That man is wicked. His wicked brother Rotimi Amaechi refused to pay civil servants employed during his tenure which led to backlog of salaries owed. He calculated to pay when his tenure was almost over. His brother who took over from him has since refused to pay the remaining salaries owed up to 3 months. How ever he did paid his own local government and deliberately refused to pay others. I can't tell if this is sane. |
As we all know, African leaders are bad examples. How on earth can a governor do this shameful things. See pics below

REQUEST TO STOP ALLOCATING OIL BLOCKS TO PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATE BODIES Our attention has been drawn to the decision of the Federal Government to revoke a number of oil blocks and marginal fields hitherto allocated to a few individuals as well as local and foreign corporate bodies by former military and civilian regimes in Nigeria. While commending Your Excellency for the courageous decision we urge the Federal government to desist from renewing the remaining licenses of other oil block owners in the country. Having acquired the “entire property in and control or all minerals, mineral oils and natural gas in, under or upon any land in Nigeria or in, under or upon the territorial waters” and vested same in the Federal Government on behalf of the people of Nigeria pursuant to section 44(3) of the Constitution it is inequitable, illegal and unconstitutional to allocate the nation’s oil blocks to a few individuals and corporate bodies including multinational corporations. Your Excellency may no doubt be aware that majority of the owners of the oil blocks belonging to the Nigerian people usually sub-lease them to offshore companies as they lack the fund and the technical expertise to develop the oil and gas industry. By merely collecting huge rents the oil block owners become stupendously rich while the federal, state and local governments depend on loans and bailout to pay salaries and carry out basic infrastructural development of the country. Thus, by allocating oil blocks to a few individuals and corporate bodies the Federal Government has violated Section 16(2) (c) of the Constitution which provides that “the economic system is not operated in such a manner as to permit the concentration of wealth or the means of production and exchange in the hands of few individuals or of a group.” Furthermore, the allocation of oil blocks to a few individuals and corporate bodies by the Federal Government constitutes a gross violation of the fundamental rights of the Nigerian people to freedom from discrimination, equal right of access to public property and in the equal enjoyment of the common heritage of mankind as well as the right to social, economic and cultural development guaranteed by articles 2, 13, 22 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights (Ratification and Enforcement) Act. Therefore, pursuant to article 22 thereof which has imposed a duty on the Federal Government to freely dispose of the wealth and national resources of the nation in the exclusive interests of the Nigerian people we urge Your Excellency to desist from allocating oil and blocks to a select group of Nigerians and foreigners. In view of the foregoing, we urge Your Excellency to restrict the allocation of oil blocks including marginal fields to the Federal Government and the governments of the 36 states of the Federation. This request is in line with section 16 (1) (b) of the Constitution which has mandated the Nigerian State to “control the national economy in such manner as to secure the maximum welfare, freedom and happiness of every citizen on the basis of social justice and equality of status and opportunity.” TAKE NOTICE: that if the Federal Government refuses to accede to our request we shall be compelled to challenge the constitutional validity of allocating the oil blocks and other natural resources collectively owned by the Nigerian people but vested in the Federal Government to a few private individuals and corporate bodies. Please accept the assurances of our highest esteem. Yours sincerely, FEMI FALANA, SAN, FCI Arb.

EXCLUSIVE: EFCC traces lawyer’s ‘car gift’ to Onnoghen Malik Abdulganiy in On the GoTop Stories The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has traced a car owned by Walter Onnoghen, the embattled chief justice of Nigeria (CJN), to Joe Agi, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN). The anti-graft agency believes the car is a gift from the lawyer, who had cases before Onnoghen at the time of purchase. But Agi has told the EFCC that aside being a senior lawyer, he is also a car dealer and Onnoghen bought the Mercedes GL 450 series from him for N7 million in 2010, sources told TheCable. However, when he was asked to produce receipts of purchase and other documentation relating to the transaction, he could not do so, TheCable understands. Previously, the EFCC traced a deposit of $30,000 by Agi into Onnoghen’s bank account dating back to 2009. He was also said to have had cases before the judge when he made the deposits. Agi denied the allegation that the $30,000 was a bribe. In a press statement, he said the money was from allowances paid to Onnoghen on seminars, holidays, conferences or medical trips abroad. Agi said: “I have been acquainted with Justice Onnoghen, JSC in our days as Lawyers in Calabar, Cross Rivers State from the 1980s before he was appointed a High Court Judge. “My Lord Justice Onnoghen said he had no idea since opening of foreign account was forbidden for Public Officers. I informed him that domiciliary account is not a foreign bank account as it is opened and operated within the local banks in Nigeria. “It was on this note that I went to my banker Standard Chartered Bank and obtained Account Opening Forms for him as a friend and Senior Brother. He completed the Forms and I refereed him. He gave me $30,000 being left over of his allowances for overseas seminars, holidays, conferences or medical trips to deposit for him as the first deposit. This I did in 2009 i.e 10 years ago. After that, he operated the account himself without me paying even a cent into that account till date. “Now 10 years after, I am again being vilified and accused of giving Justice Onnoghen bribe. If I may ask; bribe for which case? In the Supreme Court panel they sit in 5 or 7 persons, was the $30,000 for the 5 or 7 Justices? And for which case? This is another huge joke aimed at vilifying my person by the same cabal who are hell bent on tarnishing my image as an aftermath of the exposure of the Paris Club fraud.” Agi is one of the lawyers defending Onnoghen in his asset declaration case before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT). Onnoghen is currently being tried by the CCT over allegations of non-declaration of some of his assets, although he said it was an oversight. In a previous case, which was eventually dismissed, a foreign firm owned by Agi’s friend paid N30 million into the account of the wife of Adeniyi Adetokunbo Ademola, a justice of the federal high court, for their daughter’s wedding. He was also said to have bought a car for Ademola’s son. The case filed against him for “gratification” was dismissed on technical grounds, although many lawyers argued that it was a professional misconduct which should have been punished by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee. Efforts by TheCable to reach Agi were unsuccessful as his phone rang out. He has also not responded to text messages.

The Nigerian army has again invaded Okochiri kingdom, particularly the resident of HRM King Ateke M. Tom. This is coming from one of the residents who was equally interrogated. Mr Opu-Henry Wilson Shared this on their WhatsApp group saying, "We are under siege at again at Okochiri right now by the Nigerian army. My house is surrounded by gun wielding military personnel. They are on the fencing, at the doorways, around the compound. The most annoying part is that I was asked " what are you doing here" by one of them who saw me inside my house working, wearing just boxers and BYC. Thank God he didn't shoot". This needs to reach front page let the whole world know what is happening few days for the gubernatorial elections. Cc; Lala Super mods push to front page please.

Aminu Waziri Tambuwal Politicians and political leaders, groups and group leaders, stakeholders in the development of our state and our nation, fellow indigenes of Sokoto State and citizens of our great country, members of the press, ladies and gentlemen. It is with gratitude to Almighty Allah, our Sustainer that I address you on a matter of great importance to our nation at this auspicious moment in our political history. I stand before you with a heavy heart, wishing I had cheery words of progress, instead of the sad report that I am constrained to give you on the situation of our dear nation. 2. The struggle for democracy is one that began with our fight for independence as a sovereign nation. To this end, the blood, freedom and other liberties of our past heroes and contemporary veterans were sacrificed. The current dispensation began in 1999, as the watershed of our toil, which granted to us a democratic system that is striving to evolve and survive. 3. Through those years the forces of genuine change gravitated and by 2015, merged to ensure a transition of power that Nigerians hoped would herald a new order of true democracy under an atmosphere of justice, peace, equity and the rule of law. The leaders of that coalition represented and symbolized the aspiration of Nigerians for progress and prosperity under one united, indivisible nation. 4. As the speaker of the House of Representatives then, I left my comfort zone to be involved in the struggle for the enthronement of purposeful leadership for the citizens of our dear country. 6. Now, almost four years into what ought to be a new order as desired and elected by Nigerians, the nation is unfortunately going through the most difficult and precarious times, since the Civil war; with ethno, religious and regional distrust at its highest ebb. 7. This development had often been blamed on political opponents. Meanwhile, there are issues of brazen inequity and capacity and questionable distribution of appointments/projects. This is in addition to lack of statesmanship in responding to national issues, among other things that are for aggravating the anomaly. 8. In line with the best traditions in any major political decision, especially by a serving elected Governor, I have painstakingly consulted far and wide, on whether the present political platform is a viable vehicle for achieving the aspiration of our people. 9. It is because I am convinced that no nation can thrive while there is inequity and bad governance; because I am saddened by the fact that lethargy, incompetence and sustained denial of obvious leadership missteps have become the major raw materials Politicians and political leaders, groups and group leaders, stakeholders in the development of our state and our nation, fellow indigenes of Sokoto State and citizens of our great country, members of the press, ladies and gentlemen. It is because I am convinced that no nation can thrive while there is inequity and bad governance; because I am saddened by the fact that lethargy, incompetence and sustained denial of obvious leadership missteps have become the major raw materials with which the Nigerian State is being run today; because I am unwilling to be part of frightful conspiracy against the cohesion of the Nigerian State, Nigerian youths and peoples; because I am unable to feel at ease in the face of a progressively divided nation and, above all, because I am totally unable to reconcile myself to a national leadership that offers no redeeming moral beacons that I am here with you today; to announce withdrawal of my membership of the All Progressives Congress and return to the People’s Democratic Party. 10. I speak to you today with a mixture of sadness and relief because I did not expect that the APC, which promised so much when the People’s Democratic party (PDP) stood under the sway of impunity, could not maintain or manage whatever good it inherited. It has also not broken new grounds in any positive sense but has instead reached historically unprecedented heights of impunity in all manner of vices far above and beyond the challenges which made some of us to leave the PDP about four years ago to join others to form the APC. The party has brazenly turned itself into a sanctuary for the corrupt and a machine for rigging and for the rape of democracy. 11. Let me also put it on record that all attempts to discuss the electoral promises of the APC-led government, including the restructuring of the country as promised Nigerians and as contained in the APC manifesto, have proved abortive. 12. Beyond that, I cannot look those who elected me as their Governor here in Sokoto State in the face and boldly point to any meaningful Federal Projects initiated in the state under the APC government. Even the bulk of uncompleted Federal Projects here that were inherited from the previous administration have largely remained in their state of neglect. Sokoto State is also not being meaningfully carried along in political appointments and in other matters of national importance. 13. Like most states of the North, and indeed the entire federation, elders and traditional institutions have come under measured disrespect. The recent attack in Tabinnii in Rabah LGA of Sokoto State, the routine invasion of Zamfara State by armed bandits, the now-regular killing of policemen by unknown gunmen all over the country, the regular massacre of innocent people in the North East axis and many similar daily incidents, do not attract much attention any more. 14. Good governance, viz-a-viz economic wellbeing of our people, remains the major reason for my action of today. Information from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows that over nine million jobs have been lost in the last 3 years, since the APC Government came into office. While youth unemployment rate was 11.70 per cent during the fourth quarter of 2014, it rose to 33.10 per cent in third quarter of 2017 under the APC Government. The economy is not showing any real signs of improvement. Our educational and health institutions are in retreat. Poverty is on rampage and still ravages the land. It is unacceptable that majority of those who voted for APC in 2015 should have nothing good to show for it. 15. As in the past, it is only my interest in equity, the wellbeing of Nigerians and a befitting future for our teeming youths, national unity and economic prosperity that has led to my new locus in Nigerian politics today. We all have a duty to do our best, while nudging our political parties to progressively align political contests in Nigeria along clear ideological lines; such that sooner rather than later the aspirations and the will of our people will be the only determinant of election outcomes. 16. Let me at this juncture state emphatically that I return to the PDP with a clear conscience today, because the party has learnt some bitter lessons and noted what mistakes it must avoid in the future. It is now a repositioned and forward-looking political party to which I now pledge loyalty, in my resolve to contribute towards improving the lives of Nigerians and expanding opportunities for the youths. It is only by working together as agents of development that we can promote excellence, competence, good governance and enthronement of genuine democracy to save Nigeria. 17. 'Ruthless Mo deserves PFA award - he is a joy to watch' Chris Shaw @__ChrisShaw Mohamed Salah's attitude and application earned him the PFA Players' Player of the Year award from his peers, according to Danny Ings. The Liverpool forward collected the annual accolade at a special ceremony in London on Sunday evening, having won a vote of PFA members from the 92 Premier League and Football League teams. The presentation came just a day after the Egypt international scored the 41st goal of his sensational debut season with the Reds and moved closer to the club record of 47, set by Ian Rush in 1983-84. Liverpool teammate Ings sees acknowledgement from his fellow professionals as just reward for the way Salah has dealt with the demands and expectations on his return to the Premier League. “He thoroughly deserves it,” Ings told Liverpoolfc.com. “Credit to him, because he came to Chelsea and had a difficult time there, then went away, worked hard and came back – and this is the reward. “It’s all the stuff in the background he has done. I’m sure mentally it would have been very hard for him to come back and give it another shot. The way that he has come in and been so ruthless, for us as a team he is great to have. And for the Premier League, he is a joy to watch. “It’s evident that he has really worked his socks off to get into the position he is in now. It doesn’t just happen – it’s down to hard work and graft. “I take my hat off to him and I’m sure everybody else in the Premier League does too.” Salah's 2017-18 Premier League stats Salah netted Liverpool’s second goal in a 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday by moving onto a reverse pass from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and lofting a cool finish over Ben Foster. In scoring at The Hawthorns, the No.11 equalled the Premier League best of 31 goals by a single player in a 38-game campaign – previously achieved by Cristiano Ronaldo, Alan Shearer and Luis Suarez. The 25-year-old is only the third man in Reds history to hit 40 goals in a season and, with at least five fixtures remaining, may surpass Rush’s huge haul before the end of the term. Asked if the sense of history being made feels tangible, Ings said: “It really does. “I’ve said before, he is the most ruthless player I’ve played with in front of goal. The amount of chances he creates for himself, when he’s in tight situations and he’ll muscle his way through players, people underestimate how strong he is. He has got a low centre of gravity and the way he jinks in and out of players is just unbelievable. “I really hope he breaks every record that’s put in front of him, because he is a very humble guy, he takes it in his stride and I think he deserves it. The next on the target is Balon D'Or

By Daily Post British Prime Minister, Theresa May, has called for same-sex marriages in Nigeria and all other Commonwealth Nations. The Prime Minister said this on Tuesday while speaking at the first joint forum at Commonwealth Head of Government Meetings in Westminster. According to her, there should be no laws criminalising same-sex relationships across the Commonwealth. May said that she understands that most of the laws against same-sex marriages in the Commonwealth were made by the United Kingdom, adding that those laws were wrong then, and are wrong now. She said, “Across the world, discriminatory laws made many years ago, continue to affect the lives of many people tens of millions of young people. “Criminalising same-sex relations and failing to protect women and girls.” “I am all too aware that these laws were put in place by my own country; they were wrong then and they are wrong now. “As the UK’s prime minister, I deeply regret that those laws were introduce…as a family, we must respect one another’s cultures and traditions, but we must do so in a manner consistent with equality, as it is clearly stated in the Commonwealth charter. “Nobody should face discrimination or persecution because of who they are or who they love and the UK stands ready to help any Commonwealth member wanting to reform outdated legislation that makes such discrimination possible

UnGodly Prophecy Where is Rev father Mbarka? He predicted that Nigeria would be like hell fire if GEJ was allowed to lead Nigeria beyond 2014/15. Mbarka urged his religious followers and all Nigerians to 'vote out the bad luck that was in Goodluck'. And Nigerians did what he wanted. PMB was elected in 2015 to usher in success and better life. Today, after 3 years, there is worsening poverty, ritual killing, ethnic cleansing, massive school drop out, falling health standard, massive job losses, and also day light beheading of men by men. There has been church and mosque bombing, mass school children abduction, and increasing corruption too. Things have gone so bad that OBJ, IBB, TYD, TI, Bill Gates, Northern elders forum, Catholic Bishops of Nigeria, like the Benue people, have all looked at evil and called it by name. Pmb has brought us evil and not Goodluck, is what they all say! And what does Rev. Mbarka say? Which God was speaking in the man of God? |

When I first heard of forex I thought it was a dirty business because people where always talking negatively about it, that was around 2008. I quickly resolved not to participate in the markets. Today that story has changed and a lot of people are now embracing forex to make expected ends (thanks to recession in Nigeria). Forex is the largest financial market on earth, it has a daily turnover of $5 trillion, and people make a lot of money from it at the comfort of their homes. Cut a long story short, I researched on forex market and was particularly looking for best brokers when I eventually found instaforex with a free start-up bonus of $500 without deposit. When I registered, I discovered that there was so much to gain from it, so I quietly choose their referral link and displayed on my Facebook and WhatsApp. The next morning I received an email from instaforex giving details of how much I have made through the referral program. It was that simple, so I checked my account balance following the link on my email, and gee it was all done, I had made my first &1000. By the next day it doubled till day when it reached $3000. If you would want to, then follow the link to find out more and also grab your Free USD https://www.instaforex.com/bonus?x=BNRAB
