Attention is money.

That’s why brands pay them to redirect that attention to their products and services through advertising and sponsorships.

A program like Google Adsense is how creators make money through advertising.

Google places images, texts, videos, and other interactive media on creator’s websites as ads directing them to brands that have paid for that attention.

Sponsorships happen when brands pay creators directly without a middle man like Google.

If a brand pays a creator N100,000 for a promotion, they do it because they believe the attention will drive more than N100,000 in product sales.

If the brands makes N150,000 then the value of attention they directed to the brand is worth N50,000 more than they got paid.

The creator has been underpaid. Missed out on N50,000.

Obviously, no brand will pay you full value for the attention you get them. If they do, then they won’t make any money.

This is why you should sell your products to capture the full value of the attention you’ve built with your blog.

Ryan Reynolds the American actor understands this more than anyone.

He has no endorsement deals.

Instead of getting tons of money from brands to represent their products he started his own gin company and promoted it using his fame and influence.

Now, he has even more tons of money with his gin brand, Aviation gin, which he sold for $160 million.

You might not make that much money with your own small blog.

But understand that you already have a valuable asset that brands are clamoring for: attention.

Don’t use sponsorships, ad programs, affiliate revenue or patent ships as the main driver of income for your blog.

Direct your loyal followers to your own products to capture the full value of the attention you have created.

While most blogs splatter their pages with ads fighting for pennies, they chose a different path and sell their own products to capture all revenue and brand value.

This guy is a very big fool and i wish i could say more but i will reserve my comment

This is what happened and funlord can testify
A guy contact me for paypal funds (yusufmuhd) and i told him
I will ask from friends. He said funlord is the escrow which i agreed with.

So after some min i told him the funds is ready, he wasnt online later he called me
He added funlord and a third guy which is Nbrown

I searched for both of their numbers here on nairaland, i think 1 of them showed no result so i was suspicious

Then i said i wasn't interested in the deal again. Then the insult started but i ignored
Later i called funlord and explained to him and he gave me d assurance that since he is there no p.

So i contacted my friend told him to send the funds, he claimed there is something wrong with the account (see screenshot)

Now the fool called Nbrown came here and started calling me a scammer. I have sold over 50 reviews on this channel and met alot of reasonable people no-one has every accused me of scamming him.

This guy shouldnt be allowed here. Tabbaz i want you to take the necessary NO ONE SHOULD EVER DO TRANSACTION WITH THIS NBROWN. He wants to tanish my reputation because of his foolishness.

The only thing i did wrong was, i didnt screenshot the conv. Before leaving the group chat.

If i was a scammer, will ever agree for escrow?

Even funlord specifically told him told him to remove this trash because he has post it before when i said i wasnt selling again. He deserved to be punish

I will message all those that have ever done business with to come prove my sincerity here on nairaland. And only if i want to scam you God will judge and if not May God punish you till you leave this earth
