I have a young family, i and my better half both work in a financial institution. For the past 5months i do the cooking from Monday to Friday. I normally get home before her as my office is a stone throw from the house, while she comes back late due to traffic and distance.

Before she comes back from work, i make sure dinner is ready and served. At a stage i started feeling bad because she always come back very late and proceed to bed without any discussion or catching up.

I had no choice but to tell her to offer a solution or resign and do business because I know she will never resign due to the fact that she love the profession so much.
At the end we decided to move close to her office while I have to be doing the long distance movement.

Op, you have no choice than moving your family close to your wife's office except you are ready to establish a befitting business for her to run as an alternative.
