Phemorinho: I have 6years working experience, but does that count for applying for studying? since your BSC certificate is 3years that's is not Australian bachelor degree just apply to university of Newcastle you be sure you get admission include a referee letter detailing your working experience and your schedule of duty in the letter witting by your manager or COE.just be ready to pass through an agent cos they must refer you to an agent here in Nigeria.you can still try other schools with referee letter and other document.good luck |

Phemorinho: hello house, I applied to Edith Cowan with my BSC last week,I just received a mail saying I do not meet the requirements as my bachelors degree is assessed as Australian diploma (probable cause is, I did IJMB Alevel so my BSC is three years). The question now is, WHAT DO I DO? Do you have working experience up to 3years? |

NNBB2012: Since you know your course is not on the list, why then do you still want to go for it? Well, I wouldn't close my eyes to see you make such horrible mistake. My advise will be you should consider a course that is on the list and do not require experience for an assessment. This has been emphasised over and over again but I still don't know why people keep making same mistake. Go for MSc Social Works-qualifying, it does not require experience. After the program, you are ready for your PR once you get your points. If you do, you will come back to thank me greatly that is provided you take that step. @my oga meekmk just check csol you see human resources manager, which Australian institute of management is the assessing body.perth is in western australia study in regional area just one or two years working experience you need for your pr. |

jorgan: Fatai Williams hospital is at CMS (54/56 Bankole Street, behind Elephant House at end of Broad Street on Lagos Island). You can get the Oral Polio Vaccination done at the same clinic in place of the yellow card. The OPV is enough for your visa application, but you have to get the yellow card later before you travel so you don't have problem at point of entry in Australia. Hold your 37,500 strong, 32,500 for Medical examination & Oral Polio Vaccine, then 5,000 naira for X-Ray. When I did my medical examination at fatayi Williams, myself and the other guys that went on that day were referred to St Nicholas Hospital for the X-Ray, that's double movement. Same might happen in ur case. Go as early as possible. Good luck. @ jorgan thank you for your response to my question also elawdafinest. |

jorgan: Something similar happened to me, on Wednesday My account was debited , in the debit alert, it showed that the money was taken out for "CBN BID" then on Friday last week another alert came in, CBN returned the money to my account and then immediately I was debited Again, and this time the debit alert indicated that I was debited by FORM A not CBN bid. you should go to the bank on Monday, and find out if you won the bid or not! And secondly don't be tired, if you didn't win the bid contact your agent immediately. Thanks i be there on monday morning. |

jorgan: I missed out on my resumption (Jan 25th) because of Form A and forex wahala, I almost broke down, trust me it was a terrible period, but from that moment God started moving on my behalf. I moved my school fees deposit to my pop's first bank account and his account officer took over the telegraphic transfer. He explained that CBN was running out of dollars and that they prioritized payment of school fees based on bidding and a submission window of just once a week for a duration of two hours. To cut the long story short my school fees was sent to the school on the 25th of January and the school had no choice than to give me another offer which required that I pay more in other to get my CoE. But the offer letter didn't come on time so I didn't know the exact amount to pay in addition. I was led by the spirit to initiate another transaction and I filled another form A conveying the sum of 5,000 AUD in anticipation. Fortunately for me, I won yet again another bid and the 5,000 got to the school on Monday. At the end of the day when the new offer letter came, the school indicated that I was meant to pay just 1,500aud. I got my CoE on Wednesday. I m grateful to God for divine direction. I would have been in another mess now that CBN has added medical and school fees to prohibited forex list. jorgan: I missed out on my resumption (Jan 25th) because of Form A and forex wahala, I almost broke down, trust me it was a terrible period, but from that moment God started moving on my behalf. @ shinerpoly my advice is to apply for sol skill cos of your working experience.I don't think HND certificate can give you graduate certificate or post graduate diploma.even BSC of 3 years can not secure admission except he/she attain management position, then management position can now count..Your HND is two year like wise your ND.if you still have school in mind, only associate degree or advance diploma. |
