jerseyboy: Again, Biafra is failing because many Igbos particularly the elites and many of those outside the South East are not on board. They fear the "small land mass and landlocked geography" will put their massive population at a disadvantage. For these fears many Igbos prefer to stay put in a union where they are despised by everyone. If Igbo elites were in consensus on Biafran independence, they would be long free. Yorubas on the other hand are beginning to see a bright future outside Nigeria. That is why it is the Yorubas that will disintegrate Nigeria. who told you igboland is landlocked ? are there no Igbos in the South South? you know nothing about geography in Fact I don't want a biafra with Niger delta never I want a biafra that consist of all Igbo speaking parts of Nigeria that's all. |

jerseyboy: At the rate things are going in Nigeria it won't require war to dissolve the union just like the Soviet Union. We are in a new age. The world is digital and now hyper sensitive to issues of oppression. Nigeria could not prosecute the Biafran war today the way it did 50 years ago. After Rwanda, the world will not permit it. It is very difficult to keep a people determined to liberate themselves within a failed union today. What is keeping Nigeria together is still largely oil plus the fear of the unknown. Then fulani man doesn't think that way, sorry to say if not biafra referendum would have taken place since 2015 are biafrans not loud enough. fulani man only thinks war that's all |

jerseyboy: Hausa Fulani misrule will push them to it. Their society is being decimated by poverty, their cultural heritage corrupted, their values collapsing, it is a question of time when they will come out of denial. Nogeria has not worked for anyone. We hate each other so much we want to stay together so as to continue the suffering of every other nationality irespective of I'd we ourselves are caught up in it. Human nature is very complex. my question is how will they achieve it? because they only option I see Is war and trust I doubt if yorubas are ready for war.secesion is not in the constitution in you don know. |
Politics › Re: Why Nigeria Will Never Let BIAFRA Go. by Admissionclass(op): 1:27pm On Jun 14, 2020 |
jerseyboy: The truth is Biafra is failing because many Igbos are afraid of leaving Nigeria for a variety of reasons. Nigeria will disintegrate only when the Yorubas decide to. It is the Yorubas that will end Nigeria not the Igbos. wait! wait! wait did you just say Yorubas? LMAO how will they do it? |

MinorityOpinion: Below are the violence inciting statements Nnamdi Kanu allegedly made;
1. "...When we speak, the Zoo trembles, that is what happens when a cattle rearing terrorist and paedophile is your ruler."
2. "If you find anybody in your village asking after Radio Biafra kill the baboon Awusa Fulani or Yoruba bastard. Let them keep searching as we keep tweeting for #Biafra."
3. "Buhari is a shameless Paedophile and rapist."
4. "Buhari is a Terrorist he should be killed."
5. "Nigeria is a zoo and everybody living in that Godforsaken zoo deserves to die."
6. "Kumuyi should be stoned and dealt with thoroughly if he comes to Aba for his planned crusade."
7. "The imbecilic Goodluck Jonathan is a disgrace to humanity and deserves to be skinned alive for handing over to an Hausa goat."
8. "By the time we finish dealing with the animals in the zoo, there'll be none left to tell the story."
9. "We are assembling weapons and we need some more money to thoroughly equip our military to enable us unleash mayhem on Nigeria."
10. "Niger Deltans are cowards; we know what to do to them. Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Edo and Cross Rivers State are our territory and anybody who tries to oppose us will be crushed."
11. "Buhari married his wife after raping her several times, the records are there."
12. "No Ibo man should attend any Church where the pastor is a Yoruba man, they are criminals and fools."
13. "Nigeria should prepare for war, we are coming to annihilate you, my secret service are already studying the zoo and strategising."
14. "Its either Biafra or death..." mumu boy, you dedicate all your time and youth in rubbishing ipob don't worry you will drink sniper last last when the flag will be raised. in case you dobt know... If there is a referendum today I bet you all south south will vote out of Nigeria don't deceive yourself, they are just allowing Igbos do the dirty work because we are louder but just as I always say let the time come , time shall tell. |

Nigeria will give any force that tries to liberate BiAfra a tough and bloody fight no matter how powerful it is, do you know why? it's simple Nigerians can't imagine life without Igbos it will never be the same and it is unimaginablble forget all you see here on Nairaland the main reason they don't want Igbos out is because of some sort of hidden love they have for Igbos especially the yorubas.did you know Nigeria lost 600,000 soldiers in the civil war? that almost a million jusy to to make sure Igbos stay in Nigeria .the abagana ambush is loss alone is enough to make them give up but still they fought hard even solicitated for international support just to keep that erosion prone land (as they call it) from seceding doesn't that tell you something? |

XANDERBOY85: Na so! Nigeria is not like 'every other African nation'!
Fact of the matter is, ANY ethnicity or region (besides the Fulani or core muslim north) that manages to break free from 'one Nigeria' will set the ball in motion that will see others rushing for the exit door too! Tell me what has changed now from when Awo declared (and i paraphrase), 'if by omisssion or commission Biafra is allowed to secede, the Yoruba nation wouldn't bother staying behind to see how 'one Nigeria' works out with just them and the north'! how will it happen?that's my question. will Yorubas declare war on FG to give them their own freedom like Ojukwu did in 1967.if you even resort to peaceful means it will take decades to achieve remember Nigeria is very Good at holding people down and the last thing the yorubas will do is to resort to war. |

I never doubt the possibility of biafra breaking away besides Many countries have lost a part of it lets say sudan ,Ethiopia,Russia but I doubt if Nigeria will be dissolved by this event. Nigeria will still exist why?it's simple most inhabitants of Nigeria are not ready or interested in change its obvious here on nairaland . almost every part of Nigeria seeks secession but only the Igbos are serious about it they have being on it for almost 50 years the rest ethnic groups lack the guts or are afraid of war in Fact what is keeping other ethnic groups in Nigeria Is not love no it's Is the fear of war and the stigma that comes after it nobody wants to experience what the Igbos experience in civil war its was bloody..
paraventure the Igbos breakaway from Nigeria today Nigeria will still remain and nothing else can dissolve it again they case will be like sudan and Ethiopia no African nation has ever totally dissolved after loosing a part of it. |
