Bruno has had his shyte days but yesterday is the wrong day to try to drag him. Many are just using the penalty miss to further their agenda ( i don't know if you are one of them). He was probably our best player but somehow you are now telling us that he is the reason for McFred's struggles.

Yesterday i actually pitied Fred. He was poor in the first half but grew into the game and watching him cover for McTom was painful to see. I believe McTom is not match fit but Amaka has rushed him back from his surgery because he doesn't trust Matic or VDB.

Meanwhile i noticed nobody has really mentioned CR7 standing like an Okorocha statue for most of the match.

The "he can play till 60yrs" talk stems from little secrets like that - baba has to manage himself physically

Today we played like we had a pattern, but Ole's desire to rotate players and keep the squad fresh has backfired. Is it not better to win playing ugly?

Team rotation is good but Ole's own are usually too drastic. He wins a match, he is changing too many players for the next. This same thing happened in the Champions league. He wanted to satisfy everyone, but now that we are out, which matches will he used to satisfy these players now? As it is, we might not see Martial, Mata, Bailly, and some others for a long time

We are not, and wouldnt be the 1st team to rotate players for Carabao cup.

We played at home vs Westham (not Mancity or liverpool ffs) and there was quite a number of decent players in the team squad.

If my memory serves me right, The games Matuidi played at the World Cup, he played mostly from the left, almost as a winger. The pivot were Pogba and Kante.

Matuidi was actually more of a hard working left sided player.

The heart of that French Midfield was the Pogba/Kante partnership

Under the Scot, Pogba for don align by fire by force and would probably have been the natural successor to scholes - the one we have been looking for.

The point is that Pogba owned that French midfield - he orchestrated play from deep, always made himself available for passes, didnt dwell on the ball unnecessarily, wasnt all about the usual showboating we get to see at Man utd, and most importantly, put the team first and played for his manager.

We saw a similar pogba in a double pivot for us at some point last season and even the great paul scholes had this to say :

"He has got his head down, cut out all of the flashy stuff and now looks like the Pogba that plays for France - the one that won the World Cup - in that he keeps it simple and performs consistently.

Like Oasis007 also opined, this idea of trying to "acommodate" Pogba by all means is detrimental to the team.

I was expecting to see more people talking about this. There is never post match analysis here. It's only argument and agenda driving posts. Pogba was not effective at all and was very frustrated.

If we see club wey go pay 80mill in January, i think we shouldnt miss that opportunity, afterall, from all indications, mans not gonna renew his contract at the end of the season.

Fred gets a lot of stick and rightly so but it wasn't just him today. Bruno gave the ball away a lot today AND his legs went around the 70 minutes

Pogba was poor. Spent most of the match roaming around the pitch looking for his best position. AWB was lost too.

This needs to be addressed once and for all - we can't continue like this season after season.
