Opposite. Black mambas are extremely shy of humans and avoid people at all cost. King Cobras on the other hand are less shy of people because they have learnt to live among humans due to habitat destruction. That is why they kill more people than black mambas. Go do your research.

That my friend is faulty comparison. First of, it is not true that the King Cobra is allowed to roam freely in compounds in India, unless you are dealing with rearers and snake charmers. Secondly Indians are known to deify snakes, and are quite comfortable with them, hence the reaction of an Indian to snakes may be quite different from other people. Thirdly, the black mamba is only found in Africa. I am very certain that if the Black Mamba was native to India, they would have curbed it's aggression. FYI some people own black mambas as pets, even though it's highly advised against.

They are allowed to roam freely in the compound. That's how the people selling the anti venoms showcase the potency of their anti venoms. You can watch it on YouTube. You'll never see anyone for any reason allowing a black mamba roam freely. It's faster and more deadly than the king cobra

In terms of venom potency, it is the inland Taipan. In terms of aggression (which I disagree is a measure of deadliness) the Saw scaled Viper is numero uno

Nah they don't rare black mamba the way they rare king cobra. Black mambas are caged and not allowed to roam freely in the compound with people like it's done with the king cobra in India

King cobra is much more venomous but not deadlier. How deadly they are is not measured by the potency of their venoms but by how much humans have been attacked by them. Somewhere in India they live with king cobras why they sell anti venoms for them so they display the effectiveness of the drugs by rearing kingcobras.

Black mambas will kill in 30 minutes that's if you are lucky it strikes you once . The king cobra however won't charge at you if you don't come at it or you are not within striking range, but the mamba doesn't need that, wether you are in striking range or not it's coming at ya and it's gonna charge if you do or not. So I'll choose king cobra as long as I maintain a distance I'm safe.

What you should have asked them is this. Which will you choose to face in a cage. King cobra or black mamba. If you choose a king cobra you still stand a chance of surviving but if you choose a mamba you are a gonna.

The real reason why any snake catcher is scared is because they know one bite could spell their doom. the inland Taipan is not aggressive, because it lives in isolated places where it has little contact with humans. King cobra does not spit venoms. Besides I believe you have seen a video of the snake catcher trying his best to place his hand on the head of a king cobra in the wild which he did. He'll never try that with a mamba.

I believe you people are not getting the OP's point. Deadliest is different from most venomous. You can have a lot of venom and not be as deadly as the other with less venom. For example the Nigerian army has got enough firepower and strategy than bokoharam. But which is more deadly between both the army and bokoharam to the citizen? Bokoharam is despite not literally as powerful as the military. You dig. Puff adder, Gabon viper are all venomous than the black mamba. But the black mamba is more deadly because it's easy to outwit other snakes than the mamba. If you watch NAT Geo wild there's this guy that catches snakes for a living in South Africa. When it's other snakes he's ready and panics less. But once a call came for a black mamba he was fucking tensed and extremely careful. And that black mamba he caught that day was the biggest I have ever seen and that's still not it's full potential size.
