a 3.6m fibre dish from Lagos to Port Harcourt. Because of the cost implication, your best bet is to find a local moulder to do it. Here in Warri I think the biggest size you can get is a 3m mould.
However, if you insist on going for 3.6m then its best to go for pan which can be disassembled and moved easily over long distances and at a reduced cost. At the end of the day the choice is yours to make.

@George-d kindly tell us where in nigeria can we get 3mt above solid pan dish, as u have known i am stuck with my 2.4 since 2yrs just because i can not get a detarchable dish of strong type in 3mts above, and i can not increase the one ihave, because of moving i can not go 4 fiber pls respond

@kungu/George the lady is justify to use another decoder in my own opinior,listning to the woman yesterday, she said she is paying £800 to sky every month on suscription, then she saw the greek decoder with £700 yearly with thesame package. @ toba use 11919v27500 it stable and reliable on my 2.4 pan i am getting 52% but while 10758 is not stable, but remember that hot bird did not have much english channels like nile the italia is more than english, iam in lagos like u.
