Still puzzled, and seeking answers to the Relevance of this Hajj in the life of an average Muslim. Does Visiting Saudi, makes you a better Muslim?or we just want that toga Alhaji?

i still don't understand why Muslims have to worry about or mourn anyone that dies in Saudi since they say it gives them direct entry to allahh's heaven. Some are demanding investigations into the cause of the stampede, while some even sugges that the members of the royal family allegedly responsible for the stampede should be executed. Haba! Does it mean Muslims don't trust allahh again?

Wot a pity, ur post realy shows how narrow minded u ar. ISLAM cannot be compared wit any other religion in d world quote me any where. Mecca (saudi Arabia) is not just a country, its an Holy land as supplicated to Allah by prophet Ibrahim A.S(even ur bible call him Abraham) after he laid the foundation of the kaabah with his son, Ismail.(ur bible call him Ishmael). U cannot be a thief/criminal/veil doer, etc and u expect to die in the Holy land. Not possible, u would rather come back home b4 ur death. Its only by Allah's Mercy that one can die in the Holy land. I would not want to belive that u ar jelous becos christianity/hinduism/idolators etc has no acclaimed Holy land. Well sorry its nobody's fault.
As for muslim, our visit to the Holy land is the the 5th Pillar of our faith, and must be practice by anyone capable. With the promise by Allah dat any one who lost his/her life there will be an admited in AL _ Janat.

Today the only religion that fulfilled the prophesy of Zephaniah 3 vs 9 is Islam. The bible says

What evidence do we need?

Messiah is the only person the Jewish were expecting. The prophet 'like unto' Moses, who led the people of God out of bondage into freedom. Deuteronomy 18: 15 give three criteria Of the Prophet. He will be from the 'midst of thee', of 'thy brethren', 'like unto me (Moses)'. Did muhaaamad meet all these criteria? 1. Jesus was born a Jew, among the Jews, in Israel. 2. Jesus earthly father was from the tribe of Judah, one of the twelve tribes of Israel. 3. Jesus was like unto Moses; He was born and the kin wanted to kill Him at infant just like Moses. He delivers His people from their sins, and gives freedom to whoever decides to follow Him as Moses led Israel out of bondage to freedom. Deuteronomy 18:18 also gives another characteristic of the prophet/messiah, God will put His words in His mouth'. Jesus says i speak what i hear from My Father, john 8 :26. Muhaaamad got his message from a cursed angel.

i like ur kind of ppl coz u blv in d freedom of religion just like i do. but again islam does not have denominations and islam is one coz in as much one obeys d 5 pillars of islam (*oneness of God, *prayers, *arms giving, *fasting, *pilgrimage) and follows d teachings of the holy prophet. Unlike Christianity, tht evn the generally accepted sacred sabbath, some obverse it on Sat nd some on Sun amidst other differences

Christianity tells me that my hereafter is secure if I believe on the Lord Jesus and acknowledge that he died for my sins. If I have done that and live this life accordingly, and why do I have to believe in another 'Prophet' that God supposedly sent many many years after especially when the same sacrifice said it is finished. Ultimately we are saying that the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross was pointless. That would be a very painful and pointless exercise. Now, who in his right mind will go through all that aggro to find out it was all for nothing. I know I wouldn't.

We all acknowledge that the Almighty God is all knowing, and is the beginning and the end. If he knew that he was going to make "another way" available, why did he offer this huge sacrifice of his son? This means God is not all knowing like everyone says he is.


I am just trying to put this into context here,
In John 15:13, it says that Greater love than this has no man known that a man should lay down his life for his friends. (SACRIFICE) And by this same sacrifice, in Hebrews 10:10, it says "And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." Going on to verse 12 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. And lastly verse 14 because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

I guess all I am trying to say is that the sacrifice that was made was/is a one time thing. We do not need a new message or a new way to get to the Father. This is what the bible tells me.

Now who would I believe? Someone that paid such a price for me because he loved me, and tells me to love my neighbours as myself (because, let's face it, If I did that alone, my neighbours shouldn't find problems with me) but hey, we are humans and someone who didn't offer such a sacrifice?

What more can i say about the evil prophet that is referred to as the best Muslim. He was worshipped in Matthew 8:2, Thomas calls Him God and Lord in John 20:28, Jesus didn't rebuke these people for worshiping Him and calling Him Lord and God. Jesus is Lord!
