what applies to that tiny city applies to that Country. If a city can reserve the right to just one religion, then a Country made up of many tiny Cities can also av that right. Saudi unlike US is not a secular Country, US has no religion. Anyone going to Saudi already knows there is no church there, It's an open secret, so why not go to a secular nation or predominantly Christian nations?
Besides Saudi isn't the only Muslim nation, why not talk abt the Muslim nations housing churches and even synagogues?

as this non-muslims on whom jizya are imposed stayed in the muslim land PERMANENTLY it is a fee for the protection of the Non-muslims by the muslim government and it is worthy to note that non muslims who are only residing in the muslim lands temporarily don't pay jizya

And this jizya is fixed and is used as a compensation or donation for the poor and unprivileged non-muslims alike...so this non-muslim who a obligated to pay jizya are seen as part or citizens of the country and should contribute In the welfare of the land

As for muslims they are obligated to pay zakat which is about 2.5% of your annual earnings or more depending on generosity

The verse you quoted above is applicable to non muslims in the muslim land who refused to pay TAX not does who refused to JOIN ISLAM,,now go study the punishments for not paying tax

With regards to does who fight you the koran say

“Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not

'fight against' in that verse doesnt imply defensive war. Again, 'fight' doesn't signify peace. Also, 'until' in d verse means you continue to fight non Muslims until they are made to pay jizah or whatever. Fighting cannot be a peaceful way to propagate or promote a religion of peace. It means Islam is not a religion of peace as Muslims claim.
