you are very right , let they conduct a fresh free and fair election and let see if yaya bello can score half of wot he got from the primary ,we even thought that he will be different from other ebira due to his success in business and that name (fair plus ) na him confuse us ' we never knew the blood of ebira still flow in him ( he was defeated during the APC primary and after then he started working against apc ) believe me there is no Ebira man that will not do that because it flow in their blood(if I no eat then nobody go eat too ) ,Ebira has course a lot of go-slow to many Kogi graduate seeking for job out side the state 'once u go for interview and u were bein ask of ur state of origin and u tell them Kogi state, there will first ask if you are ebira ! Not only that ' ask any driver in Nigeria about okene ; there are always careful and mindful once there are in okene even if driver forget ,passenger go remind de driver say na okene we dey o ; this is how there will start narrating how okene people behave like goat ,in okene okada rider will occupy the Center of road not minding whatever that is coming from behind and once they hit him down " burning kaynaa!! Finally what I believe is that a beast from any part of Kogi is better than any angel from EBIRA tribe .

Over to u ,ebira nwaho
Your hatred of Ebira people will do you no good at all. We are a blessed people.

This report is well watered down.

Currently Kogi state is boiling with armed youths shooting everywhere.
Okene & Lokoja is under total lock down. Abuja Lokoja-Abuja highway is blocked from traffic.

Hope APC will not plunge this nation into the anarchy GEJ averted for us.
What is the source of your information, please? Are you in Kogi State?

Oga that was why I used an exclamation mark at the end of my sentence because those are not my words but from an aggrieved igala political friend calling his people in diaspora having heard of the news of audu replacement by yahaya.
Oh sorry, my bad. So he actually called them beasts? That's serious!

His CV is quiet impressive, a very lucky man, God will guild you in the journey ahead and bring the much needed development in Kogi state and also congratulations to my Ebira people for producing the Governor for the very first time in the history of Kogi State, life is turn by turn. You see the work of God, left to human to decide Igala people cannever allow Ebira to smell that seat.
It is a great lesson indeed. All power belongs to ALLAH and He grants it to whomsoever He wishes.

I'm Igala, but the seat wasn't made for one tribe. Although I was born and brought up in another state. We've seen snail-like development in the state since its creation. Let power shift and let another ethnic group bring in new ideas for betterment of the state. Unless we move away from ethnic sentiments,Kogi state will continue to be one of the most backward states in the country. Power was going to change hands sooner or later, the earlier we learn and move on,the better for all parties. Simple!

PoliticsUK Indicates Interest In Kogi, Bayelsa Elections by adinoyiM(op): 6:29am On Nov 27, 2015
UK indicates interest in Kogi, Bayelsa elections 0
BY OUR REPORTER ON NOVEMBER 27, 2015 POLITICS
From Romanus Ugwu, Abuja

The United Kingdom has told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that it is very much interested in how events playing out in Kogi State’s inconclusive governorship election finally unfold.
British High Commissioner, Mr. Paul Arkwright, who dropped the hint when he led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the electoral commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja, further expressed happiness over conduct of credible elections in Nigeria.
Charging the INEC boss to surpass the 75 per cent name recognition of his immediate predecessor, Professor Attahiru Jega, the UK Government equally promised to help Nigeria in improving on visible deficiencies noticeable in computerised electoral system in the country.
His words: “We are here to see how we can work with you in future in alliance with your commissioners. We want to see how we can continue our relationship with you. We also came to congratulate you on your appointment as the commission’s chairman .
“I heard that you did a very good job during the confirmatory hearing and you showed huge amount of confidence in the structure. I want to also congratulate the new commissioners. It is really wonderful to know that you have some outstanding individuals among the commissioners with rich international backgrounds.
“I appreciate all you said and hope that in the future you will live up to expectations as the commission’s chairman. I was told that your predecessor, who did very well on the job, has 75 per cent name recognition in the entire country. That was a very impressive statistic and it will be nice if you have the same or above such record.
“I want to equally tell you that we are interested in your plans concerning Kogi elections. The death of the APC candidate for that election was a very sad news. We are equally happy about the plans for the Bayelsa election. We appreciate the professionalisation of your elections,” he assured.
Speaking earlier, Yakubu had chronicled the achievements of the commission, with a promise to improve on other noticeable areas of deficiency, just as he described the incident trailing the Kogi governorship election as very unfortunate.

All I know is dat no matter the mago! Mago! God has the final say. The will of God will be done. Jonathan an ijaw fisherman did it. Who says an Okun or Ebira cannot do it? The day it will happen it will be like film trick. Nothing lasts forever.
Well said! Bravo!

fixed!

Igalas are just being fair to other tribes in the state, and that's why you can come here and cry 'oppression '. They can field an Igala-igala ticket and, it will fly.
I beg to disagree with your assertion. An Igala/Igala ticket will never fly and everyone knows this. That's why it has never been tried. By the way, isn't it ironic that after suffering years of marginalisation in the old Benue state the Igalas are perpetuating the same in a state made up of 3 major tribes? Nothing lasts forever.

My own is that if you are a stranger and in Kogi, Please be careful. Because those people like fight pass food. I know they must fight after results are announced.
How can you be so certain about this? Why do you think there will be violence after the announcement of the results?
