AFN:64.2east=1.8meter,22west=1.8meter...... you may need 1.8m to2.4m on 1west!...2.4m will work well for all channel on 64.2east and 1west and 34.5west c band!

@sokopion ur conribution is well appreciated but what we are all eager to learn is how do we edit the ini file on strongs box because 4930 does not have powervu encrpt just nagara,ideto,viacese,cryptowork,conax on the patch key so how do we include the powervu @odilibe ur contribution is needed on this we all want to learn step by step @swordwifter long time pls what ever the issue let peace be i know dodo may be there is missup some where.

Sorry I'm seeing this a little late but without meaning to discount what others have already posted,
I think you're very much on track to getting those coveted packages on nilesat. The 10992v tp that
you got is usually the first step in the process of tracking nilesat and is mostly used by installers to
confirm that their dish is working ok. Now that you've gotten this tp, the next step is to bump your
dish upward 2 or 3 notches (with your jack). Forget about your dish neck not being plumb at this
stage. It is not necessary - this will only come into reckoning when you want to track the arc from
east to west. So, bump up the dish carefully two or three notches and adjust the neck as you go.
Change your decoder frequency to 11766h, 27500sr (bbcworld) and watch the signal bars as you go.
If it doesn't hit green after 4 or 5 notches, stop and come down again gradually until you get back to
the spot where you got 10992v on green and begin to go up again while adjusting the neck.Do this
until you hit green. If 11766h is proving difficult, try 11977v 27500sr (CNN). Try and lets see how it
goes. Best of luck!

Which of the mbcs? If it is the one on Nilesat then it's still very much on and dancing steadily on my 4m dish.

@George d long time i have install my 4mt viber but up till now i cant receive mbc nile sat but i got 12130 v27500 @70 and many more transponsder also my hotbird is 70 i also have badry fox movie but no mbc i gues mbc is no go area for us again in lagos

If it gives me headache al have to extend or reduce the lnb support arms n play with the focal point....currently am on 7e European beam highest strength being 10762V on 87% and 11679V lowest on 77%...if I get an extra 5% am sure al nab the Europe A beam which resembles that of hot birdbird

@ODILIBE the dish was test on 13east and i got 950 channels all together the highest tp on 4930 was 70% the rest are 60 to 65 i also got Badry 26east with ad sport 65% on 7 west mbc is 65% i think on 4mt it should be more than this what is ur signal level on strong box at hot bird and nile see the pics bellow

@ odilibe the dish is fiber i will be need ur assist concern all the tp u request me to try let the dish be revoil then tracking will follow i bet iam already dieing in silence inmagine i have to cough out 20k to area boys and son of soil before the pole and dish hang now iam brinnging it down for foil another 12k to revoil sky uk must fall and sky italia to follow i knew mbc will be no probl also ptv sport and hipasat also digiturk . If there is no element of metal on the surface of the dish then it won't reflect satellite microwave!
Aluminium satellite dish seems to have more gain than steel/pan etc..since aluminium is a good conductor of electricity and can reflects microwaves than steel etc!a fiber dish wrapped with an Aluminium foil will almost have same effect!
Wrap the 4m dish with Aluminium kitchen foil then repaint the dish!
I hope all will agree with me lol..

@ODILIBE,GEORGE D BLEXONMAC i urgently need ur input on this my 4mt dish has no more reflector on face again no single one like this can it bring out signal even eutelsat w4 36 east just to track and align the neck before i refurbish it i don't want to waist my precious time on tracking if it will not bring any signal thanks

get a new flash load only the 4950h software bin rom plug the box off it from back put the flash then on the box it will load by itself

My fellow Nlers, pls i need ur urgent assistance, in the process of upgrading srt 4950H somebody closed 2 me just mistakenly shook the power cord and its got 'fried' ever since i ve been trying to wake it up but upon all the software i used the Rx kept popping with this ' cann't find rom.bin'.
