I'm re writing FA and i was fortunate 2buy IFRS from 1st to d present 13th issued standard which cuts across 1st time Adoption through financial Instrument and Consolidated F/S down 2 Joint arrangement and off course d latest 13th std which is Fair Value judgement. I also bought IAS from 1 to 39. I have Model IFRS based comprehensive example of published Financial statements and many more all in soft copies. I will give u my Reg no and my exam no to check my ICAN details 4authentication. We can even meet in person if possible. Presently i'm in Ebonyi state AIFPUA to be specific and i'm running a PG program at Unizik meaning dt i ply Afikpo-Abakaliki-Enugu-Awka road every week. Chicjennie: D last time I went to ICAN office 3yrs ago, I was told that HND begins frm Intermediate while those who studied B.Sc in Accounting related courses like Accounting Education will also begin frm Intermediate. Except if d rule has been changed cos I knw a HND Accounting graduate who was busy preparing 4 PE1 exams, only 4 her to be told when she went to ICAN office jst 1month b4 exams that she'll begin frm Intermediate.

There was never a time like that. Under the old syllabus that had PEIII, HND AND BSc Accounting Graduates started from PE II. check ICAN syllabus to confirm. Thanks. Except HND in another course or unacceditated schools.

Chicjennie: U'll beging frm Intermediate since U hv ur HND in Accounting. U'd hv begun frm PE1 if U had a B.Sc in Accounting. So, U'll only have to pay 4 exemptions in Foundation courses only...

Pidivine: Go through Pathfinder or Adeniji Q&A. If u can't afford both; I'll advice u to go for Pathfinder it's more detailed. Solve or attempt all the Question at the back of ICAN pack. Also google for online materials or solved questions. Hope to see you in ICAN conference some day.

Pidivine: Is It Proper For Any Reason To Reduce Your Age To Get a job?


It has become a norm for job seekers to reduce their age(s) to secure jobs no thanks to employers of labour. Please do you think it is proper either as a christian or moslem?.

I tried it once even against the warning of the spirit of God. I was arrested by Nigeria Police. My offence ' why did u reduce your age?' said the police men. I went to office after I was let go, and tore that rubbish to pieces. 'what shall it profit a man if he gains the world and loss is soul? Avoid it.

Pidivine: I've resolved to be self employed. Though still apply for jobs anyway. Pls when u guys become employers do not place the age hurdle.
My friend in deeper life just called and told me that his church refuse to join him in marriage because he is older than is fiancee by 10year. If he had lied he wouldn't have had issue. Why are we bent in frustrating the youth of this generation? Even in religious places age has also become a barrier.

And their G.O was older than his late wife with 13years.

Amen. But it's unfortunate that we are only left with 3 months to prepare for the next diet. How can one be able to put all those loads into one's brain, especially for those sitting for that level for the first time?

ICAN is yet to release results ooo. Hopefully next week results will be out.

Lest I forget. I heard from a source that the F.A., may be looked into by ICAN COMMITTEE if the level of performance is generally below average. Same for other courses and level. Cheers
