Please read!!!!!!

Morning guys,
Due to the influx being experienced.... kindly please take a bit of advise in order to get things running smoothly and secure desired responses to queries;
* do a bit of research on your own (Google... Schools website.... Canada immigration website)
* ask straight to point and relevant questions that will encourage contributors go all out to provide answers.
* go a step up by also researching answers provided to you.... On CIC web or Google.
* do not be in too much a hurry in expecting responses as contributors will need to study and provide accurate answers so as no to further mislead you.
* most importantly.... Be tolerant and respect one another (either posts... Comments... Responses...or criticisms) shocked
That's how we roll here!!!!!!... shocked shocked

Kindly take note!!!

Please guys help me here, can someone with a cgpa of 2.5 at of 5.0 do a masters course in Canada, help a brother

possible but hard. Try PGC(D) in a course that has similar name with your BSC. e.g PGC in Statistics, if you have BSc Statistics but prepare to spend close to CAD 35,000.

Pls I need advice, I have B.sc geology and a Msc in petroleum Geoscience both from nigeria. I currently don't want to do a phd in petroleum geology considering the current sitiation in the oil industry. I want to switch to environmental management or geomatics. I am currently looking at applying to USASK and University of New Brunswick. I have a feeling the VO will raise a red flag at doing another Msc. I am in a fix. Pls can the guru in the house advice.

with the little i know, doing another Msc shouldn't be a problem if you ignore it in your visa application and can explain, with proof, what you have been doing between your Bsc and the visa application time. However, admission in another course bearing a name not similar to that of your Bsc may be more problem.

I have a year and four months experience in banking although as a direct sales agent, would this help as an evidence of carrier change?

I guess with enough document to prove it e.g employment letter, study leave letter, and a well detailed SOP. Possible but will still be a risk.

Now, Best 2 with 4.00 and above CGPA auto qualify as Graduate assistant. I have no idea about non-teaching positions.

Hello House,

Please i need urgent advise....

My sponsor is delaying as regard bank statement and letter .....Please can i sponsor myself and how much should i have in my account?

My admission is for September 2016.

Thanks
You can sponsor yourself if you have ;
Enough to cover school fees + CAD 10,000 living expenses + like CAD 3,000 to show you have more = if you single with no kids.

Good evening everyone.

I intend to use my uncle as sponsor.

He gave me a his company statement of account with a closing balance of 7m.

I demanded for his personal account buh he told me he doesn't often use his personal account and as such funds doesn't run through the account.

In addition to his company statement of account he also gave me the CTC of the certificate of incorporation of his company plus CTC of the particulars of directors showing he is a director in the company.

Although I also intend to use my dad as sponsor.

He also has a closing balance of 1.5m in his personal statement of account.

Please kindly advise on whether I can get a trv with my situation.

Your inputs will be most appreciated.

Cc bamz, arcayo, haqinsfsb, kriss

Trust me, You have best human hands on your case already. Add God to it as well.

Dare for me i got the IGSES with admission acceptance but was asked to send official transcript as special conditions now the IGSES reflects on admission letter, so i guess hard copy still needed for verification

Thanks. Now I need a professor of urban geography/Spatial analysis. God is Good.

Congratulations.

You can pay the fees when you resume, after the IGSES funding has been applied to your tuition and you know exactly how much you will have to pay. Just ensure you pay before the deadline. Deadline is usually mid September I think.

Advisably, when you get to Canada, go straight to your department so they can register not only Fall courses (I assume you are coming in Fall) but also one winter course (at least) so the IGSES funding may be applied. Then, you go to the University Centre, 5th floor, with your admission letter stating that you've been granted the IGSES funding. After the funding has been applied, you then decide when to pay the rest of your tuition.

And you pay it per term. What department if I may ask?

Bro, can someone get the IGSES with online copy of transcript submitted during application or official hard copy is compulsory for it?

What your research interest?, which schools did you apply to?, which schools do you plan to apply this time around?.

Interest urban geography/city planning and GIS. Ryerson, Toronto and Manitoba. Any 5 that offer funding. That's my believe too. Go to your school, you may be helping with the supervisor part in your school. Lolz. Which school you going?

Relax or mail the department. You sure get a positive reply by God's grace.

Hello house, please I av couple of questions I need answers to urgently so as to advise a sister. Is it okay for a wife and the husband to apply for study permit at d same time, or is it a red flag for visa denial? Another question is, assuming d husband decides to defer his application...can my sister apply for study visa with her two kids- one is just some months old n d other about 3years, or is this also a red flag for visa denial?
Please I need responses to these questions so as to be able to advise her correctly. Thanks a bunch

Partners in marriage are sure bet when they don't apply together ( but applying together is allowed too). However, available funds must be high enough in both cases. Shalom!

please Bro. does that mean that any body with lesser GPA than 4.0 but still within second class upper can't get findings?
please advise. thanks

Everyone can but her question was more of scholarship related. Just giving her the best advise she need to put her on the upper rank of profiles since she's still in the profile building stage.

By the way, just received a try again later from university of Toronto even with a 4.5 CGPA. Was told competition was high and I ask why not if there's a tution waiver + CAD 15,000 involved. Thats one of the reasons i applied sef. Lolz.
